Aware I was charged about $60 EXTRA at check in . I’ve never been charged that much in check in ever and that was a huge surprise that I didn’t appreciate, def I would recommend to find a way to tell the guest before booking that they wil be charged that much. The food is mediocre and needs to leveled up. My bathroom shower was clogged when showering. Other than that the rest was absolutely stunning and perfect . Thank you

Lovely hotel, 6km from downtown so be prepared to Uber everywhere. Not a problem, just good to know. Downtown is party city and you don’t want to be there! Full kitchens so Uber over th Fresko and stock up. The hotel market is very limited but does sell water, wine and beer. We loved staying here and will go back.

The view is spectacular overlooking the pacific ocean, the experience did not work out since on Expedia the hotel is listed as all inclusive when in fact it is not. As expected the bill increased exponentially from there and once you are at the hotel and it has been paid you are trapped under those circumstances. The rooms were clean however smelled damp all the time and the property shows it's age by means of clogged bathtubs and failing sliding door locks. This is a small resort more suitable to families who wish to cook at the hotel, not right for the more sofisticated adult traveler.

The staff , especially Antonio, Crisol, and Arturo , made my stay very special. Beautiful spot to view the humpbacks all day long off in the distance. Small beach but teeming with tropical fish for snorkeling. Gear is free from the hotel. Food was fair to good , rooms were very clean but also tired , I understand Reno’s are on the way

Hot cold water didn't work in shower one side ONLY had hot (even though it was suppose to have cold it didn't adjust to cold)

Bed was terribly HARD!

Trip booked/paid in late summer and multiple requests for building 3 were made ( well in advance) but not accommodated! Its evident, Management at desk isn't willing to work with guests requests…. This was our 3rd time staying here and 1st time was by far the best experience but unfortunately, last two previous stays continue to disappoint.

Not sure if we will give a 4th go especially when requests (well in advance) arent accommodated.

Bar/pool staff, (Angel) and bell help, (Gabrielle) are best part of the stay here! This has been consistent and VERY APPRECIATED!

Remodeling is now beginning for next 5 years!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Having access to the beach and being able to take towels, beach chairs and sun umbrellas made the whole experience top notch.
Even with restoration happening it was hardly noticeable. Glad the place is being kept up.
So much staff to cater to anything we may have needed, with service being of high value.
It being a secure property we felt safe and comfortable.
The rooms were simply lovely, with everything we needed so we could relax and have a perfect holiday.
For our first warm destination holiday, it was perfect!

Room was wonderful. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Great view from the oceanfront penthouse. Saw whales from the room every day. Beach was awesome, swimable every day we were there for 9 days. The snorkeling was very good right at the resort. Brought our paddle boards and paddled right from the resort with the whales. They had an SUV available that fit our group of 7 people ready every time I asked and fares were only slightly more than a 4 person Uber. Pools and hot tubs were awesome. Prices for drinks and food are very high. We got lots of uber groceries and some uber eats which was easy to arrange. The hotel staff was helpful with luggage carts to haul our orders to the room.

We had never been to Cabo before. The Hyatt looked very nice in pictures, so we thought, lets go!

We were very impressed and pleased with this location for many reasons. The first few days we really didn't want to go anywhere, and we needed to just relax. There is a huge market about a half a mile away, uphill, but I need the exercise. We made breakfast in our room and enjoyed our view of the ocean from our balcony.

Didn't hurt that there were whales everywhere putting on a show. They ham it up for the whale watchers, but I'm ok with that because they were easily visible from our balcony, and it was amazing to watch. Bringing binoculars next time, but they were only 150-200 yards away.

The Hyatt had great dinners every night, and we took full advantage of it! We loved the food there!! Our waiter Arturo was great. For that matter, the whole staff was very nice. Always smiling and laughing with the guests, very friendly, and they seemed to be having fun at their jobs, but working hard at the same time. The bellboy Fernando was also especially nice to us. He delivered our bags, showed us our room, made sure we knew where everything was, checked out beach chairs and umbrellas for us, and always with a huge smile.

We also enjoyed pool aerobics, a salsa lesson, and especially the cooking class with Chef Rodolfo that featured chsalsa, guac, and ceviche. The Chef taught us a lot and was really funny. Also, we got to eat large portions of everything. We can't wait to go back!

Where to start. The staff are very friendly and nice. The sound of jack hammering and construction wasn’t my idea of relaxing. Infinity pool with view of the ocean was more of a less filled pool with view of plywood. Little things seemed to be in disrepair like our shower door not closing, the shower not working properly, the water pressure and temperature fluctuating wildly key cards not working etc. Activities and food/ drinks are expensive. 30$ Canadian for a margarita.

Room was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was well-stocked. Restaurant and room service prices were very reasonable. Food was very good and great serving sizes. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The pool area was a nice size for the property. There was quite a bit of work being done on the pool deck and surround balcony areas that caused some noise during the day - it wasn't horrible but it was slightly annoying. The adjoining public beach is lovely but is a significant walk (about 80+ stair-steps down) from the property - and you have to carry your chairs (provided by the hotel) down, which is a pain. I was offered the opportunity to attend the Vacation Club presentation but wasn't pressured. I opted for a pedicure at the spa. The spa is pretty basic - you have to walk through some uglier areas of the property to get to it and it's under a cabana outside. No running water, so the water for my foot bath was heated by an electric kettle. Not posh, but also not expensive. My first appointment was canceled due to rain since it was basically outside. There are some basic poolside activities. I would stay here again when looking for relaxing poolside days but probably wouldn't bring my 30-ish-year old kids or small children who might want more activities.

An excellent property with lots of options. Our villa had a wonderful view of the ocean and while it was a ground level room we were on the edge of a cliff with a view down to a rocky coast. Beautiful. Two large pools and two hot tub type pools plus bbq’s and a very well equipped exercise room made it very helpful and comfortable.

Pros: spacious room; pools and availability of lounge chairs; spectacular scenery (we had a garden view room but next time I would spend extra on partial or full ocean view); food and beverages both overall quality with a few exceptions (eg the ceviche was just mediocre) but tacos, pizza, burritos, burgers, pasta were great; food and beverage service was excellent, they get to know your name and remember you if you come back. We met lots of guests who had been coming back for years and staff who gave them big hugs who had obviously been working here for years too.
Cons: housekeeping was understaffed. We were told our room would be cleaned every second day, which was fine except they never came before 3 or 4pm which was when we were usually back in our rooms after a day in the sun, showering off the sunscreen and chlorine. Also, rooms had kitchens which were well equipped (including a dishwasher, a total pro, should be above!) but cooking and eating leftovers generates garbage which often needed to be removed more frequently than every second day, necessitating frequent calls to ask housekeeping to come. Also rooms were spacious and fairly comfortable but could use an update.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stunning location and outstanding hospitality
The cliffside views were breathtaking—you could see the Cabo arches right from the pool. The suite was thoughtfully designed and perfect for cooking in. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and valet parking made coming and going effortless. The private beach was beautiful, with chairs and umbrellas provided, making every beach day relaxing and memorable.

Shockingly great room (top floor), great view. Resort is quiet with helpful and friendly staff. Easy to get beach chairs and umbrellas for the semi-private beach. Great water and pleasant swimming and snorkeling.
Far enough but not too far from Cabo town, easy to Uber around.

We would totally stay there again. Food is good - not inexpensive but as expected.

Overall very very impressed and resort and room were amazing.

On our recent stay in Cabo the Sirena Del Mar turned out to be an excellent choice. The staff and servers were all super welcoming and helpful. We visited the on site restaurant on our arrival day for dinner and departure day for lunch. Each meal was exactly what we were looking for! In regards to the room (3402P) we were blown away by the ocean view (saw whales breaching from the balcony right after check in) and spaciousness of suite. Beds were comfy and having the full kitchen was a nice option. I would definitely consider staying here on a future visit. Thanks again for the hospitality!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Sirena del Mar. The staff—from the concierge and front desk to the restaurant and poolside teams—provided excellent service throughout our visit. As someone who works out six days a week, even on vacation, I really appreciated the gym and the variety of equipment available. I didn’t need to modify my routine at all due to limited equipment, which is rare for a resort gym. The only downside is that it can feel a bit small when it gets busy, but otherwise it was great.

The views were absolutely spectacular, and our room was comfortable, though it could benefit from some updates.

Also, a special shout-out to every server and staff member for their attentiveness to our needs (sorry we didn’t always remember names) Guillermo, aka “Memo,” for his sense of humor and great salesmanship—even though we didn’t purchase a vacation membership this trip, we truly enjoyed interacting with him.

The Resort has top notch service, very clean, and a full kitchen with everything we needed to make us feel at home. We had washer and dryer in our unit which was very convenient. Our balcony had the most stunning view of the ocean, like literally on the ocean. We had our own private beach with the beach amenities to go with it. We saw pods of whales having fun. I can go on and on about our stay. We will definitely be back very soon, the staff was outstanding and made our 21st anniversary a unforgettable experience. I can't wait to get back

One of the best hotel stays I have experienced. I don’t say this often but I would definitely return when visiting Mexico again. The experience was nearly perfect. Additional comments below are to help improve future experiences. The concierge’s lack the motivation to share the night life were limited. We leaned about the places we asked about after our experiences. I had a dinner and a restaurant that had nightlife starting an hour later. It was disappointing that we didn’t know there was entertainment. Mainly a concierge could’ve advised a different dinner time so we could’ve enjoyed the entertainment. The rooms were accommodating with all the amenities, but the small detail finishes were a little rough. The staff was amazing. The hotel is very lucky to have a staff they have. I’ve never experienced such a friendly staff before. They are so kind, accommodating and friendly. But it was one staff member out of the 50 we interacted with that was a bit abrasive.

Stayed with the family and my mom in the penthouse - 2504P- fantastic views of the garden and the ocean. 1600+ sqft place, lots and lots of space and extremely comfortable. The food was decent, slightly on the expensive side but nothing to rave about either. Proximity to CSL helped since it was only a $8 under ride in and out.

Booked this hotel for a week for my 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a great area however it is aged. The floor in the room that we stayed had foundational cracks from the front door to the back door and many different locations. Not a big deal I wasn’t in fear that the building was going to slip into the ocean, however You would think that these things would be fixed. We booked a dinner at the hotel. It was more of a dinner show type of thing the cost to us was a total of $150 with one drink each and tip. The food was absolutely horrible. The chicken mole was not chicken mole. It was some kind of brown sauce and the chicken wasn’t great and to be quite honest with you I can’t remember what the rest of the food was, but it was not good. The show was good. They had dancers and stuff like that But then they had a MC bring people up from the audience and that was fun to watch, but not what I expected. The Staff were well mannered and very helpful. Our trip ran through a Friday and Saturday night. I can say that on Friday night one of the neighboring suites decided to have awe’re well mannered and very helpful. The place was nice. More low key than some of the newer resorts. The service / hospitality was mediocre. We had a couple of situations where my 11 year old daughter ordered a non-alcoholic pina colada daiquiri mix and my 8 year old son ordered a smoothie where their faces turned bright pink and had pink blotches on their bodies. We think there was some alcohol in both drinks. They offered to bring a doctor to examine them as well as a room upgrade next time we come back but still made us pay for both drinks in question.

There are a lot of choices in Cabo to stay depending on your budget and what you want to experience. We are in our 50’s so we prefer to stay from Médano beach. If you’re young and want the energy and craziness stay in Medano beach. What we like about this resort and we are not an owner but it’s our first choice to book. The staff is great and each year we see the same staff and they remember us. The rooms are equipped with kitchenettes, laundry so great for a family. We go to local stores shop so we make some food and they have 2 gas grills. So for a family we save on our food bill. The main pool has great view of the arch and swim up bar if you choose to drink or order food. They have 2 hot tubs well maintained and a private cove. They give you free beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear. It may not be your bougie or how ever you spell it as some. But it 10-12 minutes from downtown or 35+ to easy cape. My only issue now is when booking through an online service is the resorts charge a resort fee. I wish they would just all publish rates with all fees included versus the awe ha moment and surprise! We stay here 2-3 times a year and it’s just our go to. Price, value, location and staff. If you stay say hi Angel at the swim up bar class act he’s been there for 15 years!

Our family of 4 stayed at Sirena Del Mar at the 2 bedroom penthouse. We came before check-in time and we were granted early check-in. Our room was spacious, had a kitchen, living room, the beds were king size and the bathrooms were large. There was a hot tub in the terrace but we opted to use the ones in the common areas. I really loved the master’s bedroom bathroom and the marble floor of the entire apartment. They also have supplies for guests that you can ask for like slippers. The unit is stocked with supplies like plates, utensils, coffeemaker. There is a washer & dryer in our room. The view from our room was gorgeous, ocean view and you can see the famous arch from a distance. The staff are very helpful, and accommodating like Mariel who helped book our activities, Sebastian who checked us in, waiters in the restaurant Estrella. My husband was very impressed with the food especially the ceviche. For the 4 days that we were there, we enjoyed the pools and the hot tubs. They also had a theme/activity/show every night, it was never boring! There was Mexican fiesta, live band, even a fire show performance. The Saturday when we left there was a listing of activities for young & old. I also liked that the property is gated and there is always a man or woman who allows people to come in; so we felt very safe. I highly recommend this hotel. They are very responsive to guests’ needs.
The hotel is fairly close to the Marina, to Medano Beach, Chileno Beach, and Palmilla Beach.

The property was beautiful, we stayed in a PH suite. It was well equipped and had a great view of the arch.

Wish the property would have been an all-inclusive. We are gold members with Expedia and didn’t even receive any types of rewards or discounts.

But besides that I want to give Antonio, our pool server, a big shout out. Siempre atento y amable con nosotros. “Shirley temples”.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It offers excellent amenities including a beautiful pool, jacuzzi, on-site restaurant, game room, several bars, and a well-equipped gym. My garden view room was spacious and comfortable, featuring two TVs, a king-sized bed, plenty of kitchenware, and a washer and dryer. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

There is a supermarket about a five-minute drive from the hotel, which is very convenient for picking up groceries. You will need to take an Uber or arrange transportation to get there.

A few things could be improved. For domestic travelers, transportation to the hotel was not clearly communicated, and the assigned contact was slow to respond to emails. Also, the bathroom door locks are not very user friendly. They are a bit tricky and not ideal for families with kids.

The beach right next to the hotel is stunning, but be aware that the tides can be strong. If you are looking for calmer waters, it is worth exploring other beaches in the area.

I loved how friendly the staff really is, but the food was tasteless (little to no flavor) I would stay there again if ever needed since I considered their villas fully equipped with anything I would possibly need and more. Right pricing, just a few issues here and there (water pressure in the shower, mosquitoes, etc) over all I give it a 8 out of 10

It was the absolute most fun! The hotel was perfect. I can’t find anything negative to say about this hotel. We loved it so much. The room was huge with a full kitchen. The bed was super comfortable. The food at the restaurant was so good, we ate most of our meals there. The views were beautiful! The activities at the pool were so fun, we didn’t want to leave, lest we miss BINGO! My girlfriend won a pair of cz diamond earrings! We even got an ocean view when we paid for a garden view. (We still got the garden view room but it so happened to also have an ocean view and we got lucky.) We’re already planning our next trip. Thank you for making our trip special!

No Happy Hour?

Overall stay had very nice views and a very friendly staff. However, we were mislead on their “Happy Hour” and “Taco Tuesday.” It appears to be merely a scheme to encourage people to buy their food and drinks which are already priced fairly high. They did not honor this promo while we were there and I hope that others aren’t also being taken advantage of. Aside from the highly priced food and drinks, the stay was pleasant with gorgeous views.
