Room was very large and well-appointed, especially for Europe. Great location - easy walking to everything plus good restaurants and food stores nearby. Impressive breakfast - don’t need lunch the days we were there. Staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Amit.

Breakfast variety was great, healthy and fresh. Room is nice with big TV. Location is excellent, near the Christmas market and old town. Only wish will be to have slippers in the room and a conditioner. :)

A few things I’d like to mention about our stay:
•The elevator was out of service during our stay, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs.
•The flooring in the room made quite noticeable squeaking noises.
•The room’s window had very poor noise insulation, and outside noise and street car was quite audible.

On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast team worked hard to keep everything well-stocked and organized.
Overall, the main issue with this hotel is the condition of its facilities — the flooring and windows could really use some renovation.

Good location, clean, basic hotel

This is a well-located, slightly better than no-frills hotel, more like a bed and breakfast with food but no maid or other services. It's five minutes to the lake and train station, on a street with several restaurants and shops. A small but varied range of breakfast choices was offered; coffee and other beverages were available all day (alcohol on an honor system). The room was spacious, if sparsely appointed. The bed was quite comfortable. I was grateful they loaned me a power adapter when I realized I had bought the wrong kind.

Clean hotel, contactless entry/parking, make sure to write down door code because nobody is there at checkin to help. Breakfast was excellent with great attention to detail. Parking was arranged in advance and next to hotel.

Staff very helpful, would go out of way to help the clients, very safe area and transport just almost outside, THEY MUST RE-ARRANGE ROOM, Sink in the room(no). Would stay again but in different toom. We had premium double room with balcony, its a one room and sink in the room, although, it did show in pictures.

I had a very good experience staying there for my solo trip. The interior is very clean. The staff member Mina was very attentive and made some arrangements for me because I couldn't enjoy the breakfast due to the early train schedule next morning. I'd recommend it.

A nice boutique hotel

A very nice hotel within walking distance from the old town (10-15 min).
Absolutely fantastic breakfast with a lot of choices!
It definitely has a special character.

A little expensive (25 franks per night) parking behind the building, but it’s Zürich.

It would be nice if hotel provides guests with Zurich card (free transportation, discounts in museums and shops).

Please pay attention that you need to contact hotel in advance if you arrive after 1 pm, there is nobody at reception. They will send you an instruction for self-checkin.

This was one of the worst and most expensive stays we have ever had. It was unbearably hot and humid in the room. It was not clear in the hotel posting that there was no AC. At the end of July/beginning of August in 100 degree heat this should be stated clearly and immediately prior to booking. At the very least there should be a discount on the room price offered for this huge inconvenience that almost ruined our holiday. For $300 this was ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Fans barely helped.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed, in the name of self check in no help or service. The rooms felt like a furnace, extremely hot. They have a non functioning AC. Not the greatest area either. definitely not worth the price. They charged an additional $100 for a rollaway bed. If they are charging extra then they should have the courtesy of giving at least a fan. None of us could sleep for even a minute.

Well located, quiet, great breakfast and comfy room. We loved our stay and team #2 which stops in front of the hotel goes straight to the letzigrund where we were going :). Close to all shops and bahnhof stresse but still quiet. Fabulous place!

I am so glad that we chose this place to stay. The staff were very communicative about our parking needs. Parking is very tight, but they gave great instructions on how to find it. The hotel was very nice and modern. Staff were very helpful, and they served a good breakfast. It was in a great location - close to restaurants, shopping and transportation system.

NI-MO is located very convenient center of Zurich city center. Tram is only 2 minutes away, train station is 7 minutes walk, restaurants & shops within 5 minutes walk.
Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast and fresh coffee & drinks 24 hrs.
The only problem is the floor makes too much squeaky noisy, other than that I would recommend this hotel to all.

A friendly welcome and a spotlessly clean hotel. Well positioned in the city with both tram and train links very close by.
Breakfast was a revelation in a city where food is hugely expensive. This was not to be belittled. Homemade meusli, fresh fruit and the usual selection of cold meats and cheeses .

Mina was such a delight- super sweet and was the highlight of our stay. Thank you, Mina!
The location was fantastic - easy to walk everywhere. Room was ok - bathroom, shower and sink were in the same room as bedroom so no privacy.
Air conditioner was a stand alone machine that had a tendancy to leak water if the hotel-provided water bottle to collect excess water fell over.
Breakfast was so-so - it was abundant but the quality wasn't great. Cups were dirty, too.

Unfortunately, I was bitten by bedbugs in the two nights we were there. I initially thought it was spider bites but confirmed with a doctor upon returning home that all the bites (all along the right side of my body) was from bed bugs.

Hotel NI-MO had the most friendly staff we encountered on our Switzerland trip! Lovely breakfast spreads everyday. There were even small snacks available 24/7. Our room was clean and smelled nice. Great room size! The portable air conditioner was so helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

An excellent property well located near the Opera House. Walkable for the entire center of Zurick The room is spacious though a bit spartanly furnished. The common area room where an excellent breakfast is served is also available for use during the rst of the day, making for a quite comfortable space to do task work or enjoy a beverage and snack. This is a very nice touch.
The surrounding area is a vibrant mix of eateries and shoppes - and the lake is a mere two block distant.
Parking is the usual challenge associated with the downtown of a major international city. A nice alternative to you typical hotel expierience.

The staff at Ni-Mo were gracious and friendly, and the hotel was really well located and clean. It was advertised as being air conditioned, however, but it turned out that they didn’t have enough portable at units for each room and as we arrived during a heatwave my sons’ room was only supported by fans blowing hot air on them. They were exceptionally hot. But, as most Swiss we’re also suffering during this heatwave, it seems a minor thing to complain about. The price was good, the amenities were more than adequate for the short stay. We were quite happy with Boutique Hotel Ni-Mo and would recommend it to others without reservation.

Stole our stuff. Dirty & room smelled like smoke

They stole my son’s hoodie with a very important toy in it. Room smelled like smoke badly, no air-conditioning and shower dirty & moldy.
I would not recommend this place. Pay a little bit more and stay elsewhere.
Room: good size but smelled like smoke, and was 30 degrees C in the room with no Air conditioning (they did provide it on the 2nd night but we couldn’t run @ night because it had to vent outside and needed to keep the door open and we got bit by mosquitoes). Shower was super DIRTY and moldy and our room had the shower and bathroom outside the room. Our room faced a courtyard looking into an office building which was quiet.
Conveniences: not much was provided which was ok, but I would have liked a little fridge in the room.
Comfort: become it was hot, at night it was kinda hell. Literally. After they stole from us I felt uncomfortable being there and I felt like I had to lock everything including my tooth brush. So… bad vibes.
Location: really great location close to tourist area, shops and restaurants. You do have to lug your luggage 1/2 flight of stairs before you get to the elevator.
Breakfast: it was ok. Nothing special but we were fine with it.
Staff: nobody was there at checking. Which was fine. When I brought to the attention that my stuff was stolen, the woman I spoke to just said that there isn’t anything to do, it’s my word against the cleaning staff.

Missed my first day of stay due to travel delays but the room wasn’t available at arrival yet… parking nearby is $40-$50 for 24hrs. Staff is pleasant, breakfast was simple but with variety. Very secure facility. Would help having fridge inside rooms.

A little gem close to the Opera

I was here for one night and wished l could have stayed longer. It is in a great location, close to the operahaus and a block away from the lake. It’s a small boutique hotel, and the rooms look definitely like on the pictures on the website: Cozy, design, a nice wood floor. My Key take away from my stay ?
- the bed was incredibly firm And comfortable. Perfect form me.
- the breakfast was a lovely, tasty experience with a lot of fresh and high quality products.
- The team and l guess l met you Eva (such a nice person).

I will definitely come back next time l have the chance to fly again to Zurich

Be aware that front desk is not always open. The hotel does however send a detailed self check-in information upon booking.

It was too hot during our stay and the fans in the room hardly cooled the room. It was so suffocating we had to open the windows and sleep. But then all the noise from the street of the trams and cars was coming straight to the room so couldn’t sleep all night

The hotel staff are very friendly. The location is excellent too. They provide free flow of coffee and mineral water (and even free ice cream) at the lounge area which is very good. However, there is no air-conditioning in the room, so it’s quite warm during my stay as I came during summer. There is a stand fan provided in the room but it’s still warm. Other than this, everything is excellent.

We stayed at Hotel Ni-Mo for 4 nights. What we liked about it was the proximity to the town centre, public transportation. They had some nice amenities like complimentary water, ice cream bars, chocolates. The breakfast buffet was limited, not the best compared with the other hotels we stayed in during our European trip. Comfort was rated fair largely due to the noise from the room floors which creaked loudly with each step, waking each other up in the night or early morning. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms and breakfast area was also a factor in rating for comfort. Staff was relatively friendly.
