Easy check in, unit was as described, worked for our visit, only stayed one night, so can not speak to the amenities. Staff was pleasant and responsive to concerns. Would stay again. Was clean and met our needs.

I love this place! From the moment I drove up the driveway surrounded by manicured lawns and the Magnificent Powhatan mansion I was awed. The unit itself was just perfect. Two bedrooms two baths a full kitchen with utensils and a back deck overlooking a small pond. The weather cooperated so I was able to enjoy mornings out on the deck watching the geese fly in and then, later in the evening, I took my tablet and watched a movie outside. The grounds are luscious and are inviting to take long walks or strolls. I ducked into the restaurant just to check things out and wasn't impressed so I never ate there and the pools weren't open for the season so I can't talk about those amenities.

Very pretty resort, well maintained. The rooms were very nice with flat screen TVs in every room. Full kitchens with everything you have at home. Bed was comfortable and bathrooms nice and clean. The entire complex appeared to have been completely upgraded in the last couple of years. Highly recommend.

1. The outside pool was closed it should of been open. Both pools look ready. Jacuzzi was going the whole time we were their. 2. I ask for someone to come at unit before we leave due they put 200.00 on your credit card
I said we are not to want anything. Ask later again then was told incase for damage. I said before we leave I want the manager to check it. The time was set for 9:30 did not arrive. I texted them and was told will come when we leave. I called said the same thing again. I do not trust knowing that charges would be put on my card then I said we will not leave untill manager arrive. 20min later a young kid arrive that is NOT a manager. He said it is clean!! I pointed out something that I pointed out earlier that week. It was not taken care of. This experience that we went through should NEVER have happen. 3. When you ask a question was told go to the map. Could of said and gave you a visual aide land mark.

Next room had huge rock music playing until 3am. Kept us awake. We called security who got them to turn it down at midnight. After 15 minutes the booming was Bach on high. No follow up from security.
I will not stay at your hotel Again.

My grown daughter and stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 br 2 ba ground floor unit. It was the perfect accommodation for us. Clean, spacious, well appointed.

The rooms were clean and had a ton of space. It’s more like a two bedroom apartment than a hotel room. We were able to prepare meals in the room.

I did feel a little bad when we had someone staying below us because I could tell the floor echoed, but I never heard anyone else. We talked to the man staying below us and he said he wasn’t bothered. If I was doing it again, I would just choose a lower level rather than upper for my family.

The outdoor pools weren’t open yet, but I think I counted three plus two hot tubs. One of them even looks like a 25 yd lap pool. They also had mini golf and an indoor pool. My husband said the workout facility was good. We didn’t utilize all of the activities, but they had a schedule of events with crafts and movies. This is an amazing place to take your family!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay, we had a lot of together and enjoyed the activities that were there. I wish the fishing experience could have been better, we just had a fishing rod and nothing else. And the inside pool area was always over packed, so some days we didn’t go. But other than that the staff was wonderful, anything we needed all I had to do was text them and let them know. I wish the restaurant would have been open and the bar . We love it over all , the 3 story suite was great. it was a lot of space and we needed that. We will go back again.

carpeting up the stairs was dirty and smelled damp. the larger bathroom did not have many towels. the tub drainer would not stay down to hold the water.

The experience was all just ok. Not good but not bad. The room - 2 bedroom deluxe - was great. It was large and had everything we needed. The furniture wasn’t particularly comfortable but the space as a whole was. The balcony was unusable because it’s not kept up and the table and chairs were thickly covered in pollen. The staff was fine - not bad but not great…it was efficient. The cleanliness was hit or miss. The drawers were full of what looked like cigarette tobacco and some dishes needed to be rewashed. The value was good overall but I don’t think it sets itself apart from any other resort in the area.

The unit we were in was clean and very nice. You could tell it was older because the furniture was marked up badly and the toilet in the main bedroom seemed to have either been replaced or eill at some point fall through the floor. Even walking by it you would hear it hit the wall and move. Overall it was a very nice stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room had hair in showers, garbage outside our room when we arrived, no hot water in one of our rooms. If we knew this, it would have changed our decision to stay here.

I have been coming to this resort for the past six years, but this time was the worst experience i have ever had!!!everything started great until the next day, when a stupid family checked in the upper unit of our unit! They have some stupid kids that kept running, and screaming until almost 1am, we couldn't go to sleep, because of the noise, and i had to call the front desk several times so they can send security to calm them down, but unfortunately security showed up almost 2 hrs later, and things could have escalated badly, and thats when i decided ro drive to the front desk to solve this issue!!! All they could do was moving us to a different unit, and it was almost 2am, and we were told , we would go back to our inial unit the next morning, coz they would either move the other family somewhere else, or even kick them out. The unit were moved to was so filthy to the point we couldn't even sit on the couch. I had to cover it with bed sheet, the carpet was so dirty, everything in the unit was outdated, unlike the 1st unit we checked in, it was renovated. And clean.The next day we were told the manager didn't approve us to move again to a different unit, and we had to stay in that filthy apartment. All personnel were unhelpful, and stupid for not making right and fixing the issue in a proper way. I think this time definitely will be the last time i would ever step a foot in this stupid place.

I picked the wrong property........
This is a family-friendly property with limited service. It is more like a condo/time share property where I wanted a full service hotel.
Our first spacious apartment had a non functioning heat pump and a large rip in the carpet (hallway). When reported, the staff advised maintenance would be out soon to look at it. We waited and waited and decided to call again. It was them we were told that maintenance would not be coming to see the heat pump until the next day. We asked for and received a different like unit....but had to 100% move ourselves as well as go to the front desk to get the key.
The second unit had a broken light globe/cover on the living room fan and two worn spots on the top front edge of the first stair case. It was late at night and we chose to stay in that unit. We remained in the second unit for our four night stay.
The grounds are very well kept and clearly a place for families. I'm not at that stage of my life and would not choose again.
The restaurant was understaffed and several tables had been used but not cleared and wiped down. On staff member came from the kitchen area to \"bust a table\" after about 25 minutes into our visit. The staff member did clear the dirt dishes but did not wipe the table, cleaning it for the next customers to use. The very busy, polite and efficient wait staff served customers but also did not bust tables. The restaurant was clearly a family style restaurant.

Our parking spot was occupied on 2 days and we reached out to the front desk who said they would get security to take care of it, but did not move the car on our spot and we had to park on grass and away from our building

We recently stayed at Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg and overall had a very pleasant experience especially for a family-friendly getaway near Williamsburg attractions.

The property itself is beautiful, with a historic charm and well-maintained grounds that make it feel like a peaceful retreat. The villa-style accommodations were spacious, clean, and well equipped with a full kitchen, which made it very convenient for a longer stay. It felt more like a home than a hotel room.

Definitely above average experience. From the 24 hour gate keeper to check in and a literal team of concierges providing local info & brochures to the breathtaking grounds, we 100% enjoyed our time here! Plus, the focal point of the property is the original brick mansion dating back to 1735 which is left open daily for self guided tours is very special. As far as the unit itself, it was great having an actual condo/apartment with spacious rooms, a full kitchen, televisions in every room, a great balcony with spacious views beautiful trees, grounds, birds, and squirrels complete with a nice table and chairs - perfect for morning coffee or a full meal; and even an electric fireplace. We would not hesitate to stay here again! One note regarding the washer and dryer - it is small, so don't plan on doing the same quantity of laundry in one load that you probably normally do. Finally, the kitchen is well equipt with basics for cooking & simple baking; plus toaster, coffee maker, and full size fridge, oven, & dishwasher. However be advised that no cooking basics such as oil, salt and pepper were provided, which is fine; but just be aware you need to bring your own in case you do want to actually cook. We loved our time here. Thank you for providing an exceptional value for the money spent!

Our stay to visit our grandson at William and Mary was very brief, only one night. We were very impressed with our room, a two bedroom ground floor suite with a very nice kitchen area and additional living space in a den and outdoor patio. The amenities seemed very good, although we did not have time to do more than enjoy a walk around the beautiful grounds. Would definitely come again.
