We came in very late and they were very understanding and helpful, the room turned out to be a mini suite with a bard room and sitting room and bathroom, comfy bed, Mountain View, lots of cupboards and closets, good food in restaurant, free bus and train passes with two day stay. Really lovely place!

The property was very nice and clean. A couple issues: There was no hot water in the shower. We called the desk and whoever answered sounded like they just woke up and I am sure that is what happened. We asked about the hot water, we were told since we were up so early no one else was using the water and to let it run for five minutes, it never got hot. One checkout it was like the lady never checked anyone out before, we were under a time constraint and there was no sense of urgency. We asking for help getting to the train station for the Glacier Express train, they never heard of it and directed us to the wrong train station, they told us to take the bus and told us the stop was next door, we waiting there and the bus just drove on by. We actually had to go down the street to another hotel and get proper help. If not for the two ladies at the desk, the stay would have been great. They almost made us miss our train!! No sense of urgency at all!

Our room was big with a great mountain view. Buffet breakfast had plenty of options. The hotel gives you a free bus pass for the area which is very useful. The Thai DECO restaurant was excellent

Terrible customer service!!!!
We booked one night stay at this hotel and could not arrive due to an accident on the way. We called, explained the situation was told the hotel needs to charge the night regardless of the situation, which we understand. We are trying for days asking the hotel to send us a receipt ( that show how we paid) so the insurance can give us the refund. We are just being ignored and ignored!!! Terrible!!!!

We stayed there for one night. Everyone was very helpful. They tried to rise beyond our expectations. We had to catch an early train and they packed us wonderful breakfast.
We had dinner at the onsite Thai restaurant. The staff their was wonderful and the food and drinks were one of the best we have had so far.
We would like to go there again and stay for more days.

Property and room was excellent. Property restaurant was OK but we did not get food for 30 mins and order had to be re-entered. We were charged incorrectly by server and manager said we shouldn’t have eaten food if it was wrong. We received the correct order of food. It was just charged incorrectly. Other than that small detail, it was a beautiful place!

My wife and I stayed this hotel with my two dogs. Our experience in this hotel was very nice one. The room were spacious enough for us. The hotel was nice to dogs. All the staff were very nice to us and the dogs. The breakfast was also very good.

We've booked breakfast and dinner. The quality of the food wasn't good. The breakfast buffet was very small and if you come at 9 o'clock for breakfast a lot of dishes were empty and weren't filled any more. The menus for dinner were monotonuous.

Stay was comfortable. Service at the restaurant was below expectation. We waited more than a hrs for the kids to eat, water glasses finished...and overall we asked several things (ketchup, wine overview, etc.) That never arrived or only after several request. Price/quality not matching at all.

5 star service - really unbelievable. We had early departure 6am so would miss breakfast. Staff offered and delivered sandwiches to us the night before, along with fruit, water, chocolate and chips - for each of the 4 of us. No charge, we didn't even ask for this. The girls working on Dec 28 2019 really deserve credit for acting like owners not managers. Highly recommend this place -- updated comfortable rooms and a short 10 min ride from St Moritz. Great job guys.

Wonderful old hotel built in 1904 but very nicely renovated. Lovely room - very large with separate toilet and additional very large bathroom and balcony. The breakfast was very good. We did the dinner, bed and breakfast which was great value. The first dinner was not so good with chewy venison but the second dinner was excellent. Wonderful area to do hiking - the chairlift is right behind the hotel with great hikes from the top. The hotel also gave us free passes which covered all the trains, buses, cable cars, funiculars and chairlifts in the area which was a tremendous saving. We rented e-Bikes from a shop 2 doors down from the hotel which are a great way to see the area.

Decent hotel for the price.

The hotel is a bit off a hike from the train station. Some items like hot water heater and adaptor plug needs to be requested and they don't have people to bring it to your room. You need to come down to the reception to request it. Not much service although you can request to be pickup from the train station when you arrive with luggage. Not much customer service from their reception as well. Although they answer directly your question. The church bell in front of the hotel also rings around 7 and 8pm when we were there.

Beautiful room, wonderful view, and delicious food

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Schweizerhof Pontresina. The room was all I had wanted—very spacious, quiet, and with a magnificent view. The dinner and breakfast that were included in the half pension were also excellent. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

We were very happy to have a safe in our room but it was too small for an iPad. Our room also had a flashing red & blue light near our entrance door. The light flashed all night into our faces. It would be a good idea if a cover could be permanently placed over this.

Lovely Swiss Mountain Hotel

We used this as a stopover on a trip on the Bernina Express from Tirano to Chur. An uphill walk from the station but worth it. A lovely grand hotel with superb mountain views. Our room was spacious with a nice corner seating area. Lovely bathroom with a deep bathtub for a welcome soak. The only disappointment was the 3 course evening meal whovh we opted for rather than go seek a restaurant in town. It was not good value. The buffet salad was tired looking and minimal in choice; the main course meat or fish was insubstantial and the dessert was a pretty normal ice cream. The excellent buffet breakfast made up for some of our disappointment. Great hotel spoilt by the evening meal.

We only stayed one night. The hotel was fine but the town was in its off-season so not many places open or open but close early. Don’t come in early June. While it is beautiful it seems to be more of a winter town.

Lovely room - but poor reception and OK breakfast

The room was renovated and lovely - modern, bright, comfortable and everything you need (including fridge and safe).

Breakfast was OK, quite basic and quality just OK compared to other hotels in the area.

Reception was POOR, unfriendly and not very responsive. We stayed 3 nights and every night there was a sign that the reception was away for a bit, but it was never just a bit, it was often a longer period of time. Even when we tried to call the hotel, it would sometimes just ring and ring and no one would answer. Since when is this a good way to run a hotel?

Almost a perfect stay.

Great experience with only one exception. The electrical receptacles, bank one and bank two, were needed for all our electronics. Only one of the two receptacles was working. I informed the front desk that I thought a circuit breaker was probably thrown and that a technician could probably fix the problem in two minutes. To my knowledge no one looked into the problem. Annoying.

Wow! this was the best hotel of our 2 week trip in Switzerland. Everything about the hotel and it's location was perfect. On top of that the breakfast was amazing. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the stream right out side our window provided soothing sounds all night long. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Experience was very good except for dinner. Waiters try hard to make you pay more than you should and if you do not pay attention you end up doing so. Also price/quality ratio is too high! Food is good but overpriced.
They have a little spa corner with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Nothing special but the time we went nobody was there so we fully enjoyed it. Room was huge!

Near perfect stay.

This hotel was a nice option, much less expensive than in St. Moritz for the night we stayed. I liked that we were welcomed with our dog. We had a room with a small balcony. The door opened to let in the soothing sound of a running creek below, away from street noise. Everything was perfect except for the \"sitting area\". That was a joke! Plastic laminated square hard settee with thin cheap cover, and a chair that a large man could not use. Breakfast was nice, fabulous location close enough to the bus stop without having the crowd right outside the doors!

Great location for hiking

Came for hiking and it was great. Hotel was being renovated so there was noise during the day and some construction dust in the halls. Photos of rooms completed were very nice. Our room included a sleeping section and a room with TV, extra bed, chairs and desk. Small balcony--view of the mountain range in the morning was great. Breakfast buffet price was decreased; excellent food at buffet. Free transportation card for the stay and shuttle to the train station when we left. Bus #1 stops 2 blocks away from hotel entrance--train station at least a mile away. Tourist information about 2 blocks away: young man was very knowledgeable. He marked hiking options, sites to visit and had bus routes/times. One of the panorama walks (2.5 hours) started with a train ride up the mountain and ended with a chair life ride down-- that ended just behind the hotel. Grocery store close with anything you might need. The snowing was falling when we left September 23.. beautiful train ride to Chur.

Good place to stay in St. Moritz

This is a decent hotel in Pontrecina, about 5 Kim's from St. Moritz and close to all attractions. It's very reasonably priced compared to St. Moritz where they are quite expensive The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It was quite convenient for me as I got off the Bernina Express in Pontrecina and was picked up right from the station. The hotel even provided me a free pass to use on the cable cars (4 of them) as well as on buses and local trains which was a bonus. Although I stayed for only 2 nights I enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting St. Moritz

Gemütliches Hotel im Zentrum

Tolles gemütliches Hotel. Die Luxus Juniorsuite ist ideal mit Kindern. Ein öffentlicher Spielplatz befindet sich nur wenige Schritte vom Hotel entfernt. Auch hat es gegenüber dem Hotel ein Erlebnisbad. Wir konnten auch im Hotel das Abendessen geniessen. Die Bedienung ging sehr auf die Kinder ein und man merkte, sie sind herzlich willkommen.
