The staff is not very professional the rooms are not up to par for what they're charging people stay there, also the website does not say anything about a double charge for $100.00 deposit. The locks don't lock good on the doors at all, they do not have a refrigerator to keep your food cold or a microwave to warm up your food, also they don't have a hot water dispenser and they don't offer complimentary breakfast or coffee in the morning it's not worth the money...

The iHOP is convenient. Having an airport shuttle was helpful. But we waited nearly an hour for it. When i tried to call to get info about what the shuttle looked like (green, blue, blck, yellow, etc, no one answered, causing frustration. I am a Wyndam Rewards member but didn't have my number with me. The desk clerk didn't offer to look it up for me or let me know that is not information to which she had access, The room was in building 7, a long way through a dimly lit parking lot. It felt unsafe. Coming back from iHOP, I tripped and fell, injuring both knees, both palms, my right shoulder and chin. My glasses also hit, causing small, superficial scratches. All furniture in the room was in tough shape.athere were no tissues or lotion in the room. All in all, I cannot recommend your location and would not stay again.

When I travel, I usually book budget hotels near the airport, so I have reasonable expectations. I never had a bad experience, but I was deeply disappointed by my stay here.

To start, the hotel is a maze. I arrived at 11pm exhausted after travel eager to sleep, but simply finding / walking to the room felt like it took 10 mins. They assigned me building 7, which is the furthest from the lobby entrance. Plus all outdoors. As a woman alone, I felt unsafe.

When I found my room is when the real horror starts... if I recall my room was 7106. When I got there, THE DOOR WAS ALREADY UNLOCKED and the TV ON. No remote to be found to turn it off. I felt like I was in a horror movie and someone would jump out at me.

LUCKILY, nobody was there, but to me, it indicates someone HAD been there. I could have entered a very unsafe situation. After entering cautiously, I found that the carpet floor was soaking wet. A huge puddle, I have photos. As a young woman traveling all by myself and arriving late at night to a hotel room like this, I was absolutely terrified, but I needed sleep before work & lacked options.

However the front desk lady was extremely helpful. She put me in a nicer room much closer to the main lobby. My problem remains the fact that I walked into a dirty, wet hotel room with signs someone had been there. Why did the staff not know the room looked like this? Makes you question the hotel’s cleanliness & safety. Given my experience, a small refund would be appreciated.

They claimed to have a restaurant but they don't, its a IHOP next doors, horriable food greasy tastless food, Got there early because of flights and they wouldnt let me check my bags the girl at the front desk told me that they were full, no more room I'm stuck in the lobby for 4 hours couldnt leave because I had my bags, then someone else comes in and they take their bags why because someone else took their bags and they didnt tell me, what a ..... I had to complane and make a seen before they would take my bags, then I found out their restaurant was a IHOP...

This is the only hotel I've ever left in the middle of my stay. I'm not picky or snobby about hotels at all and I've lived in rough neighborhoods my whole life but the place did not feel safe. The first room I was assigned to didn't have keys that worked. The second room I was moved to reeked of cigarette smoke. The pillows were tiny and the whole place just felt like something out of a criminal minds episode. The staff were friendly and I'm sure the shuttle would have been helpful if I had needed it, but I didnt as I had my car. I did not feel safe leaving my car parked in the parking lot and ultimately decided to stay at The Atrium up the street which was much much nicer (still a cheap motel, but not a "im gonna get murdered here" cheap motel).

The location of the place is excellent, it gives quick access to the 101 freeway, restaurant, and other places. Since this is a big hotel the parking at night it not easy to find. It place seems to be safe, and noice level was good. I did not like that the rooms is not clean , when I arrived the room small like a dog was there. I asked the staff to check the room and it did not happen. I asked twice for rooms services and it did not happened. I have to leave one day early, because I requested fresh towels and it did not happen. The room was not painted, it seems old and no maintenance is given. After my staffing there I realized that this place is for one night use, not for several days. I believe that place serve its purpose. thank you.

We booked this property as a transit hotel. The free shuttle was punctual, which we were happy about. The property is close to SFO airport, but in need of some TLC,quite run down. The beds were comfortable, and interior of room was clean. Front desk staff were adamant that check in was 3pm, not a minute earlier. We arrived at 2.45 and ourselves and other guests made to wait until 3pm on the dot, seems a little excessive! It met our needs and the price was right.

The person at the front desk was very helpful when we decided to not stay . She said she'd refund us as the room was horrible. Stains, dirty, damaged walls, damaged vents, just nasty. Yes it's cheap, but it should still be clean and maintained. This is far from it. We left to another hotel.

The parking situation is not ideal it’s very hard to find parking by your room so you probably will have to walk to your room even the back lot was super packed. The location is idea 15 minutes from the main city and has a lot of food and stores about 5 minutes away. The rooms are like any other motel. This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. It was the type of place where you’re afraid to touch anything because it’s so grimy. We were just looking for a place to sleep before the airport and given the outrageous prices in the area I assumed it would be decent. It was not. We legitimately considered just sleeping in our car.

This will be the last time I stay at a Travelodge. The price was the only thing going for it. It was grimy and rundown inside and out. It was a No Smoking room, but it reeked of marijuana smoke. The shower was so bad that my wife refused to use it. There was no chair in the room -- not even at the desk. In the morning, I discovered a very small bug on the sheet. I'm no expert, but I think it was possibly a bedbug. After I returned home, I left my luggage and clothes to cook inside black trash bags in my backyard, just to be safe.

Travelodge in South San Francisco either needs some serious money for renovation, or it needs to be demolished. Absolutely terrible stay that I had to cancel early due to hotel issues.
The room provided was literally 20 feet from the 101 freeway, as are most of the rooms, so I hope you like loud traffic noise all hours of the night.
The freeway noise wasn't too noticeable because the in room air conditioning unit was so old and noisy with constant rattles, you'd be hard pressed to hear anything else unless you had the TV volume cranked.
The paint in the room was peeling and stained in multiple places, as well as the furniture being extremely scuffed and dirty. I even found dried blood on the edges of one of the tables. The TV cable box and cables are left hanging from the wall mounted TV without a proper mount.
The bathroom area near the toilet smelled strongly of an open sewer, and the shower was missing the handles for the sliding door, which were obviously broken and left unrepaired.
The bed wasn't much better, with stains and four tiny "pillows" that were the size of couch pillows, and about as comfortable as a pillowcase stuffed with dirty laundry. I ended up checking out early due to the bed giving me a rash on my body, and the EXTREMELY OVERWHELMING smell of cigarette smoke baked into the room. After a few hours it started giving me a headache and almost made me sick to my stomach.

Absolutely terrible hotel. Avoid at all costs.

Our flight was delayed and, when we tried to call the hotel from the shuttle waiting area, we couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. The van never came to pick us up, and after a near hour wait, wound up costing us $50+ for an Uber from the airport! When we arrived -- two 80+ year olds -- we were told that there were NO rooms on the first floor (because we arrived so late) and we had to walk up OUTSIDE to the second floor to get to a room!! Fortunately another guest helped get our luggage up the stairs. This is NOT a good hotel and we're amazed that it carries the Wyndham name.

I wish there was someone to help with the suitcases. The description of shutle should be more detail. I missed my bus because the description said the hotel is only 4 mins drive from the SFO airport. The hotel's shutle took about 30nins to take me there because they stopped at several places to pick up passengers.

Walking without socks across our floor, left my feet black with dirt; no spare toilet paper roll, peeling paint, and the thinnest of thin walls are our first complaints; my daughter didn't feel safe there and the fact that the little room folder for the key talked about using the dead bolt for security rather than telling us the check-out time should be another tip-off about why my daughter was unhappy. Pillows were very hard and half sized. Bedding was clean, but one towel had a permanent stain. Shuttle only arrives once every 45 minutes - the drivers were nice and helpful, but be prepared to wait upon arrival at the airport if you have just missed a shuttle. Had to pay for parking even though we were guests at the hotel. I wouldn't stay there again.

This appears to be a long time residents for many people. It is run down and people are smoking outside and kids are playing in diapers with no shoes. They have a dumpster in front of two of the rooms unfortunately it was across from mine. They were throwing things and it sounded like metal clanging late at night. This property is nowhere near the property then I have stated on hotels.com. it should be removed from your site

Pretty basic both hotel lobby and room. It did not have an airport shuttle earlier than 5 AM but our flight was at 6 AM. So, had to do a lyft/uber for extra expense. One plus is that IHOP is attached to the main building and they also had a clean, usable pool.

I gave this property two chances. That was my error.

Where do I start? The bathroom door was broken — stuck shut, which is not just an inconvenience, it’s a safety issue. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were completely empty. The room itself looked like it hadn’t seen a proper deep clean or any real maintenance in years — worn, tired, and frankly depressing. For what they’re charging, this is a joke.

The shuttle is the one thing that technically works, but “convenient” is generous — the wait times are long and the ride itself isn’t much better.

Now, the part that pushed me over the edge: they won’t accept a Venmo debit card — a legitimate, widely accepted Visa/Mastercard debit card — but they’ll happily take cash.

I stayed here for one night before an early morning flight out of SFO. The biggest positive was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated after a long trip.

Unfortunately, the property itself left a lot to be desired. The room felt very worn, with tattered curtains, some of the strangest pillows I've ever encountered, and an overall sense that the hotel is overdue for some updates. Most concerning was finding roaches in the room, which is never something you want to discover when you're trying to get a few hours of sleep before a flight.

If you're looking for an inexpensive place close to the airport for a quick overnight stay, the location is convenient and the staff are kind. However, the condition of the rooms and the pest issue would make it difficult for me to stay here again.

The room looked old and raggedy and it reeked of smoke even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. I called the front desk to switch rooms, but there were none available so he sent a staff member to spray the room with deoderizer, didnt help. The beds are as hard as the floor, the bathroom tub was stained and cracked, carpet is disgusting, and overall just gross. The best amenities they offer is the free shuttle to go to the airport and the IHOP next door.

The hotel is currently undergoing a property-wide room renovation (according to the staff), and the investment is noticeable. My room appeared recently renovated with updated flooring, furniture, and a remodeled bathroom. The room was clean, functional, and looked significantly better than on previous stays.

A few minor cosmetic items still showed the property's age, including some wear around the bathroom mirror and a few older fixtures. These were relatively small issues compared to the overall improvements being made.

The biggest remaining concern was the mattress. While the room itself felt refreshed, the bed was still very firm and was the weakest part of the stay from a comfort standpoint. Front desk staff indicated that new mattresses are on order, although details were not available regarding the replacement schedule.

One thing I appreciated was seeing the continued investment in the property. I have stayed here over several years, and it is encouraging to see ownership improving the guest rooms rather than simply maintaining the status quo.

Overall, this was a solid stay. The renovation work has significantly improved the appearance of the rooms, and if the mattress upgrades are completed, the guest experience could improve even further.

Door was open on our arrival. Question if someone else was already in there. First impression was the shredded drapes in the window. When entering the room the overwhelming smell of urine hits you in the face. The room was not clean. Stains on carpet. Tub mold covered by white paint. Stains on bed skirt. Floor not vacuumed, toenails included. Lock on door missing screws, however we located the screw in the drapes, when we almost cut our hand on them. And most unusual that the art work is hung up-side-down. Window didn't close all the way, and the screen was cut. Did not give a good sense of security.

The room was clean even though it was apparent someone smoked in the room at some point. The photos online must have been the remodeled rooms because my room was very old with paint peeling and chipping in many areas. The bathtub and the furniture were ancient and not the best. But overall, the room itself was very clean, the fridge and microwave were clean, the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable.
