Staff was really friendly however rooms can be cleaned better. There were stains on our bathroom floor that looked like it wasn't mopped. The balcony/patio door lock was broke so they had to put a metal bar on it so no one could enter from the outside. Also, the sliding door for the bedroom didn't work. Room was ok for the reason I needed it but not sure if I'd stay again.

The indoor pool was ice cold , when asked about the heated pool the staff stated that the thermostat was broken. Very disappointing! I book the room to indulge in the pool. I feel like I waisted my money and time. I could have stayed at another hotel with a working heated pool.

This place was terrible. Terrible customer service. We woke up yesterday and it was 67 degrees in our room. The heat was set to 76. We tied to raise it and it kept going down. I notified front desk at 11am and was told that maintenance would fix it right away. The TV in the bedroom also had a romote that didnt work. After we got back to the room around 4pm. We found no one had came to the room. This time both myself and my fiance went to the front desk. They apologized and said maintenance would be right up. Maintenance did come and gave us another remote and adjusted the heat. Hot air was coming out and the temperature went up to 73 but it was set to 75. We went out and returned to the room around 10 pm. The room was 70 degrees when we went to bed and the heat was set to 75. When we woke up it was 67 in the room and when i checked out it was 65. Its winter time in NJ and freezing. On one checked on us to make sure things were good.This place gives Hilton a bad name. It was my first time at a Hilton and it will be my last.

While the hotel was well maintained and clean, I have significant concerns regarding the handling of a fire alarm system issue during my stay. Although safety personnel were observed addressing the matter, the issue remained unresolved into the following day. The fire alarm continued to sound intermittently, which raised serious concerns about the reliability and functionality of the system in the event of an actual emergency.
Furthermore, access panels related to the fire alarm system were left open, creating an additional safety and security concern. Given the critical importance of fire safety systems, this situation was unsettling and did not reflect an appropriate level of urgency or resolution. I believe this matter warrants review to ensure proper safety standards are consistently maintained for guests.

I have stayed at this location a few times and it’s always a great stay at Double Tree. My complaint was having a smaller refrigerator in my suit and the screen door was to the balcony was off the track. But we made it work. These were not enough to take away from my stay. I look forward to another stay in the near future.

There was some sort of issues(s) with the fire alarm system. Twice in two days we were awoken and had to leave the building because the fire alarm went off, only to be told we could go back inside after 5 or 10 minutes. We were told it happened a couple of times in previous days. They need to fix this. Otherwise the hotel was good.

The staff was unsympathetic and somewhat dismissive, in my opinion.

Both TVs did not work, called the front desk and they were going to send somebody right away. I waited 45 minutes and finally had to put my do not disturb out so I can take a shower to leave for a wedding. Stopped at the front desk on the way out and they said they have someone look at it. When I get back to my room both TVs were on but no volume. Call the front desk again and the manager came down because all of the maintenance workers had gone home for the day. Could not get you the TV to work so had to switch my rooms this was now 12:15 a.m.. I asked why I was there not maintenance on duty 24 hours and he had no answer. Also the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, did not have a good night's sleep. The manager offered me a free breakfast for the next morning but I already had plans to meet people from the wedding party for breakfast off property. He said this was all he could do for me as my reservation was made on Expedia. Oh well! 😞

Exceptional Staff and Compassionate Service

We were in town for my daughter’s soccer tournament on October 11–12, and unfortunately, my two younger daughters (ages 4 and 2) got sick in the car on the way. We arrived at the DoubleTree in Mount Laurel around 10:30 a.m., hours before check-in, and I was desperate to get my girls cleaned up.

Cathy at the front desk went above and beyond to help — she spoke with her manager, found us a room right away, and treated us with such kindness that I nearly cried from relief. The next morning, after a sleepless night caring for my sick girls, Darryl at the front desk was equally compassionate and immediately offered us a late checkout so my husband could take our older daughter to her game.

Both Cathy and Darryl turned an incredibly stressful weekend into a manageable one. Their genuine care and understanding truly reflect the hospitality Hilton is known for. I was married at a DoubleTree years ago, and once again, this brand exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding staff and service!

We were in town for a quick visit with family. Our room was a King Suite. It seemed newly renovated. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. The shower was great! All furniture seemed brand new. I loved the feather bed pillows. Slept great. Kitchenette included a microwave & full size fridge.
We picked this hotel for the pool to enjoy with our grandchildren. Headed down at 1pm. Pool closed. Asked at front desk & was told it would open at 4pm but they would call us when open. No call but we went at 4 to find it open. Disappointed as pool was ice cold. The hot tub was ice cold. Floor of pool area is very slick so not ideal for the young or old. Kids swam for 10 minutes as too cold for them. At 7pm, staff called to tell me pool was open.
Our room was in section D. The door to hallway was not secure to the outside. Only once did we have to use keycard to enter. Anyone could have entered building.
I would stay here again.

Pool was closed, internet for TV was out, ants in the bathroom, broken towel holder, and they automatically added a 22% tip for a takeout order for 2 meals which is absurd. Actual suites are nice and plenty of room. It was nice and quiet too.

Everyone was very nice. The pool desperately needed to be cleaned. Our room needed a good mopping in the bathroom and the air conditioning did not transfer from the living room to the bedroom unless the doors were open.
It served its purpose but I wouldn’t call it luxury like what Hilton is going for with its Double Tree line.

My stay was business related. The property seemed to be well maintained and room was clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. In three nights stay, my room was never touched by housekeeping. I don’t know if this something that has to be specifically ordered or if they were expecting a tip first. As a business traveler, I shouldn’t have to wasted my time requesting housekeeping services. The room lighting is harsh daylight white and not relaxing. Makes you want to not spend any time in the room. Because of these issues, I probably wil not choose this location for future visits to the area.

It's summer time and temperature outside is above 80 degrees and my room temperature was 85 degrees and up. There was a problem with the air conditioner and they new this and still opened this room. My neice and I both experience nose bleeds because it was so hot. They claim to not have any other rooms available and gave me 2 fans that blew hot air around the room. I've been trying to speak to a manager and have not reached anyone yet.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly,welcoming and accommodating. The rooms and floors themselves were very clean and modern ,they were just very confusing to navigate ,hotel is like a quadrant and you didn’t necessarily get to your room the same way twice.The air conditioning in the one room did not work and interestingly I ran into another guest who told me he originally was assigned that room but the a/c didn’t work so they put him in another room so why they would try to do the same thing without fixing it baffled me .The second room also did not have any a/c and by 3am It was almost 80 degrees in the room and they finally moved me to another room . The breakfast buffet was disgusting and not worth the additional $18.99 but overall it wasn’t bad for an overnight stay.

We had a great experience. I would have gave 4 stars because they did not have the room we reserved, which was the 2 queen bed suite. Room was unavailable due to air conditioner issue. But they did tell us it should be ready the but day, but we didn't follow up. We got king suite instead. Staff were courteous and the property was beautiful, with lots of restaurants and shopping area close by. Delicious food and comfy bed. Loved the pool too, my daughter had a blast

I like the view of the courtyard. Fast service at the Redz restaurant. Guests were quite in their rooms no loud tv/music playing.

The beds are very soft and offer little support. The duvet is covered by two sheets tucked together on the edges which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is very clean but the pool was not checked on and there were eyelashes and hair around it. The staff is quick and responsive.

I only stayed one night here, the staff was very nice. My room was huge. It had a nice living room area separate from the bedroom. They also had a nice kitchenette area as well. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and everything was stocked well. I didn’t do the breakfast buffet so I don’t know if that food was good or not. The only thing I would say I didn’t like was the restaurant Redz had very expensive drinks and they didn’t taste like any alcohol at all

The hotel overall was nice, quiet and clean. Front desk staff wasn't super friendly. The room AC couldnt keep up and the hallways/lobby were extremely humid. We had AC set at 70 and could only get to 75 degrees, with curtains pulled shut/etc.
The pool was large but hot tub was out of service. The pool room was HOT, so be prepared to swim only, not a good place to sit and watch while the family swims, due ro extreme heat and no air flow. The ground were well kept, lots of space and grass and tables and chairs to hang out. Workout room was good as well, nothing crazy but had multiple treadmills and pieces of equipment. Very large bar and restaurant but we did not utilize. Overall it was good for the price.

I could not check in, ac was broken in the facility. I was given the option of a lesser room in a different hotel that would not accommodate my party. No phone call to let me knowand plan accordingly. I only found out when I arrived to check in. I had to drive over 2 hours in traffic and severe thunderstorms to go home with 3yo twins who were not happy!

My stay was very good rules were very clean. I had a little issue with the first room because it was on the first floor and I’m a single woman traveling and I don’t like to stay and they accommodated me by moving me to the second floor. the restaurant was very nice. The food was good. The fresh white clean sheets were very comfortable. It was just an overall great stay best. Part was the warm chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. I will definitely stay

The layout of the hotel was expansive. While the inner courtyards provided a gorgeous view, the downside was that it was a significant endeavor to walk to the front desk which I had to do once because my key's stopped working.

While the rooms themselves were well cared for, our one trip to the pool area ended quickly. The hot tub was lukewarm and hotel staff were unable or uninterested in addressing the problem.

The temp in our room was 80 degrees. Had maintenance come in and he wiggled some wires and said that should work. It didnt. Upon checkout, i mentioned the unbearable conditions. I received a \"sorry \". It was not just our room but multiple rooms of friends that we were attending a wedding with. The only way to get cool air was by propping the door open with ottoman to get cool air from the hallway. Do better Doubletree.

We enjoyed our stay here. The warm cookies which never fail during my business trips were a hit with the family. We needed more towels and were sending our son for mire but the staff said not to worry, they would bring it. My son loved having a king size pull out bed (only one that size during our one week road trip). Loved the bathroom layout and cleanliness.

The only thing me and husband struggled with was the size of the double beds were a full size, not queen. Other than that, everything was great!

The hotel was renovated so everything was nice and modern. The food at the Redz restaurant was surprisingly really good. We went for late lunch and weren’t expecting the food to be good because it was pretty empty. But it was quite tasty. There’s a nice size indoor pool. The room actually seemed like it was thoroughly clean including bathroom, shower, and sink area. There’s a full size refrigerator although no stove so you can’t cook. So that was interesting. But there’s a microwave. The room smelled fresh. Normally I’m grossed out at how stale a room can look and smell. But I wasn’t here. The carpeting in the hotel was very thick and plush throughout. The only thing that I noticed is they don’t use trash bags in the room just a bare trash can so it kind of feels weird to just put trash in. The made to order omelette, waffles and French toast made the breakfast buffet better otherwise it was pretty expensive, $18.95 per adult, $17.95 6-17 yo. Eggo pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, toast, bagel, and oatmeal packs. Overall I loved the hotel, free parking and the scenic property. There are a few restaurants nearby, Starbucks, Walmart at the main light, etc. I would definitely stay again.
