The staff at the counter were nice. The maintenance guy was excellent. The location was great with Rundle Mall just 5 mins walk away.
However, despite signs telling us that the place has been thoroughly cleaned, majority of the cups (we did not use any others) were stained or chipped. The kettle was not pleasant....to say the least, we bought a kettle from K-mart for our use for the 3-night trip.
The toilet bowls were extremely dirty. The rim of the bowl had brown stains all over where the water is comes out. As we were just there for a short trip, we told the cleaners it was not necessary to change our towels so as to be more environmentally friendly. To our horror, the cleaner took the floor towel which we left outside of the shower area to dry our feet and placed it on top of my shower towel as she cleaned the floor of the bathroom before placing back after. Tissue that had dropped on the floor were left there after housekeeping.
We were promised a bottle of wine when we booked. We did not receive it and after chasing and answering a ton of questions from the staff, we finally got our wine. It was a wild goose chase with counter blaming housekeeping, housekeeping not knowing anything and so on. That was not a very pleasant experience.
As expected, the car park is narrow so do drive with care. Be aware that each entry or exit of the carpark, we have to buzz the counter. The first greeting at the car park entrance will be the bins, just fyi.
