Room was clean except the shower curtain would not close all the way, showerhead was covered in mold and the deck was filthy-birds nest, dirt splashed on walls, lots of leaves and debris. Ac did not function properly the first night. Reported issues to staff-they fixed the ac & replaced the shower curtain. Luckily there were 2 bathrooms so we used the other shower. Found out as we were leaving that they cleaned the deck on the unit above us. Staff was friendly, amenities and the grounds were nice.

The property was very quiet but there was trash left outside the door for at least 3 of the 4 days that we stayed by previous occupants. No clean linen was ever dropped off or toiletries had to keep washing towels. Ants were crawling out of the dresser. Pools were nice and clean and check-in was a little longer then expected.

The hotel (condos) were fine, the problems were check-in. The room they had assigned to us had a broken bed frame. Instead of assigning us a different room even after I asked to be assigned a different room, they told us we had to wait for the repair to be completed. How long would that take? They couldn't tell me. I went by the room in question and there was no one there doing repairs. Back at the desk I had to get a little pushy, either tell me how long or assign me another room. Eventually after some whispering between staff another room was assigned. By then it was after 5pm, well after the 4PM check-in. If ultimately I received another room then why not change it so I could check in when I arrived? Save the broken bed frame for someone who wasn't there yet? I asked for a refund of the \"facility fee\" I was given the refund but on arrival home we noted it was added back. I'll follow up later.
The second thing to be aware of it that are trying to sell vacation packages so once you complete your check-in (or not complete your check-in as the case may be) the \"greeters\" funnel you to the Concierge desk, which isn't a real Concierge Desk, but a team ( I think there 5 or 6) of sales people. They begin by questioning your trips purpose and asking about the length of stay, then they attempt to extend your stay and get you to attend something I'm assuming was like a time share pitch. Not a good experience when it really could and should have been.

We had a girls birthday trip, with 5 of us. The room was decent. There was mildew and some hair in the shower when we got there. The water pressure was terrible though. Some of the soap bottles for thr shower were unglued to the wall and no handsoap anywhere. One of the towel bars was hanging off the wall, and the tub faucet was sticking out of the wall.

When we checked in, we were told go to the customer service area for a welcome gift, it was a speech for staying at the resort with a hour or two timeshare presentation.

The staff were FLYING by in the parking lot quite a bit and cut us off at a 4 way stop and almost hit us. Not saying all staff were rude but the ones that were around campus were oblivious when driving.

We will probably stay somewhere else next visit.

We usually stay at Williansburg twice a year, but this was the first time we stayed at this place. I had to wait 45 minutes with my 4 very active grandchildren so they could get the apartment ready. Once we got in I had to get rid of the spiderwebs in the porch so kids could have a snack at the table. Some dishes in the cabinets had old food stuck to it. As we were just staying 2 nights, I asked that they would just pick up trash and leave coffee for next day. When we left the property the trash was still there and the coffee never materialized. There are better places in Williansburg where you will feel welcomed.
I appreciate the effort of Mrs. Yolanda at the Activities Center and the young man near the indoor swimming pool who handles the mini golf. They made our stay worthwhile. Hospitality is not just about the amenities the place offer, but it's firstly how the staff welcome us in the place.

We were given a complimentary upgrade to a two-bedroom which made the whole trip much more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious. The stairs leading to the upstairs unit are so steep, it would be difficult for anyone with the slightest mobility issue to use them. It rained for 3/5 days if our trip, so I’m sure the amenities are great, but we only used the pool once. I like to drink coffee on the deck, but they laid the boards so close that they hold alllllll the water from the rain, which made it so soggy out there. The fitness center is awesome though. Much better than the pics of the property. Also, it’s totally worth going to the Hilton Vacation Club meeting to get the $200 gift card (that’s what they mean by visiting the Concierge for your gifts, lol). Overall, the stay was good. I would book this place again.

We have been visiting this resort for a while now. We enjoy the grounds and having full kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are always clean. The few things that needs to be addressed are the very strong cleaning chemical scent in the rooms. The rooms usually need an hour with windows open and fans on full power to make the smell disappear. I am usually not sensitive to this but those who are needs to be aware of this. The coffee shop is open very inconsistently however the restaurant offers a variety of options.
Our last visit the stove and microwave was broken but we only stayed a night we didn't mind.
There is washer and dryer in the apartment if needed. They also supply detergents (dish and laundry). Overall, we love Powhatan resort.

My experience was not great and that was my fault. I made assumptions. The paperwork at checkin didn't help and I didn't know what to do with trash or towels. They don't do housekeeping unless you stay 7+ days which was frustrating with 4 kids. There was a QR code on the side of the fridge that explained everything. I'm an older person and poured through the paperwork. A teenager with our group pointed out the QR code. Also they won't drop off a vacuum if you aren't present. I thought I was at a resort and wasn't planning to clean myself. Again, a great place but I was uninformed.

The guard at entrance was friendly and helpful.
I went to registration and found the check in lady very nice and helpful. I inquired if I could move up to a 3 bedroom and pay the difference?
She said the hotel was full n Saturday and Sunday. I noticed there were not many cars at the hotel during our whole stay.
The suite was very spacious, clean, and comfortable plus well equipped.
On our Check out day, I requested an hour later check out.
I was informed I could not because they had already given out all their late check outs? I’ve never had this happen at other properties.
Again I did not see very many cars outside in parking lot.
The washer and dryer were a pleasant touch.
The dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well. I had to run it again without soap so as to make sure they were clean.
The carpeting is very dark and seems dirty.
I ate at the restaurant for breakfast before my other family members were to arrive. The staff were wonderful. The food was ok. It seemed the toast and potato’s were old tasting. Only ate the omelette. I feel bad to say this because all the wait, mgt, and cook were very sweet and professional.
All in all the property grounds are beautiful and the suite was enjoyable.
The location was perfect for all we planned to do.

Great value for the money. It was cold and rainy all weekend, but we could find plenty for our kids to do indoors on the property: game rooms, arts & crafts, indoor pool, and scheduled activities. It’s a big property, but not a far distance from suites to activities (there was also basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, a playground, outdoor pools, a gym, and even a historic property to visit). The rooms themselves were great, all the basic suites (with stairs) are a bit noisy as you share main entrance with neighbor. Amazed at amount of space. Good location - close to Colonial Williamsburg, area shopping centers, etc. Beer and wine samples and magician at reg desk was a nice touch. Wonderful staff, especially in the activities center. Only downside for the weekend (other than crappy weather) was the flood of teenage kids who were in town for sports competition. Some of the play areas were way too crowded.

This location has a lot of potential. Outside it’s beautiful inside and on the premises there’s just no amenities other than the pool. A lot of things were under renovation. Our condo was really out of date all the way around cabinets were falling apart at the hinges weird handles, and cheap fixtures. The gym on the premises is OK barely able to be called a gym. Every TV in our condo three and All were not smart. TV is not able to stream anything if you log into your own account. The outside porch area and furniture was very very dirty and needs to be power washed. Staff is friendly and responsive. If you need extras of whatever you need. Overall maintenance of the place definitely needs to step up their game. For the money, not the best location in Williamsburg as far as amenities.

This place was amazing! The mini-apt is spacious, clean, and so lovely. The attention to detail was amazing- if you call for something, they are there to help in record time. From people I emailed, texted, or met in person - everyone goes above and beyond.

We had multiple people staying there, in various rooms. We loved that we could meet in so many places - the pool area is unreal! And mini-golf was so fun. There are lots of walking paths, and a nice central restaurant.

Had a few minor inconveniences, such as the body wash and conditioners being empty and it taking two days and two requests to get more. Additionally, the activity room and building with the pool was under construction, and the chlorine level in the pool was such that our skin (myself and one of my children) had a multi-day rash and it took multiple showers to get the chlorine completely off my skin.

Otherwise, the grounds were beautiful, the location was great, and the space for our family of four was perfect. I would stay there again, but beware that they will try to get you to listen to a sales pitch about buying a timeshare while you are there.

We stayed here while in town for Mother's Day weekend while visiting the area. We were completely blown away by the size of this place! The campus is huge with so many things to do right in the resort area. With a gated entrance, we felt completely safe. We were immediately impressed with the kindness and friendliness of the staff from the moment we checked in. We were given a welcome packet with loads of info and local dining recommendations. We went to our room, which was a second floor 2 bedroom suite. We loved all the space even tho it was just the two of us. Multiple tvs and lounge areas, 2 bathrooms, outside deck to enjoy the weather which was perfect that weekend. The entire area around us was quiet and peaceful. We walked around the campus and enjoyed the views and amenities such as multiple pools, playgrounds, and even a mini golf course! We went into town to get dinner as there are so many places nearby to eat and shop. Such an incredible place to stay and we will definitely book again!

The grounds and Williamsburg era residence are lovely. The pools are large and appealing. We thought the dining would be less casual and had to go elsewhere for dinner. We also didn’t want karaoke, just a quiet dinner. Fine for families with kids not for more sophisticated travelers.

Either way the flexibility of clean, updated & well maintained accommodations with access to numerous on site activites & events makes for a great getaway!

Very comfortable apartment. I really appreciated the 2 bedroom/2 bath layout since I was traveling with my sister. No amenities to speak of in the off season. (I was hoping for a relaxing soak in the hot tub one night but there were screaming children everywhere, including an apparently unsupervised 4 or 5 year old in the tub.) We did appreciate the electric car charger--it was slow but our room was close enough we could leave the car overnight. There was an attractive outdoor deck but there was no way we could go out there; it was literally swarming with giant carpenter bees.

I love the well kept grounds and the clean condo that I found. The concierge was great. This was handled by text and anything we needed was provided quickly, within 15 minutes. The activities were fun for my granddaughter and grandson.
The indoor pool was too crowded and had too much chlorine, but the outdoor pool looked wonderful. It was just too cool to be open yet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
