Room was clean for the most part. Only issue really was no room at the pool/Hot tub was packed out every evening. You pay for parking only if you get in late there isn't any parking. $30/night for there to be no parking is kind of insane. Staff was nice tho. Overall a decent affordable place to crash at night.

The breakfast was absolutely horrendous. If you’re staying for the breakfast, don’t do that. The fact that you have to pay an extra $30 to park that’s not really mentioned on their website is also ridiculous. The staff was really fantastic although they came to clean our room and there was a huge ring around the bathtub that sat there for two days. Our bathroom was set up so far that we couldn’t reach the toilet paper and we had to put it on the back of the toilet, which is not the biggest deal except we were too grown adults so if you had kids or elderly in that room, they wouldn’t be able to make it work. The outdoor pool had wet, dirty towels, everywhere and no clean towels anywhere.

Staff was friendly and our room was comfortable but what made the experience terrible was upon trying to use one of the elevators on our floor, the door almost shut on my partner as they were going in to the elevator. We stepped back and again the elevator door almost closed while I was about to go in. We let someone at the front desk know about it but my companion now has a big bruise on her forearm from where the elevator door hit her. That incident unfortunately will not be having us come back in the foreseeable future.

All tvs and hdmi cords unhooked from the 2 tvs. Called office supposed to send someone 45 mins later i decide to pull out dressers to hook myself. Reception was friendly, the rooms smelled like sweaty socks and it felt dirty. If I touched the floor for any reason to pick up something I had dropped you can instantly feel the nastiness of the rugs. They would come everyday just to tightly up the bed sheets for the adult beds the bunk bed was always messy. We never received any restocks on the shampoo nor clean sheets, nor clean towels or anything else. Every night we heard noises from the air conditioners and the vents. Not satisfied with the stay and don’t think I would stay here again.

The room was clean, and neat. We had a suite for 2 adults and 3 kids. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was perfect for free and variety. The jacuzzi was clean and lovely. The pool was clean but not heated. The only issue was you have to pay for parking. That's new to me. In all my years, you never had to pay for parking at the hotel you've paid for. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again. Well worth the convenience and location for a large family on a budget.

Our room only had warm water (middle setting). There was no hot. It was cold on both ends for the shower. Not only that, when we got to our room, there was no shampoo, conditioner, hand soap nor lotion. This is not typical compared to our past Best Western stays. We do like the bunk beds option for the kids!

There was no water in the lobby to drink, Used the hot water to make Tea on night and the Hot water wasn't even luke warm. One morning they ran out of hot breakfast food. The room had no where to hang wet towels in the bathroom. Also there wasn't a luggage stand to use in the room.

My bed sheets had stains everywhere .. carpet probably hasnt been vacuumed before .. crack heads all over the outside of hotel .. when i told them to clean my room i came back from zoo 7 hours later and the only thing they cleaned was empty the garbage from bathroom. Our room furniture felt dusty. Pillows were super flat and we needed to ask for extras just for some plush. Breakfast was not great. They ran out of sausage 30min early and did not plan to make more. Sitting area was nasty and we needed to wipe down our table. Not a great experience as we had hoped.
The parking was great since it was near the elevator. Elevator was under construction so it was messy in there.

The room was okay. The amenities could be improved. They say it is a full breakfast but there were basic food missing like fruits (bananas, apples). They have couple of apples and oranges left and once they were finished they never added more fruits. The cupcakes were bad, probably sitting there for couple of weeks unused. Overall, the price of room is over-priced considering the basic amenities and facilities.

The hotel is in the process of updates which need done. The breakfast was great and the staff there were wonderful. The front end ladies were wonderful to deal with both Jessica and Ashley. The cleaning staff need a little more trainer as things were not the greatest. We were out of shampoo and cream rinse when we checked in. I also was upset when our beds were not made properly

DO NOT STAY HERE. We did not stay here more than 5 minutes and they refused any kind of refund on our 3 night stay. We still left!!! We experienced what appeared as people living out of the other rooms, my husband put his hand on an old eye contact on the counter. I accidently touched some kind of slime left on the nightstand. My son kicked an old sock and stepped in maybe some orange playdoh that was left in the room. The whole hotel was falling apart. They wanted $26 for parking/night with no gates or security. There were broken down cars from people living there. The supervisor was suppose to call us at 11pm and 5 days later we still have heard nothing. We ended up going down the road to a different Best Western which was the best decision ever. They advised us to call corporate because this hotel was known for being EXTREMELY SKETCHY and gives Best Western a bad name. There was not one other guest parked there other than the ones living out of it. DO NOT bring your family here!!

Our initial room was clean, but the hallway had a strong, unpleasant smell. Fortunately, the general manager was incredibly kind and quickly moved us to a recently renovated room in another hallway, which made a big difference. Breakfast was good, with just enough options to satisfy both adults and kids. The location is very convenient—close to downtown, the San Diego Zoo, and SeaWorld. There’s plenty of parking available, but keep in mind that it comes with an additional fee.

1. The front desk ladies were all friendly and helpful.
2. Room amenities were short: first night we were short of the conditioner; second night we ran out of the tissue paper. Frustrating.
3. The room facing the highway was noisy at night.
4. Breakfast was supposed to open till 10am on weekends. But they ran out of most items around 9am. And the staff pretty much closed the cafe around 930am, only serving toast and coffee/cereal. Sad...

Our room was right across the freeway so all night we're could hear cars just passing by. Was not great! Breakfast was okay ( eggs weren't fresh cracked)). Staff was friendly even though there was some misunderstanding in my booking. Will go back if I know my room will not be across the freeway! Parking is $26. There is free street parking hopefully you'll find a space.

The employees were nice and the manager Val was good with trying to solve the plethora of issues we ran into, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. Do not even bother trying to deal with the GM manager Kerry. She is one of the most unpleasant people we have come across. The issues started out with them selling our original room to another guest. We drove from 10 hours away to take my daughter to the zoo for her birthday. Didn’t get there until 1am and were completely exhausted. $700 later after checking in and we found out it was a smaller downgraded room. We called the front desk and were told “sorry, nothing we can do about it, we’re sold out and no we cannot refund you the difference in price.” Then the problems just started stacking after that. The previous guest had taped cups to the sprinklers so they could smoke inside. It was filthy and smelled musty. Luckily we were able to switch rooms the following day, but ran into another issue with the AC breaking and once again were met with “there’s nothing we can do sorry” So my kids and I had to suffer in a stuffy 80 degree room all night long. That room was also dirty. Found fake fingernails and makeup on the floor. When we brought all of this up to Kerry the GM we were met with hostility and sarcasm like we should be grateful it wasn’t worse! This hotel has no integrity. The parking fee posted on Hotels.com is significantly lower. I confirmed this fee both at check-in and again at check-out with the front desk manager.However, I was surprised to find that I was charged way higher parking fee per night when I later received the bill online.

When I called the hotel, they blamed the incorrect information on the third-party website and refused to acknowledge that this rate had been agreed upon at both check-in and check-out at the hotel. I will never book a hotel under this company again in the future.

No pool towels available. When asking front desk person for towels, he said: there’s towels out there - even though there aren’t towels. Hot water: none; have to have the sink faucet and shower run for 20 mins to get hot water. Cockroach in the bedroom crawling on the wall. Parking is $26/night - parking is NOT included. They charge a $100 pet deposit - however NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED; SERVICE ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED either.
