Room in a good location, breakfast was fine however cannot be more than 3 stars as there was a horrid smell in the room, at first we thought it was disinfectant as the toilet was taped with a disinfectant sticker however the smell didn’t go away and so we had to buy an air freshener to plug in, presume it was something wrong with the drainage pipes

We loved the hotel's location, it was very easy to visit all of Seville's main sights from there. The room was spacious, and had a very comfortable bed despite the pillows being a little too soft (a choice of softer and harder pillows would have been ideal). The bathroom was big and modern and had a great powerful shower, though the towels felt as if they were made of cheap material - not great at drying and left tiny specks of fabric everywhere. Also, the bathroom had no windows and the ventilation fan didn't seem to be working which wasn't ideal (but not a dealbreaker either). Our room was in the patio, very close to the breakfast area, so we got woken up before 8 every morning by loud voices of guests waiting outside, as well as clattering of plates. The noise was the main downside but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Prime location for the hotel and our room was nice enough. Our check in experience was great, with the colleague giving us loads of recommendations and a map. We asked for an iron one night and a different person on reception said she didn't know where they kept them so couldn't help, which meant we had to wear creased clothes. Enjoyed the rooftop bar, but it was only open for one night of our stay which was a shame.

We had room 516 it was a beautiful room very large and comfortable. The only downside was the door for breakfast made a bumping noise every time it was opened. This was not very pleasant in the morning when trying to sleep.

The place is located in a really good area but the hotel was nasty.

We arrived late at night and after we did the check when we got to the room we had the surprise that the bed and the shower had hairs!!! The place was nasty but we were really tired that we couldn’t move to another hotel. Instead we cleaned ourselves.

Also, one of the receptionist was very rude.

My recommendation is to pass this hotel and get another one, there are some around the area.

Location is great, walkable to lots of points of interest. This is a small older European type hotel.
A little hard to find especially when driving.
Parking is a block away in a public structure which costs 22 euro daily with no in and out privilege.
We had a room with a little balcony facing the Metropol Parasol.
Breakfast was adequate.

The hotel is well positioned by the Parasol with lots of eating and drinking establishments nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly though the room itself was small and dark. We faced the front of the hotel and were disturbed by cleaning activity from the local authority plus noise from a lift in an adjacent property. WiFi connection was very good and the choice for breakfast was also good.

This is a 2* hotel not 4 at all - whatever description / picture on the website is not accurate. Bathroom is tiny with a bad smell. Room is very stuffy / dark, also bad isolation you can hear people flushing toilet. There is 0 amenity in the room, no kettle for tea/coffee nor bottle of water as per description, when asked, staff could not find one. It depends on who you meet at the reception, i met quite unfriendly if not rude when arrived, but with the change of shift, nicer people. Hotel is in a good location but again, there is plenty around, very disappointed stay here.

The hotel was supposed to be a 4 star, while it is 3 star officially, 2 stars for real.
I booked 2 rooms for my family and despite having required in advance to stay close each other, we were in 2 different floors.
Poor amenities, no slippers.
Room cleanliness very poor, at our arrival there was dust everywhere.
Staff behavior disappointing on providing any help.
There was no chance to speak with the manager despite I asked to do so.

Position is good. But rooms on the Plaza de la Encarnaciòn are noisy due to the people on the square, activities on ground floor and machines cleaning the square floor.

Very nice hotel, nicely decorated and very comfortable rooms, all just steps away from town centre. Do ask for a room that doesn't face the street, otherwise it can get noisy (ours was not and we slept perfectly). My only dislike was the shower which occasionally didn't have enough hot water. Nevertheless, I would recommend this place!

This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but it most certainly is not. A mix up at check in had us in the wrong room. It was late and could not be fixed till the morning. A further complaint and a call from yourselves eventually got us moved from a dismal room with no natural light at the back of the hotel, to the balcony room we had originally booked. It was very small with an absolutely tiny bathroom. The decor in the hotel is tired and the only saving grace is the location. Pretty central for everything, which is why we booked there in the first place. I would not stay there again.

This is NOT a 4-star hotel. Maybe a 3 star. The whole building smells of these cheap strawberry airfresheners they bought at the dollar store. Our room when we walked in smelled like mold. We left the window open and went for a walk but on our return it didn't get any better. There was visible
Moisture inside the room on the curtains and the AC/heater unit didn't work so we couldn't dry the room. We asked for a new room but couldn't get one. Left after the first day of a 4 day reservation. So far was only refunded for one night even though we didn't stay there 3. Calling today to make sure that changes.

Charming hotel room & excellent location.

The room was iconically Spanish / old fashioned but in new condition. Beautiful roof top bar as well. Perfect location - situated right inside the Plaza de la Encarnación, which is where the Metropol Parasol is. Definitely recommend. Staff were lovely.

I had room 225 at the Hotel Palace Sevilla with a courtyard view. It was a small room with a small bathroom, safe, closet, refrigerator, but no robe or slippers. There were no towel racks in bathroom which is really weird. Housekeeping just placed the towels on the bed, but not in any cute animal shapes. No douche thing in the bathroom which was fine with me cuz they're freaky. The stopper in the sink didn't work. There were not enough electrical power sockets in room. The room was fairly clean and nicely decorated. Cold air conditioning and decent WiFi. Uncomfortable bed made of 2 beds pushed together with a canyon in between. Weird energy saving LED hallway lights where you have to press a button to turn lights on and they shut off when you're half way down the hall and it's pitch black. No motion sensors.
At check in your get a coupon for one free drink at the really nice rooftop bar with a great view of the Metropol Parasol.
Overall a great value and I'd stay again, but I'd get a better view.

Horrendous Customer Service

Horrible customer service. They don't speak English or the Spanish we speak in North America. Thus when you ask about parking charges and breakfast they tell you it's included but at checkout hit you with the bill. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms wonderfully clean, location is perfect. But wretched customer service!

BE CAREFUL if you pick this place, DO NOT pay in advance before you check your room!!!! Better option to choose another place in Seville.
When we arrived we`ve been given the room which smelled like somebody died in it few weeks ago. To cover the smell housekeeper put perfumes all over the place which made it even worse((( It was not possible to stay in the room even a minute without throwing up!
Hotel staff refused to provide another room but proposed a smell sticks))) Despite the fact that we`ve arrived near midnight and was very tired we had to look for another place to stay.
Hotel staff apologized and promised to cancel reservation. The very next day they charged our card with full amount for two days. Two days later we came to hotel to ask what was the reason of charge and reception person told us that it was our fault and the room was totally fine! FRAUD.
In addition to that this place is very inconvinient if you travel by car.

Very nice double room - ornamental decoration with great bathroom. Slightly small but we didn't spend too much time in there so never had a problem. Only downside was it took me a night to figure out there was a small know and off switch on the right of the coffee maker that I needed to use to get it to work! Complimentary items in fridge and coffee/wine in the hotel bar. The staff speak very little English but that is true of Seville in general. Will definitely book here again when I return to Seville.

An excellent location to see the city. In easy walking distance of all the major places of interest. Many places for breakfast and dinner in all price bands. The room was tight and I did pay for the superior room. Make sure you stipulate a balcony as I was given a inner faceing dark room to start. I thought all superior rooms were balcony ones so take care when booking. It's noisy at night but lovely to look out in the day and evening. If you are going to enjoy the city you will be out late too! The staff were very attentive and helpful once we got the room issue solved. The roof bar is lovely and not expensive.

Not very pleasant. Although the hotel is centrally located with a bar terrazza on the roof with a view of the Metropol Parasol. Boutique looking hotel with nicely decorated rooms but not very functional. I say this for the following reasons: No desk and chair for you to write notes, no towel racks in the bathroom, shampoo and body wash containers are ridiculous (can't open them with wet hands), bottled water is not replaced, nor was the bar of soap. The night shift doesn't know where stuff is (e. g., bar of soap, bottled water). And may I add that when we went to our room past check-in, we found the staff still cleaning the room, awkward.

After an initial hiccup (our room wasn't ready at check-in time, or a couple of hours later) we were given a very nice room facing the Plaza. The room was comfortable, the bed is memory foam though which is not to everyone's taste. The AC only worked sporadically but this wasn't a huge problem at this time of year. At night, there was a bit of noise from the square that could get quite loud - however, if noise isn't your thing then Spain probably isn't the right destination for your holiday.

Three things really set this hotel apart though: the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant, right beside the Parasol and very close to the Cathedral area for sight-seeing. Lastly, it has a lovely rooftop terrace, with bar to sit out and enjoy the view of the Parasol and the city.

I would definitely recommend it.

Hotel Palace Sevilla is located in a great, central location in Plaza de Encarnacion. The hotel itself is really closer to a 3-star property. The rooms are extraordinarily small and the walls were paper thin - you could hear people talking in the hallway or coughing in the next room. The bathroom was nice, however the shower stall was tiny (like a cruise ship shower). I'm only 5' 7\" and I felt cramped. I'm not sure how anyone 6' or above would fit in there. The soap and shampoo provided were in single-use plastic capsules that were difficult to open with wet hands. The bar of soap was tiny. Beds were quite firm but comfortable. The air conditioning unit in our room only worked half the time - the rest of the time it flashed an error code on the display. Fortunately windows opened fully to allow in fresh air. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the hotel to a friend if they are expecting 3-star quality, not 4-star. The location is excellent.

Situated by The Parasol the hotel was within walking distance of everything and there was a nice bustling atmosphere at night. The room was quite small but with all the amenities. The shower was amazing - several jets. The hotel staff were friendly and assisted with directions, taxis etc. the breakfast for €10 was excellent. All freshly cooked for you, lots of choice and a nice view from the rooftop.

We arrived about 5pm and were met by Jacob and Sonia who were extremely pleasant and helpful. Jacob opened the garage doors and guided us down to the car park. Then helped us take our bags up to the room and explained the room to us. Anytime we asked the staff for anything nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The king size bed was actually two twins with separate bed clothes that separated during the night; almost lost myself at 2am! The rooms did not have enough lighting and were small. The shower was good. The in-room safe was convenient when it worked (the staff would not replace the batteries when it would not lock, even tho the 'lobat' light came on). Very convenient location - could have walked to the train station if we didn't have so much luggage; an easy walk to the cathedral; close to restaurants, cafes, and the el Cortes Ingles.

No I do not recommend

first of all, the room they gave me was facing atrium full of ac exhaust and mechanical stuff. and window was so small (little over a foot wide) I literally had no view nor sunlight. The room was dark and the sheet was not clean (found hairs in my sheet). So don't get fooled by pictures. I didn't even want to have a complimentary coffee in my room as soon as I saw the coffee water tank wasn't really clean. Seville is pretty small. As long as the hotel you choose is in the central area, you can walk anywhere. I didn't have any issue with staffs but I saw one of them doesn't even put any effort finding out some information for another tourist family staying at the hotel. They were asking for opening hours of a tour spot, and all the staff said was \"no, I don't know.\" This hotel is only good for location and I will never go back to the hotel.

Lovely hotel would definitely go back! Just as it shows in the picture. Rooms were comfy and clean.
The only downside would be the noise levels outside on an evening but it's not a deal breaker :)
