Opened in late 2016, the three-star Swiss Night by Fassbind offers 51 modern, Swiss-style rooms. Each room features air conditioning, a minibar, safe, coffee/tea facilities, iron and ironing board, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and toiletries.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and a business corner with a printer is located in the lobby. The uniquely designed rooms offer a quiet retreat in central Zurich, promoting restful sleep with brand new beds.
A spacious work desk is also provided. Guests enjoy free access to the fitness room during opening hours.

The hotel is conveniently situated near restaurants and the river. The gym had no weights so we did not use it. Rooms are small and there was no AC but that was probably due to it being in October. We opened the windows and were fine. Overall it was a convenient good hotel.

The hotel was cute, but dated. The room was HOT the entire stay - very little control over temperature (up or down 3 degrees). The light over the bed was large and literally taped to the ceiling which was a bit unnerving. Outlets are scarce and oddly placed around the room. They did have a little fan in the room what was great, though it provided little relief overall.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean and suitable for a single guest, and the reception staff were very friendly — especially the team member on the morning shift who was always helpful and welcoming. However, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again for two main reasons. First, the location, while quiet, is in a residential area with very little around. It’s quite far from the main attractions — about a 30-minute walk to the central station, which is challenging for an older solo traveler. Although a tram stop is nearby, it’s still not ideal if you have luggage. Second, the lack of air conditioning was a major issue during Zurich’s early June heatwave. Opening the windows only brought in a swarm of mosquitoes, making it hard to sleep. I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience in the future.

They don't even clean used coffee cups. However, the receptionist is helpful to provide the replacements when request is made. I don't think they vacuum the carpet. However on the last day of my stay, all these were done rightly after I seriously complained the poor housekeeping to the receptionist.
The reception is open from morning to 10 pm.
Save for the above, the room was nice and pleasant. For the advice reasons, it was not a value for money deal, as rooms were available around the same price in the vicinity in standard hotels.

Was about a 10 min walk to the train or to the river where all the shops and restaurants are. Perfect for a few days. Only ding was a very small elevator to the top floor which could only fit 2 people w/o luggage. Also the 5th floor has slanted ceilings you could ding your head on (which I did a few times as someone over 6ft). Overall great though!

The shower door in the room wouldn't close. The carpet smelled old and moldy, when brought to staff attention nothing was done. The state of hotel doesn't reflect a high price that we ended pay per day. The only that was good was the location and proximity to city center.

Room on the smaller side with an AC that barely works. Luckily it wasn’t exceptionally hot, but I can see during a heat wave as being very uncomfortable. Some nights I slept without sheets. It also got weirdly humid and had a smell of mildew. The walls are really low so if you’re over 6’ I would book somewhere else. The beds were alright, not terribly comfortable but not bad either. Basic TV with two stations in English. Can’t stream or connect. Like most things in Switzerland, it’s honestly over-priced for what you get but not as bad as some other options.

We had such a lovely stay at Swiss Night by Fassbind! The rooms were a great size, very comfy with lots of amenities. There really is no parking, and to park there it's 25CHF a night. The only major issue I had was at night, the front door was locked. It was only about 9/10pm, and I needed to go out to my car and the door was locked from the inside and outside. No one at the front desk, there was a number to call. I ended up finding a back door where I had to walk around the hotel to the front. It was super dark walking around the back and needed a flashlight to be able to walk. I don't know why the door would not be able to be opened from the inside. Fire hazard. You can use your key to get in the front entrance, you just can't leave lol.

We stayed 2 nights over the New Year at this cute boutique hotel on a quiet, residential street, but within easy walking distance of the old city of Zurich, and Lake Zurich. We drove down but parked our car (25 per night) and didn't move it again until checking out.
The location was perfect, a 10 min walk from the opera house where we saw a performance our first night, and 10-20 min from the heart of Zurich's old city, depending where you're going, for tourist activities, sightseeing, or enjoying the New Year's Eve festivities all around town. Luckily the rooms have very sound-proof windows, so our dog was fine on NYE, even with all the scary fireworks going on outside!
The hotel is modern yet traditional, with a fun Swiss cow theme throughout. Check-in & out was smooth, and the front desk staff were all helpful and nice. We didn't have cleaning service for our short stay but the maid did offer us fresh towels and toiletries if we needed. There is a small but decently-equipped fitness center, with a treadmill, recumbent bike, some free weights (though several were missing their size mate) and an all-in-one weight machine.
The only negative we experienced was the shower head, which wouldn't fit properly in its holder because of its weight, so you had to hold it during the whole shower. Super annoying, but I don't know if that was just our room or bad design overall.

The hotel was nicely renovated with clean room, comfortable bed, electric kettle, refrigerator ... etc. While the location is a bit off center, the musium is just near-by, lake shore area is not really far away and it has a good access to tram system to go around the city. Only negative part was our check-in. It took unexpectedy long time.

We loved the décor, location and cleanliness of the hotel. My 2 teen age daughters and I stayed in one room and it was very spacious compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our 6 night stay in Switzerland. It is in a beautiful quite residential neighborhood about an 8 min walk from Stadelhof station which is very convenient. It was an 18 minute train ride from their directly to the airport which was easier, quicker and less expensive than other options. It is a 4 minute walk to a major art museum walk that we enjoyed and about a 20 min walk to the Old Town. The tram is 4 minutes away if you prefer not to walk. We were there during a heat wave and the air conditioner in the room was WONDERFUL particularly since a lot of stores and hotels in Zurich do not have air conditioning. My only suggestion/complaint is that management should have a mobile AC in the reception area- it was very hot during check in/ out and I felt badly for the staff and an AC in that area would be keeping with the high standards of the property. It was our favorite hotel in Switzerland and we will be back or to it' sister hotel in Lausanne! Can't say enough good things about the property.
