Check-in was easy, room was clean, breakfast was decent. The omelette egg choice is a plus. The bacon would have been better had it not been sitting in an inch of grease- and the lady working the breakfast area could use some help. The last day of our stay it was still over an hour before breakfast was over and people were coming down and complaining there was no food- one man told her he would come back there and help her get some food cooked and she said she didn’t need his help. We did see another employee in the dining / lobby area but all he did was take out the trash.

I did the online checkin which I thought would expedite things but it didn't. The woman at the checkin did not even acknowledge my presence for 5 minutes while she finished up something on her computer. Also the room had some minor maintenance issues that needed attending like only one bolt holding the toilet seat on which I reported and got a blank stare back.Given that, the location was perfect. Good value for the money. I would stay again.

The room was in decent condition. The bathroom fan didn't work. The elevators were making a lot of popping noises, and one had the floor coming up. My biggest complaint is the house keepers were letting the doors slam in the morning. It was pretty steady, so we weren't able to go back to sleep.

When we checked out the girl on duty did not even apologize for all of our trouble and when I asked for a partial refund of our room rate all she would say is that we booked with a third party and we would have to take it up with them. She didn't even note the problems that we had so they could be addressed by maintenance. Needless to say we won't be staying there again

When we went to our room, the beds were made, but the sheets had been slept in, makeup on the sheets and pillows (which had no pillowcases), dirty towel in the shower, room not vacuumed, elevator and hallway was also dirty. Staff again was great, gave us a new room. Room was clean, but seemed run down. Bathroom door handle stuck and had to fight to get out of it. Burn marks in the carpet, large chips in the paint, shower dripped and had mold.

The Lower Level exterior door was zip tied open so it couldn’t locked so we didn’t feel safe. The fruit at breakfast was old and wrinkly.

The deadbolt does not work properly in Rm 322. As for breakfast, these sausage could have less grease on it and the reheat omelets leave much to be desired. I’ve stayed at this location many times over the years, the condition is deteriorating. It will take more than paint to fix the facility.

My room was not clean on arrival. I had no towels in my room, pillowcases were not on the pillows and not in the room. Two of the lights, one in the entry and one in the bathroom, did not work. I reported this to the desk and asked the room be vacuumed . The lights were fixed, but on arrival for my second night the floor was still not clean so I wore shoes at all times. The weight room was not available and the cardiac room had 2 treadmills that did not work and one older model elliptical. Twice when I entered the cardiac room the equipment was being used by children around the ages of 8 or less as a playground. There were no signs posted about an age limit. The breakfast was very good.

Draper was absolutely the kindest most accommodating host. The breakfast was delicious. My room temperature and bed were absolutely perfect. This hotel DID have a microwave and refrigerator, a lot of hotels are taking the lazy path of not having that. I had two dogs that are well behaved and it was a full hotel. Other guests were so kind and patient with space when we all walked them. The price of this hotel is so reasonable for what I received. I will definitely stay here again.

It’s supposed to be non smoking but as soon as you enter the hallway you could smell cigarette smoke and the cigarette smoke came through the vents in the bathroom. The next night you could smell marijuana in the hallway.

First room there was black mold in the bathtub and the air conditioner did not work. Television did not work either. Requested another room. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling and the toilet was broke. Had to remove the tank lid and pull the chain in order to “flush” the toilet.

When reviewing this property, keep in mind what you paid vs what you expect to receive. My husband and I needed a pet friendly hotel in order to bring our 2 pups to our son's tournament and the price, location, free hot breakfast, and basic cleanliness was exactly what we needed and worth every penny. We did not experience any odd smells, mold, or any other complaint that is blasted all over the internet. Of course, there were a few minor cosmetic issues like a rusty faucet but my clorox wipe was completely white after a walk through of our whole room. The housekeeping do their job well. The side door did have a broken screw so it would slam shut if you let it go but again that's minor and fixable! We must not hold this hotel at the same standard as a brand new Hilton or Comfort Suites. I recommend this hotel for a space to lay your head after a day out or especially if you want to bring your pups! We saved over 600$ by not boarding our dogs and paying double for another non pet friendly hotel. That alone made the stay well worth it!

Upon our arrival we were shown a room that smelled sour and moldy. They gave us a change of room that wasn't much better. The bathroom had paint drops on the floor and it appeared as thougth the painting was to digise the mold spores in the ceithing. There was no ventilation. After showering everything go wet so we had to shower with the door open. There was dirt in the corners of the floor as if the only spot that got mopped was the middle. The bedroom floor felt clammy and damp. I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels because rooms were only cleaned after your first 24hours of stay our first day our we came back to dirty towels and unmade beds. Housekeeping had left for the day.
I have stayed in La Quinta hotels before but never have I had this kind of experience and I won't stay there again. I have stayed at Wyndham prperties before and never seen anything like this.

We checked in and went to our room-the floor was wet and it smelled like cat piss so we called and got moved to another room. Second room had no AC, so I went back to the desk and got moved to a third room. This room had 2 queens instead of the king we requested. We took it anyhow. The desk people were super apologetic but that doesn’t fix the quality of the room. By the time we left 36 hours later, the floor in front of the AC was soaking wet. We traveled with our two small doodles and paid the appropriate fees for two nights. The room was carpeted and smelled like a dog kennel. My husband and I could not sleep due to the overwhelming scent of dog urine and could only imagine how many times the carpeting had been urinated on by various pets. The hotel did reimburse us for the pet fees, but nothing could make up for a sleepless night!

I had stayed at this property 10+years ago. It was nice and close to everything in Williamsburg. We pulled in and the pool was cloudy and greenish. The front desk said we can use the pool at the next hotel. It too looked greenish. I asked which way to downtown Williamsburg (the main reason to stay here). She said she was not from around here. Really? Next we tried to call the front desk and realized our phone did not work. We told them about it and ordered more towels. Phone was never fixed and we were told they don't deliver towels. We had to get them ourselves. Our floor had a cubby hole that said \"Ice and Vending Machine\", but nothing was in there. The front desk never said, \"hi\", or \"good morning\" or anything. There is nothing special about this property. I would never stay or recomend this property to anyone.

Room keys failed to open door 4 times and had to be reprogrammed. Humidity in room made bed linens and carpet wet. Carpet was thread bare in spots. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Bathroom ceiling showed signs of previous leak that were patched but never painted. Bed pillows were the size of a travel pillow. People in parking lot drinking and trying to sell used electronics to children walking into the hotel. Outdoor pool only not usable because the water was green.

Bed was comfortable and hotel was close to the colonial area in downtown. The bathroom floor had someone's contact lens laying there. TV have very limited channels. No cable options and would go in and out. They charge a $20 incidental fees. They will not help you with a booking issue unless you book through them. Some of the staff was helpful and some were rude. The room price was good until they had it their $20 incidental fee and if you stay an extra night you have to rebook it and pay an additional $20 incidental fee.

There wasn't any coffee at the breakfast around 8:15am. There was a dirty wash rag in the shower which made me think it was dirty and I didn't take a shower that night. They did not let me get a cot for my son to sleep on and he had to sleep on the floor.I have stayed there numerous times and will look somewhere else the next time.

The hotel is room nice for the price range, and the lobby is great. Breakfast was awesome with scrambled eggs each day and alternating sausage or bacon and french toast or diced potatoes, and 2 waffle makers plus the standard continental breakfast options.
The only pool (outside) looked a little green - but we never asked about it since we were using the \"awake\" portion of our day at Busch Gardens.
