No frills, but for place to come and relax and sleep after a long day in Colonial Williamsburg, and was perfectly fine. Bathroom and no stains or grit even in the grout.

Exactly what we needed. Busch Gardens weekend trip for Hallo-Scream. Late check in was easy, Beds were clean and comfortable, Shower had good pressure, and water was nice and hot. We went with the cheaper option because we were only going to be there about 8 hours to get some sleep. No Regrets.

The hotel is older. The outside areas are filthy. The pool is covered but looks very trashy. The price is good, but you get what you pay for. The room was ok for me by myself, but definitely wouldnt bring a family or a female. Carpet in room would leave your bare feet brown. Over all probably wouldn't choose the motel again. John Smith probably had cleaner accommodations in his time. I went for price, and got what I paif for.

Thja has got to be the WORST place I've ever stayed in allthe yeara Ive been coming to Williamsburg. This must be a LIVE IN MOTEL because people were sitting outside in chairs. There was a MAN dressed as a woman prostituting outside. The room smelled HORRIBLE and the decore was old!! DO. NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This hotel was almost a last resort due to our late arrival for a few days in Colonial Williamsburg. I saw some poor reviews and sadly they were true. The room was basic motel accommodations, the security latch was broken, something red was spilled into the nightstand drawer and the furnishings are dated. The worst part was the hardest bed mattress I have ever experienced! Not much sleep that night!

Nothing is good about this property. They didn’t clean the room. The hotel is understaffed. The floor is so dirty. You’ll see screw that is not properly drilled. Also the hotel is the farthest to the colonial Williamsburg historic.

I was grossed out in the initial room where there were wet wash rags hanging from the shower rail, dirty wrinkly tdisheveled towels on the towel rack, extremely wrinkled pillow cases and sheets, dirt sheet. It’s cheap and close to many businesses. Bu it attracts the type of people who can’t behave well or keep quiet. Five sheriffs cars were parked at the entrance investigating something when I returned at night. The sink and shower were in mild disrepair. There were cigarette burns in the sheets. I would say that $50 per night is still a little too much. But the staff was very nice and the front desk manager gave God’s blessings to everyone.

Furniture cushions were worn through, the mattress pad was stained, and safe was locked when we arrived and we were unable to use it. Toilet was very slow to fill. Shower and sink functioned well, AC unit also worked well.

The owner is very friendly and our room was clean. There was a slightly musty odor, but after spraying the room with Lysol the problem was remedied.

First thing we see was a roach...beds were hard..internet bad...and the worst thing was watching tha housekeeping guy used the same bedding not replaced for clean ones..only thing good was the area ...dont have nothing against old hotels..but try to keep it clean ..replaced bedding for some clean ones after people check out...won't stay here again

Hotel could be better than it was. I do not mind staying in lower priced hotels and do not expect Marriott style for Motel 6 rates. This hotel was excessively run down and the owners owe their customers better. Carpet had dark stains, walls were dirty. The tub looked like it was installed when Captain John was alive.
