Perfect quite hotel at the foothills of the Alps with a perfect Zurich lake view , wonderful spa and gym, with a jacuzzi in open air, open until 22:00 , I had got a lake view room on the1st floor with the exit to the garden, so I can to do practice straight on the ground, I didn't rent a car so I used Uber it's 20 minutes to the center of Zurich and costs 20-30 CHF .I have a good vacation here and would like to come again.

Hotel is a lovely area with transport links. There is a bus a short walk down the hille from the hotel which connects you to a train station. The views are beautiful and the hotel is spotless. Staff are so welcoming and we're more than happy to assist with the many needs we had while we staying. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

We were disappointed in the location of the property. It was 20 minutes away from Zürich, which caused us tremendous expense in traveling back-and-forth in a taxi. The view from our room was spectacular, but there was nothing in walking distance. The food in the restaurant was delicious but extraordinarily expensive with very few choices.

We loved our stay at Hotel Belvoir. I went with my husband and our little toddler. When we arrived at our room, everything was prepared for us including the crib that I had requested at the time of booking. In the crib was a cute little green slippers, blanket, pillow and a Lindt chocolate. I thought \"how thoughtful are they in the little details!\" We felt very welcomed. We arrived at the closes train station then walked up to the hotel with our luggages (we didn't know any better at the time and did not research about if they had shuttles or not) but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Our little one loved the playground at the site and we loved the staff in the restaurant. They were super nice and offered crayons and coloring books to our little one to keep her busy. The amenities were great too! they have a jacuzzi, sauna, infrared, salt room that they offer for relaxing. My husband and I took turns to enjoy these amenities. Overall it was an excellent stay, quiet away from the main city but easily accessible nonetheless.

Overall, the property location was good. Good views. Staff was attentive. However, there were a few things which let it down. Firstly, it was not as clean as I would have hoped, the grouts were really dirty, the hot tub had stains and wouldn’t drain, the shower door was not fully closing and so water would leak out, the plugs to put our chargers in were the opposite way and our plugs simply wouldn’t fit, even with our adapter, breakfast options were very limited. Apologies for all the nitpicking but it is these elements which are key and makes a difference in a persons stay.

However they need to do a better job in the desk and chairs of the rooms; it is impossible to eat there if you order room service, if you want to work on your computer its imposible to sit as well. The desk is just so thin and bad and the thing they put instead of a \"chair\" is horrible and uncomfortable is like a thin working bench.

Modern Swiss Experience With Lake View
We enjoyed our spacious room by Zurich lake. Our room 108 has two large glass doors that open to a large backyard by the lake and after traveling to the Jungfrau Alps, we enjoyed walking barefoot on the grass right outside our luxury hotel room. The modern room is spacious, the lights are high tech, and the cleanliness typical of Swiss hotels is above par. There is a great spa, gym, and yoga room on the 4th floor next to a spa area (sauna, steam bath, hot tub, etc) and the restaurant is great too. It is only 7 klm to Zurich promenade and next door is a wonderful Swiss restaurant (Goosegg) whose owner served us fabulous Swiss food (fettuccini truffles yum! and Viener Schnitzel terrific) and wine. We will come back to this place again!

No air conditioning, it was miserably hot and very humid, room below us had children who were extremely noisy, staff were unable to get it under control. We had dinner, 30 to 40% of my pork chop was raw, my wife ordered the ravioli, we were told there were four, 3 showed up, they were 1\" square reach. Dinner consisted of 1 porkchop, small porkchop, 3 ea 1 inch square raviolis, a medium dinner salad that was tasty two glasses of wine and one cocktail, two slices of tart for dessert complete with the kitchen staff's hair, all for $150.00. The rolls were not freshly baked, they were steamed to soften up and tasted it. The wine was fantastic, they don't know how to make U.S. cocktails, a vodka tonic with lime was a stretch, and ultimately showed up with a lemon. they ran out of the Chardonnay my wife ordered on the first night and told us on a successive night that they didn't stock any Chardonnays, to which my wife pointed out the Chardonnay on the wine menu, the waiter replied that that was the wrong menu and that wine was discontinued,,,,????? Did that even make sense,,, he was able to recommend a wine that my wife enjoyed, he knew wines if not his menu. My after dinner Port was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. Nice view, wouldn't stay there again for 1/2 of what we paid. It was clean and the coffee machine in the room ended up making the best coffee we had in Europe.

The Belvoir is a wonderful, clean and peaceful hotel overlooking the Lake of Zurich with the Alps looming in the distance. Their outdoor seating area is a plus. The room's complimentary mineral water and coffee made sitting on my balcony to enjoy the view more pleasurable.

The hotel was clean but more of a business hotel- we were in Zurich for a romantic getaway. Public transportation of bus 165 was great but it took 30 minutes to get into the city to do anything. The restaurants in site were good but very expensive. Beautiful views made it worth staying at this location.

This hotel has an excellent view of the lake, however the climb up is very steep but it’s worth the hike in my opinion.
Only negatives with this hotel is the bed, it’s not a very comfortable sleep and both my partner and I woke up with shoulder and hip pain. Also in our room (404) the water didn’t get hot when we used the jacuzzi bath so we had to keep refilling it every 10 mins to keep it warm enough to use.

Average Experience for the Swiss Quality hype
Our Stay was just OK. We stayed in a Panoramic room so the view to the Zurich lake was amazing but thats just about the only thing. The rooms were arranged in such a way that they felt smaller than they were and very little space left to walk and arrange 3 of our suitcases. We arrived quite late and there were no baby cribs available. you should let the hotel know in advance if you want one. quite surprising that such a big hotel only has 3 baby cribs. the hotel tried to help us with a single mattress which I appreciate. the service was just average and the staff didnt seem super friendly as I would expect from swiss hospitality. We were not helped for our luggage nor at the check-in or the checkout where they called us 4 times to leave the room at dot 12 Noon. i wouldnt stay here again but if you want the view at a decent price please push the staff and hotel for whatever you want in advance and make sure it happens.

We loved this hotel. Those hotel gives you more than you expect and more! What great value for money. Some of the lovely touches were the Nespresso machine in our room, lovely Orange juice daily, wonderful receptionists - so lovely and friendly, we felt right at home.
The rooms are wonderfully set out with spectacular views of Zurich lake. The hotel is really modern and clean with a variety of of other services available to its guests, including a gym, a wellness centre, restaurant, bar, a car for our use and bowling facilities!

Room was clean and larger than most European hotels with a breathtaking view of Lake Zurich from our bedroom and the balcony. The Fitness Center and Spa is awesome with every amenity available.
The restaurant in the hotel with a lake view has good food. The town is quiet with not much activity but Zurich is 10 minutes away by bus and car and has a lot of natural beauty to offer.
