Wonderful stay! Room was extremely spacious with a private balcony which was a plus. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to enjoy the all inclusive for one night; overall a great value. There were a few repairs going on while we were there but we couldn’t have been more pleased with our overall experience. We would definitely stay again.

I’ve had better experiences staying property in the past. This particular trip was less than expected. The food prices increased at the quality of the food has decreased and another issue is the charge of $10 for parking that has been implemented. I understand if they do it for non-guest of the resort but to charge the guest of the resort is unnecessary. The bottom line is to charge more for less will have we reconsider visiting this property in the future?

The bed was hard as bricks. It was very difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. They now charge you ten dollars a day to park in their parking lot. Where else are you supposed to park? You're already paying for the hotel room. It's ridiculous. There is no free breakfast anymore either.

Lights went out, elevator was broken. Hotel smelled burnt and the maintenance crew was hard hammering away by 8 am. We tend to stay here since the hotel pool tends to be clean.

When I reserved for this room I expected to get the room I reserved. Instead when I entered the room that was assigned to me was not with partial ocean view. I went to let the staff know and they were giving me a hard time to change my room for what I had paid. Once they finally gave me the room I expected, I entered the room but the AC was not working so, again I had to go notify the staff ( it was fixed). After retyrning to my room from my day out the key to the room was not working to open the door, I again had to go to the front desk to get another key. I had to contact room service because the showere curtain was removed and not replaced. The bed I had was stained as well as pillow case. I expected better as this hotel is supposed to be \"a 5 star hotel\". I will not reserve there again.

Loved this resort! Nice big rooms. We had partial ocean view looking down the north end of SPI. Ate room service on the balcony. The room service menu had great options and was surprisingly very affordable. They also have all inclusive which is probably the better way to go because it included cocktails, Starbucks and all three meals for $48/day/person. We enjoyed the pool and beach after birding at the Nature Center across the street as well as several other great locations. The beachside bar was the best with the beach view and music, but the poolside bar was great when hanging out at the pool. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. Room was cleaned every day. Didn't use it, but there was a nice kiddy pool with a waterfall. Will still here again!

I guess they had cleaned the floor and left a fan to dry it, it was so slick I nearly fell, I am 78 and a little unstable so it was a big concern. Also it was so dark, not nearly enough lighting. Water pressure wasn't very good either

Booked 2 rooms for a week, they put us on different floors. They agreed to move us closer the next day. Room they gave us then was tucked in a corner with view from the balcony was the blank wall of other wing of hotel. They also had 2 hot tubs outside that were both barely warm

Overlook the beach? Lol I did not expect that view because we didn't pay for it. But I didnt expect to be literally on the roof behind the big hotel pagoda. No view whatsoever. And on our last night there, there was a fire downstairs in an office! The whole hotel was evacuated. Multiple cops and fire engines. Kinda scary. Nah, I won't return there.

We had a great stay here! We loved the direct access to the beach, awesome pool, and the food onsite at Barry’s bistro/beach bar was well priced and some of the best we had! The rooms were cleaned and while not a brand new hotel, they have updated it so it feels refreshed. They are pet friendly so there were lots of dogs, which was a first for us to see so many in a hotel but luckily there was not a ton of barking.

The room we got overlooked a wall and air condition vents. There were dirty bathing suits or underwear on the cement ground. The people above us were feeding the sea gulls so there was a lot of noise and food debris. The air condition in the room was not cooling. I spoke to Josh and he was very apologetic and assigned us another room. The breakfast buffet was good and the price very reasonable. We didn't have a beach view from our room, but we were still able to see a beautiful sunset. I really like the fact that quiet time was observed. Beach access was easy and so were the chair and umbrella rental. Staff was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. Other than the first room fiasco, our stay was good and we will be back.

We got the room with a partial view, but it was great. We saw all the left side of the ocean and woke up to birds chirping. It was so nice. The staff was so friendly and everything was very clean, which made me very happy. We also loved that the property had access to the beach and we were able to rent an umbrella with chairs and enjoy our time.

Hotel was nice and clean, though you can tell it’s starting to age. Pillows were way too soft! Breakfast buffet was ok. Would have loved to have bacon and grits as an option. And also some cut up fruit. There was an option of a whole orange and banana though. Their “Quiet Hours” are from 9pm-8am. Pool and jacuzzi doesn’t open until 9am, which to me, is late when on vacation! If Quiet hours is until 8am, why not open the pool and jacuzzi up at 8am?! Though 9pm is too early to close also. I think 11pm would have been perfect, but 10pm would have been fair! Our room had a partial beach view. It was facing the ocean but the bar downstairs was blocking some of the view. I was a little upset that they wouldn’t extend my reservation an extra hour since we lost an hour because of the time change. Paid 400+ a night for two nights, a week before Spring Break officially started. Check in wasn’t until 4pm and check out was at 11am.

Partial Ocean view was obstructed in my room ,but my BFF room was good. Otherwise the hotel is well kept, great location. Plenty of things to do in the area . Nice pool. Food good prices. Balcony was wonderful, room was large Plenty of moving around space. Very clean, staffed with very friendly people. Had a very good time. I was impressed with the house keeping staff. They cleaned my room every day. I'm from Iowa and they only clean if you ask them to. Wonderful place in general.

We were pleasantly surprised that we had been upgraded to a junior suite on Christmas Day. Thank you! The room was spacious and I probably won't ever go back to a room with \"only\" two queen beds for my family of four soon to be adults! We enjoyed that there were two hot tubs although the day we were there one of the hot tubs was only somewhat warm at best. As far as breakfast, go early as sometimes even before 9:00 they had run out of certain food items. Staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant to interact with. We would definitely stay here again.

Our bed had multiple bugs in it. Not bed bugs but I think silverfish. They were found when waking up from sleeping. I appreciated that they changed our room quickly but I am highly disappointed that a manager would not talk to me about it. The first worker requested that I send pictures of the bugs via email, which I did, and he said a manager would be in contact with me. That never happened. I went down twice and was told he was busy. So disappointed. It is not typical to wake up with multiple bugs crawling on the pillow you are laying on and no one wanted to address it. No one apologized. I never intended to leave a poor review but the idea that a manager never reached out when I left my personal cell with two workers and via email should be unacceptable.
