Friendly staff and luxurious room. Perfect after traveling internationally. Had a layover for a connecting domestic flight and the shuttle was handy. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Did not hear anything from our room. Had a nice breakfast prior to leaving. Highly recommend.

The pros:
-Checkin staff was very helpful
-Room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Great atrium area where we could eat in
The cons:
-Curtains in our room were broken, so we couldn't darken the room at night. Once we put enough force to get the curtains down, they wouldn't go up, so we couldn't get light during the day
-Thin walls- could hear the TV all night from the room next door.
-Pool and gym regularly out of towels. asked them to replenish and they said they couldn't, because they were all in the wash. So our kids would just have to walk dripping from the pool back up to the room.

Staff was friendly, but the checking line signs were clear enough, so that there was an idot white male accusing I had cut the line. The front desk lady nicely told him to back off, but still signs should help in this case.
Moreover there was mold in the sprinkler and bathroom.

We booked there overnight because we have stayed there before to take an early flight the next morning to SFO. The staff was very cooperative, we had a lovely dinner, relaxing, and a quiet room for sleeping. We will definitely do it again.

Room was lovely- wasn’t impressed with restaurant and food choices or the pool (didn’t even see it). Staff was great. We were there on just a one day layover and for that it was fine. Not best choice for any stay longer than 1 night layover in SF.

This hotel has been around for at least 40 years and continues to be a solid choice for a SF layover or business stay. Long gone are the days of Knuckles sports bar, but if you need a good night’s sleep and a professional hotel staff, this is the BEST hotel on hotel row in Burlingame.

Shuttle service was a disappointment. Following a 14-hour flight we waited at the SFO hotel shuttle station for more than 30-minutes, watching other hotel shuttles make multiple stops, and, finally resorted to taking a cab to the Hyatt

The property is excellent. As was the staff. I did have a problem with a drunken, noisy couple in the adjacent room, but hotel management resolved the problem by moving me to a nicer, quieter room.

I was still a bit upset in the morning, but the manager offered me breakfast. It was such a wonderful experience I left extremely happy!

I very much disliked that there is no way to get fresh air into our hotel room. All “balcony” looking windows did not open, sealed shut. The air was never fresh. It gave me headaches. Overall the hotel is noticeably old although you can’t tell in the pictures. We parked our Mercedes in the garage to keep it out of the rain, it is not considered a tall car but since the garage bumper indicating the height limit of the garage hung far too low, lower than the garage itself, it scratched up the roof of our very expensive car. Leaving us very unsatisfied with the garage. Normally we use valet and were surprised when we found out valet stopped operating during 2020, never to restart again. The garages also, were very dirty. Old leaves and debris everywhere.

Ive stayed here before and have enjoyed it. No complaints. This trip, however, i realized the AC in the room was not cooling anything down. Blower worked but air was not cold. Did not sleep before a long trip when we really needed to.

Hidden Hotel Fees and Tourist Fee

Was not expecting all of the additional charges! Ended up paying an extra $300 for only 3 nights… checked out early.

$50 for parking every day…$25 tourists fee per day and all these other crazy fees on top of the big rate I had already paid…. Was not expecting that.

Best place to stay the night before boarding a plane out of SFO, and best parking around. However, rooms are a little dated, with no recent renovations to bathrooms, etc. Noisy hallways. The worst for me was that the shower was not super hot!!

Everything was great except the airport shuttle—which is absolutely critical infrastructure for an airport hotel.

It took over an hour to get a shuttle and to the hotel from the airport.

The ride to the airport was only slightly better. The shuttle van had almost no luggage storage so once it was full, people with luggage had to wait for for a second shuttle, another 30 minutes, to get the next shuttle.

That’s not ok and needs to be resolved immediately. They should have had Ubers or taxis in place to deal with it.

Hotel Shuttle: During times where the shuttles are supposed to come every 15 minutes, there were times where I waited 30-45 minutes for one.

For a brand such as Hyatt regency this hotel looks like it hasn't been updated for 100 years. Very old , very drab very uninspiring hotel to be in . Very ordinary but did the job for an overnight stay close to the airport
Positive was the food which was good despite the restaurant being boring . Also the shuttle was good
