Good quality hotel close to Parsenn
This is a good quality hotel that is one of the better ones in Davos that is still relatively affordable (is anything really affordable in Switzerland!?). The rooms are fine, the internet is free and works well, the breakfast is excellent. It is easily walkable to the Parsenn (even in ski boots) and is two bus stops from Davos Dorf station. A good bar that opens late!

Very nice hotel would go back
I had a lovely stay here for spring skiing in March. The hotel has friendly English-speaking staff, is in a very conveinent central location, within easy walking distance of lifts and station (with ski equipment). The room was beautiful and clean. Only minor catch was the very dry air which helped all the wet stuff to dry quick but was drying for mouth and airways.

This is a lovely hotel which is kept spotlessly clean. I found all the staff most helpful and genuinely friendly without that plastic approach that some hotel staff have.
I was there to run in the swissalpine race which started at 0700 and they kindly opened early for breakfast at 0500 so we could eat before. In England this request has been left with a blunt NO \"cant do that\" approach on many occasion.
I stayed in a \"comfort room\" which had everything you would need, from bath robe to sewing kit!
The hotel is on a main road in Davos and if the windows are kept closed noise is not a problem, however if open you do hear the traffic but it does not go on all night.
Location is Davos Dorf and is about 10mins into Davos easily walkable.
All in all a smashing hotel and would use it again.

Freundliches Personal, feines Frühstück, schöner Wellnessbereich

Keine 4 Sterne würdig
Am ersten Abend waren wir in der Brasserie essen. Die Karte ist italienisch und hat nichts mit einer Brasserie zu tun. Wir waren zu viert, zwei haben einen Salat vom Büffet gehabt. Kaum hatten sie den geholt, kamen auch schon zwei der vier Hauptspeisen. Also eigentlich zu früh. Nur die anderen zwei Hauptspeisen sind gar nicht gekommen. Nach zweimaliger Intervention wurden die zwei Hauptgänge dann doch noch mal nachbestellt in der Küche und dies nachdem die ersten zwei sicher schon eine Viertelstunde fertig gegessen haben. Es kam auch nie jemand nachfragen ob alles gut sei. Am zweiten Morgen wollten wir um halb Acht frühstücken. Das Brot kam dann endlich um viertel vor Acht. Als wir dann in den Skiraum wollten, war der auch noch geschlossen. Ging dann auch noch mal 5-10 Minuten bis jemand den Schlüssel gefunden hatte zum Öffnen. Am dritten Morgen war dann um halb Acht die Türe zum Frühstücksraum noch geschlossen. 5-10 Minuten später wurde sie dann geöffnet. Depot für einen Bademantel hinterlegen, dass musste ich auch noch nie. Aber das ich das Depot aktiv zurückverlangen muss wenn ich die Bademäntel zurück bringe, finde ich dann doch die Höhe.

Die beiden Restaurants waren hervorragend. Die Einrichtung ist individuell, geschmackvoll und zum Teil hochwertig. Spitzen Küche, sowohl geschmacklich als auch die kleinen Details sind gekonnt arrangiert. Beste Noten.

Reception, non una parola in italiano, staff in generale per niente disponibile. Camera vecchia con bagno, per farsi una doccia, acqua ovunque il doccione completamente rotto. La cena è stata vergognosa, scadente, neanche paragonabile a 1 stella, mi hanno cucinato un risotto completamente crudo, ho reclamato e mi hanno risposto che non erano in grado di rifarlo, mi hanno consigliato un piatto vegetariano, mi sono trovata sul piatto due patate al gratin orrende. Mia figlia di 6 anni ha chiesto il pollo che era nel menù, ci siamo trovati dei pezzetti di pollo cucinati malissimo e un riso anche questo scotto. Tutto, era immangiabile, mia figlia dopo aver pianto, si è dovuta consolare con del pane, anche qui 2 fette alla volta. Tovaglioli di carta scadenti, moquette e macchie di unto ovunque, sala freddissima. Ho reclamato, non si sono scusati. Visto che non era più possibile rimanere, ho chiesto di voler annullare il soggiorno, tutta risposta ho dovuto pagare una notte in più senza usufruirne.. Mai trovato un albergo, così scadente!!!! 4 stelle impossibile!!!

Udmærket hotel, fint værelse, rent og i orden. God service og fint morgenbord. Hotellet er delt i 2 afdelinger, hvorfor man skal 2 etager ned fra receptionen, gennem en lang gang og derefter op igen for at komme til værelserne i den nyere del af hotellet. Ikke for gangbesværede ! Antal af P-pladser svarer slet ikke til antallet af værelser.

Wir waren ja nicht das erste Mal in diesem Hotel, obwohl wir nie ganz zufrieden waren, aber uns geht es einfach darum, dass wir sehen, hat sich was geändert oder nicht...
Also wir waren zu früh, unser Fehler, das Zimmer war leider noch nicht verfügbar, war kein Problem, aber als wir um 15.00 ankamen, waren die Gästekarten auch noch nicht parat, da der Drucker nicht funktionierte.
Zimmer hatten wir ein sauberes und zum Teil sehr schönes! :-) Zuoberst mit Balkon, aber warum wurde noch nie was renoviert ausser das Bad? Ich finde, zu einem 4 Sterne Hotel gehört auch ein wenig Luxus? Mein Mann ist Allergiker, und der Teppich sah halt schon sehr abgenützt aus, uns hat das Badezimmer von der Einrichtung am Besten gefallen...
Das Frühstück.... wir hätten wirklich schon um 07.00 essen sollen, da war sicher noch genug da, aber wir waren ja nicht zum stressen in die Berge gefahren, sondern um uns zu erholen.. um 08.30 war von dem Buffet praktisch nur noch die Hälfte vom Essen drauf, Joghurt wurde nicht nachgefüllt, es gab nicht mal frisch gepressten Saft, schade..., auch der Kaffee schmeckte uns nicht, zum Glück gab es Wasser. Einfaches, zentrales Hotel
An der Eingangstür hängen 4 Sterne. Entsprechend war meine Erwartung hoch. Der Zustand und die Ausstattung des Einzelzimmers waren aber nur 2 Sterne-Niveau. Der Rest des Hotels:Rezeption, Bar, Frühstücksrestaurant waren aber auch nicht mehr als 3 Sterne wert.

Hotel ist gut gelegen direkt an einer Bushaltestelle. Der Zustand des Hotels ist an sich in Ordnung, aber es sollten dringend Modernisierungen durchgeführt werden. Frühstück war sehr gut, Personl immer freundlich. Gepäckraum ohne Überwachung, jeder könnte das dort deponierte Gepäck mitnehmen, ohne dass es bemerkt wird.

In camera ce una minibar ma e vuota... Non ce una radio e il televisore non funziona! Creppe grosse e ragnatele in camera... non e un biglietto da visita per Davos!

Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ausser Hotelempfangsdame am Sonntag 11.10.15 war schwierig, arrogant und unfreundlich beim einchecken. Es tut uns ja leid das wir Ihren Tag unterbrochen haben um einzuchecken. Ansonsten war alles sehr gut. Das Service Personal im Restaurant und beim Frühstücken war dafür absolute spitze!

Het hotel is enorm veminderd in verhouding tot onze vorige verblijven. Duidelijk einde seizoen, gevraagde wijn niet voorradig(2x), geen Gin voor Gin Tonic, 3 dagenlang. Weinig vriendelijk onthaal, voor de rest correct personeel. De glazen op de badkamer werden niet gewassen! In de koelkast op de kamer waren resten van vorige gasten na vier dagen nog niet verwijderd. Het onkruid groeit tussen de stenen van het terras, enz.

Zimmer waren gross und sauber. Service beim Frühstück und Abendessen war schlecht. Erbrochenes eines Kleinkindes wurde vom Personal einfach ignoriert und auf dem Teppich im Speisesaal liegengelassen, bis ein Gast es mit einer Serviette abdeckte. Kaffe am Morgen und Wein am Abend erhielt man nur auf Nachfragen. Das Nachtessen war mittelmässig.

An dem Hotel gibt es eigentlich nichts Gravierendes auszusetzen. Wenige Gehminuten von der Parsenn-Talstation liegt es ideal, Parkplätze sind gleich neben dem Hotel. Der Empfang war unkompliziert, praktisch und freundlich genug. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Trotz der Lage gegen die Hauptstrasse auch ruhig. Das Badezimmer war gross genug, aber eine Renovation würde dem doch eher veralteten Design nicht schaden.
Frühstücksbuffet war nichts Aussergewöhnliches, aber hat alles geboten was man braucht in guter Qualität. Für das Nachtessen sind wir aber auf etwas Günstigeres ausgewichen.
Fazit: Sehr gutes Hotel für ein Skiweekend, vor allem für das nahe gelegene Parsenn. Alles in Allem sind 4 Sterne eher optimistisch, aber gefehlt hat es an nichts. Die Preise mögen ortsüblich sein, bewegen sich aber an der oberen Grenze für dieses Hotel.

Gute Lage aber in die Jahre gekommen
Wir waren für eine Nacht nach Silvester mit Freunden dort. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer in der Dependance sind zwar gross, von der Ausstattung her aber eher einem Dreisterne-Haus entsprechend.
Der Preis war überteuert für das, was das Hotel zu bieten hat.
