This place was awful- my husband and I ended up leaving after being there for 3 hours. The room was filthy; there was mold in the shower along with pubic hairs in the bathtub. The pool area was a joke and the hot tub was yellow. The whole place smelled awful and we didn’t feel safe being there. Very shady motel.

My room didnt have a working fridge and when i went to turn on TV it only had 1 battery in the remote. Hard to manually change tv and stay on correct input. Night nurse and when asked to be somewhere a little quieter i got up to my floor and kids just running around which i get is normal but sucks when you cant hide the noiwe

Property was in disrepair at every turn, our room was filthy & had clearly not been cleaned in some time. There were cigarette butts & ash & food crumbs on the floor of our room. We did not stay the night as planned. Staff was nice enough, but I was still charged.

This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed at in the area! The rooms had stained bedding and towels. There was supposed to be a mini fridge and a microwave in the room and it wasnt there. The staff was extremely rude everyday. The breakfast was only cereal with warm milk. The hottub was yellow and when we told the staff the didnt even care it was gross. Very bad experience!

My main complaint is one staff woman there in particular. I didn't get her name but she's an older African American woman with terrible manorism, was very rude and disrespectful, got tempered and unprofessional. I've never experienced first hand such rudeness in your face before. I think she's ready for retirement because she seems angry and bothered.

The pool clean but the hot lukewarm. Staff had it set at 85 degrees and wouldn't turn up the temperature. The building structure of the hotel had cracks and wood window frames falling apart or missing. Breakfast was bagels, cereal and muffins. Our toilets in both rooms worked only half the time. I had to find a plunger to unclog the toilet. At check-in the desk person tried charging my cc twice and wasn't going to give us our rooms. I prepaid for 2 rooms. Overall visit 1.5 stars.

This location was outdated and terrible. I'm not sure how they dont get audited and shut down. On top of that, they charged me an additional $50.

Because I checked in early. I booked the hotel at 1210am n checked in at around 0100am. They said it was hotel policy, but I don't understand how they are enforcing that policy but then they don't care to follow their policy on cleaning the hotel and specifically the rooms correctly. They should definitely reimburse me my hotel stay.

I unfortunately was driving for a long period of time to care to fight it at the time of arrival and just stayed till 0730am.

Over all the stay was not bad. But the shower never got hot ! And the hot tub was more like a bath it never was really hot ! Staff was alright ! Never had any complaints. It is very dated. Needs a lot of refurbishment. The jacuzzi was brown. The pool looked hazy. No smell of chlorine. The first room we were sent to the keys wouldnt work. Went back to the front desk to get new keys. The desk clerk said she was going to put us in a newer room well it was 2 doors from the old room had a funny smell.the front desk was very rude like it was our pro lem.

The hotel was overall in poor condition and the cleanliness left much to be desired. I made the mistake of looking at mattress to check for bedbugs and I wanted to throw up. It was absolutely disgusting. The couch looked like it was from the 1970s, and I made sure not to sit on it. The bathroom was surprisingly clean, but that’s about the only plus from this budget motel-turned-hotel. At the end of the day, this was the cheapest hotel in Williamsburg so be sure to set your expectations accordingly.

The staff seemed very friendly and polite. The room was not as clean as i would like, hair on the sink in the bathroom. Breakfast was alright, nice selection but nothing outstanding. The pool was bad, just outdated and grimy looking. The floors by the pool are super dangerous, no traction at all and smooth. Daughter fell with wet feet immediately, just stepping on it. Absolutely terrible!! Stopping through Williamsburg for the night expecting to get a nice hotel because the pictures looked way better than what you get in person!!! To start the bathroom toilet didn’t work we had had to fix it just to get through the night! No wash cloths were left in the room we had to ask an go get from desk! We took a trip to the pool an so called hot tub to find a beat up room with holes in the wall a dirty floors submerged In water with a hot tub that was dirty a cold!! The experience of this room was never again we will stick to paying more for our kids to be comfortable!!

The room was spotless with appropriate amenities, but there wasn't a microwave in the room which was a surprise as Days Inn usually has one in the room. There was a 'community' microwave in the breakfast area. This was a bit of inconvenience if you wanted to heat up food and didn't feel like going out your room. I was able to dry my clothes as they had a guest laundromat which was good. I didn't make it to breakfast which was until 10 am so I can't rate that. There was an enclosed hot tub and pool available for use. The bed was comfortable (King size). Overall the experience was similar to that of other Days Inns' with the exception of the colonial style decor of the establishment which reflected the area of Williamsburg it is located in. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable informing me of all of the information I needed to know at check-in.

They need to learn how to clean I stayed there twice in 2 weeks and both times it was so terrible I only slept a few hours and left. The tub in the room was not properly cleaned there was dried up shampoo or body wash on the tub floor there was a big red stain on the couch cushion the bathroom door hinges were all rusty there was a huge crack in the bathroom sink the shower curtain rod wasn't properly secured and it was all loose the bathroom light switch cover didn't even cover the entire hole on the wall it was dangerous the light switch outlet cover in the bathroom was missing multiple screws I found what looked to be cigarette ashes behind nightstands and it smelled so nasty in there like an old ash tray also the air and heat register had pieces broken out of it and both times I went there I had booked with Expedia and they always tried charging me again when I get there overall terrible experience won't go there again the last thing is the last night before heading back home we went to check out in the morning and no one was at the desk to check us out

Bad experience front desk staff rude the continental breakfast was not open at when it says 7 to 10 at 8:30 in the morning. but they say you can walk next-door to get something to eat and tell him you’re staying at this hotel but when you have two little kids, how are you supposed to do that when it’s freezing cold. The pool does not open till 10 AM and your checkouts at 11 so you can’t even use the pool when you have kids with you. The early check in through the website did not work. It didn’t let us and we had to pay $50 to early check-in because your website wouldn’t allow cause they don’t accept third-party apps. and only one towel in the shower with four people how is that even usable? they do not honor online reservations. They want to say they can’t see it on their end of the computer even though it’s through Wyndham‘s website.

The hotel greeter was rude and nasty to me and my family. The heater directions were faded out. Could not get the heat to work. On the third day got another room but the T.V. did not work. The rude staff member refused to wait on me and then told my guest a complaint about down computers and how it wasn't her fault for being rude and nasty. The hotel staff did try to make things better but did not. It was sad because my first trip to this hotel was good but, this trip was very bad. It made my trip not very good.

I'm surprised Wyndham handles these type of properties. They are real dives and destroys whatever positive type of branding your name has driven in the past.

The room itself was as expected from previous stays but the heating unit was super loud and the bathroom ceiling had water damage everywhere and you could hear dripping on the drywall. Definite mold concern there.
The breakfast was always good but this recent stay was bad.
Half the options weren’t available. No yogurt, no hard boiled eggs, warm milk, no bananas, no hot chocolate (it was 30 degrees so that would have been nice), no muffins, the bagels were hard and the bread was stale.
I always loved staying here but this recent stay gives us no choice but to find another go to place.

I've booked with Expedia for decades, and this is the first time I have ever been so disappointed in a hotel that I've had to leave a review. People who give this hotel more than 1 star have not actually stayed there. I've stayed at no name roadside motels that are nicer, cleaner, and more updated than this dump. The staff was not friendly and were on their phones until I spoke to them, at which point it seemed like I was inconveniencing them to do their job. At check in, I asked for a ground floor room but was told the elevator worked. It broke after half my party made it to the 3rd floor. The rest of us are not able to climb that many steps, and it was an argument getting our rooms moved back to the first floor where I requested to begin with. We did try the hot tub. The water looks discolored because the concrete needs a serious scrubbing. It was clean but old. We also couldn't figure out how to access the indoor pool area from inside the hotel. We had to go outside to get into the pool room. In the rooms, there were outlets and lightswitches that didn't work. The last straw and what prompted me to write this was the whole faucet fell off in the tub when my nephew was taking a shower. The bath tub was then unusable because the water shot out of the pipe where the faucet was supposed to be. Breakfast was practically nonexistent. We ended up getting snacks at the 7-11 a block away. Do not stay here if you value your sanity.

Check in, not friendly at all at 10:30 pm. Busy talking to each other. I asked if they had a luggage cart,I knew, been there before and already looked where they are suppose to be. No one wanted to get up off their chair, we carried all our bags in, Room was fine, beds comfortable. Breakfast changed since a few months ago to nothing, Juice,milk, cereal, a complete waste, and why no one was eating breakfast there. No even a waffle maker. This barely made an ok rating. This was a deeply unsatisfactory stay, characterized by significant issues with cleanliness, room maintenance, and customer service.

The condition of the room was unacceptable, appearing neglected and outdated:

Poor Sanitation: The toilet was unclean upon arrival (containing hair).

Dirty Furnishings: The rug and sofa were heavily stained.

Coffee Maker: The coffee maker was unsanitary, missing its lid, and had caked-on dust in the water container.

Lack of Amenities: The room lacked a blanket on the bed and an essential second trash can in the bathroom.

Bathroom Issues: The shower system was in poor working condition.

Security Concern: A significant security oversight was found: the connecting door between our room and the adjacent one was left unlocked and unbolted.

Staff professionalism and engagement were consistently poor throughout the stay:

Lack of Customer Service: Staff members failed to greet guests upon arrival and did not thank us or acknowledge our departure.

Unresponsive Breakfast Service: The staff appeared \"checked out\" and were preoccupied (e.g., on their phones in an adjacent room). We had to locate and bring out the serving bowls ourselves. There was a noticeable lack of attention to replenishing items like plates and bagels, which were in low supply.

The breakfast offered was minimal. The options were limited to cereal, a bagel, and the milk and cream cheese were served at room temperature (warm).

I knew this was an old hotel because I used to stay there with my family but I didn’t expect that after checkin the keys wouldn’t work, in fact almost every time we returned we had to get new keys. The first room had nothing working, tv, fridge, microwave…etc. The plugs were all dead. Second room didn’t even have a microwave. Didn’t discover that the plugs were dead til I tried to plug in the C pap when ready for bed. No fault of the hotel but guests were loud….up all night…no sleep. Can’t imagine what their water bill is since it took forever just to take a lukewarm shower. I’m ok with a bagel for breakfast but thought they should have some milk so kids could have cereal. May want to advise staff that having their phones on speaker is really not professional. Didn’t appreciate that the outside backdoors were left unlocked. Guess you get what you pay for!

We stay here when we do a couples trip because the price is usually right. I mean we know what we're getting at this hotel, however this last stay was particularly bad. We found dried blood on our sheets, my husband went to the front desk to ask for the sheets to be changed and the front office staff told him to go find the cleaning carts himself. Which is already unacceptable. He couldn't find any room service technitians so he had to ask again. When someone showed up with sheets, she actually asked if he would put them on himself, or if he wanted her to do it. We both were just really disheartened by this whole experience, I mean they put on dirty sheets and yet we were made to fix this situation. It is what is is, like I stated earlier you know you are not getting a 5 star hotel, but that seems so be even worse than the bare minimum. I would not pay more than $60/night for this hotel.

The room was okay. The beds are VERY uncomfortable and did not do our backs justice. The front desk ladies were very nice and respectful. The hot tub has discoloring on the concrete making it look green but I was still not wanting to soak in it. However, the water was barely warm. The breakfast, if pastries and cereal is your thing, then it'll be a good time for you. Not hot food. Only one ice machine works on the 3rd floor and we were on the first floor. The rooms don't have a microwave or fridge. It's just bare. Not worth the price they charge.
