We picked this property because it is a Hilton brand hotel. Hotel is showing it’s age. Clean but probably won’t stay here my next trip back to QRO. All in all it was fine good coffe place 2 doors down.

No water pressure at all in the shower. Room heavily smelled as cleaners and was not at all what you would expect from a Hilton property. If I had not checked in so late, I would have definitely changed hotel.

Me gustaba mucho este hotel.

Era la segunda vez que me hospedaba ahí, había estado unos días antes y decidí volver. Pero esta vez solo por una noche. Ya me había sucedido que el agua de la regadera salía tibia, llamaba a recepción y lo resolvían. Entiendo qué hay un tema de economía, sería bueno que avisaran en qué horario el agua caliente es bajo demanda, simple como eso. El desayuno es en verdad bueno, excelente comida y excelente servicio. Tuve que usar la impresora y eso fue sencillo y rápido. Mi queja ese día fue que solicité salir a la 1:30pm siendo miembro Honors, y la recepcionista de muy mala actitud me dijo que era imposible, que máximo a la 1. Al final salí a la 1:15 pues el agua a las 12 estaba fría, en lo que se calentó, se demoró mi salida. Al hacer el checkout, la misma recepcionista seguía con actitud de pocos amigos. Lamentable. Los días previos a pesar del agua tibia la había pasado bastante bien. Una recomendación adicional, en tiempos de contingencia sanitaria sería bueno poder abrir la ventana de la habitación, es peligroso y sofocante tener que estar todo el día sin que entre aire a la habitación.

Very nice staff, pleasant stay

This hotel is small enough that everything is at a convenient distance from your room: the gym, the pool, parking, restaurant, etc. The staff was super nice. I was surprised to see so many foreign guests (I am Mexican), I imagine they have done a good job at international promotion. Location is very convenient to come in and out with a car.

Main reason I booked at the DoubeTree THIS visit to Queretaro with my family is because it had the indoor pool to enjoy, without the chance of relying on an outdoor pool with the questionable weather this time of year. And . . . We check in and see that the pool is OUT OF SERVICE . . . Freakin Great!

We were very impressed with the hotel. We just needed a place to stay before our early morning flight out of Queretaro MX and this hotel looked good and had shuttle service to the airport. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We would stay here again.

I selected the property because it offered complimentary airport transfer, evev emailed to confirm the transfer would be available at 5 am, when we needed it. On arrival we were informed no airport trnasfers until 6 am. The scheduled wake up call did not occur. We almost missed kur taxi to airport.

Near the Historico Zone of Queretaro

there was a lot of shopping in the Historico zone and we had a great time walking around. We appreciated the shuttle service provided by the hotel.
We also really appreciated the help for our airline check in at Fernanda's desk. She really worked a while on trying to figure out why our boarding passes could not be printed. Well we figured it the next day at the airport so FYI to those that need to know that boarding passes from Areo Mexico cannot be printed unless you are at the airport. I liked Fernanda's attitude also because it was frustrating for us all and I kept asking her if we could try later and her response to me was \" I like to help people\". Simple and comforting.
English was spoken when needed otherwise we did speak Spanish.
Thank you all for our great experience there in Queretaro!

It looks like no good restaurants near the hotel, so I took dinner in the hotel. I ordered a steak sandwich and a glass of wine. I ordered wine twice. When I received the bill, I surprised. Sandwich was 129 peso. A glass of the red wine was 250 peso.
I expected wine list before they served.

Staff was helpful and attentive. Restaurant experience sucked. Waited over 45min for a burger and a club sandwich even when we were the only ones there. After asking what was the problem, waiter said the fries were not ready and were holding up the order. Burger tasted terrible. The restaurant floor was messy and had napkins, straws and papers all over it. Even as evident as the mess was, no one cleaned it and we were there for over an hour.

One night in Querétaro

We stayed at this comfortable hotel for one night and used the transport to the airport the morning we were leaving. The hotel staff was pleasant and the room was very nice. We'd planned to use the hotel transport from the bus terminal to the hotel, but did not know that you need to give the hotel 4 hours advance notice--so we had to take a cab from the bus terminal. We arrived late so didn't go out, but a supermarket is across the street and it looked like a little coffee shop/diner is a few steps from the hotel.

There was dozens of unsupervised kids running in the hallways, trying to find their way into the excercise room and to make matters worst, their meeting place was in the room adjacent to mine. I call the front desk and ask for a room change, their replay/solucion was to the security, it work for three seconds but as soon as security left, the nightmare restarted. Finally, after my third complain (11.45pm) the gave me a different room.

It is a small hotel by a mall with little or no outside charm. However the staff was very friendly and the little bar had some life to it largely due to the friendly bar man. The hotel is situated off the highway outside of town which is convenient for getting to and from the airport.

Location wise, perfect for 'new Queretaro' and associated business and residential areas. Probably the best facility wise and although relatively close to the famous Centro Historico, you'll probably want to be 'down town' in the heart of things if the historic and tourist aspect is what you are coming for. Having said that, you'll probably not find all of the creature comforts that this modern hotel can provide and it's not too far anyway.

Nice hotel, but service was spotty.

The hotel was very nice, and esthetically it was probably the nicest we had seen in Queretaro. The room we stayed in was more like a Hilton Garden Inn room, rather than a typical DoubleTree room. We felt the service was less than desired, for instance it took 30 minutes to bring up an extra towel, which was needed because there was only one full sized towel in the bathroom. The pool appeared to be a fun little spot, although we never took advantage of it. The breakfast area was nice, but the service was mediocre at best. A big plus was that there was Super Market (WalMart-like) across the street. Lastly, the proximity to the town center is not within walking distance from the hotel. The cab ride ranged from 40 to 70 pesos. You can save yourself about 10 to 15 pesos by walking out of the parking lot and across one lane of traffic and catching a cab going towards the town center.

Clean hotel. Nice and helpful staff. We managed to check in early - stay was for a wedding and we needed to check in early to get ready. This was the only hotel in the area that accepted early check in. Small indoor pool and no outdoor pool but this is more of a business hotel. Located on the outskirts of the town easy to spot from motorway. 2 supermarkets walking distance - one just in front - and a coffee shop and little restaurant within a block of the hotel. Limited buffet breakfast but nice omelets and hot sandwiches. A bit far from the town center. I would stay again and would recommend it.

Great Hotel, far from the historic center

Very good hotel, great staff, and excellent room service. The only thing that the hotel is far from the historic center and you need to take a cab to go there. But, if you go to Quer�taro to see a Futbol game is very close (walking distance) to the Stadium. There's a supermarket and a small shopping area just in front of the hotel.

The whole structure of the hotel is small, elevator is very narrow, hallways and rooms are narrow and furniture is cramped.
At checkout we were being charged with hundreds of pesos on telephone calls we did not make and it took a few strong words for the staff to understand and settle that we had not made those calls.

I was surprised to notice that this hotel does not meet Hilton's standards, some examples: plugs in the bathroom did not work, I called 4 times and they didn't fix it; air condition didn't work as it was impossible to change the pre-set temparature, once again I called someone showed up and left but they never told me it couldn't be fixed; no toilet paper in the lobby's bathrrom; TVs in the gym do not work... I guess you get the picture
