We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our holiday at Palm Oasis for lots of reasons:

1) Its location is easy.
2) The cleanliness of the whole hotel is immaculate.
3) The care of the plantation is second to non which is lovely to see in such a rain deprived island.
4) The staff were super friendly and accommodating.
5) The apartment was super big, tidy and clean with a balcony bigger than any room in our own home.
6) We will definitely go back and we would definitely recommend it to others.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel — everything was simply perfect. The highlight was definitely the large, sparkling swimming pool, which was always clean and inviting. Surrounding the pool is a beautifully maintained garden filled with tall palm trees, creating a peaceful and tropical atmosphere.

One of my favorite spots was the cozy terrace near the pool. It offered a great selection of drinks, perfect for relaxing under the sun. The service was excellent, and the setting made it feel like a little oasis.

Another big plus was the stunning view over Maspalomas. Whether during the day or at sunset, the scenery was truly breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful and well-kept environment.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. We stayed in a studio apartment which was Absolutely massive! Immaculately clean, beds so very comfortable. Room cleaned every day. Well equipped. Pools warm and super clean. Lovely jacuzzi pool. Plenty of sunbeds. Good, reasonable poolside bar, serving good menu selection, drinks and icecreams, good prices. Staff friendly. Water slide for kids. Two pools, bottom one with slide seemed to be more family orientated. Plenty sunbeds & umbrellas, and also shade from palms and pergodas. Some entertainment in the evening, but no mini disco. Aldi opposite, and a few restaurants a couple of minutes away. Taxis and buses right outside the hotel, as you really are away from Maspalomas and beach. Would recommended a car, as we did. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Absolutely wondwrdul, classy feel.

Very good experience, was an extremely cheap deal.

Location: location is good but a little far from things, but taxis are cheap and public transport available and also cheap.

Hotel: it's a very nice looking hotel with a great vibe though it was quiet when we went and you can see the hotel was built a couple decades ago and haven't been renovated too much. Still very nice though.

Facilities: hotel had all sorts facilities, 3 pools, pool, mini golf, tennis, basketball and a good view of maspalomas including the dunes in the distance.

However the heated pools weren't heated much and we're too cold unless the weather was perfect

Staff: very friendly and helpful, they even upgraded our room on arrival.

Overall: overall the value for money really can't be beat and had a great stay, just wish it was longer!

Went for a quiet and relaxing week of winter sun with my partner and the stay was perfect in all details. The villa was big and very comfortable. Breakfast is well served, great size heated pools. Hotel staff were friendly and kudos to the housekeeping, everything was so clean!! Highly recommend it

Great 3 star hotel.

This property for a 3 star is exceptional value for money, beautiful grounds. I would suggest a car if your stopping here couple of restaurants near small pizza bar love and hate great. I think shuttles are available. Parking on site couple of euros per day, safe a euro a day. Pool sude food and bar good value not over priced. Plenty of beds, massive pool. All in all great value property.

Absolutely loved the place! Stayed with my sister and the kids and we had a terrific time! The pool area is lovely and so relaxing! The fact that the pools are heated is a biiiig plus! The room was spacious, and the view from the balcony terrific! We could see the ocean and the dunes. 😍 Special thanks to the lovely and kind cleaning ladies who do an absolutely terrific job and made our apartment look spotlessly clean each day! This is a gem of a find. The hotel grounds were very pretty, the pool was nice, clean and we did not have an issue getting loungers (we went off peak though). The villas were well kept and spacious. The staff we friendly and helpful at all times. There is a taxi rank around the corner from the property and a bus stop within short walking distance. Overall it was a good stay and we felt it was great for what we paid. The only negative was we had an issue with a cockroach in our room but that was not due to uncleanliness but common in the Canary Islands.

It is a true oasis. The pool is amazing and heated. The grounds are spotless and the gardens the best we have seen them. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We usually self cater here but this time opted for half board and we’re not disappointed. Buffet choice was good and staff were happy to help out my husband who has a dietary allergy.
Only negative was the lack of a good lounge and bar area. As there is nowhere to walk to in the evening, you are left with two English to channels, a trip down to Maspalomas by car/taxi or your own entertainment.
We have been to the hotel at least six times over the years and it never disappoints.

Lovely hotel and gardens surrounding pool. Very pleasant staff and clean, well kept rooms and premises. A handful of restaurants nearby and parking around the corner on street but safe and easily available. We had hire car as we wanted to see the island and without I think we would have been a little isolated - it’s 20mins walk to Maspalomas and beach ( but I believe there is a hotel courtesy bus and taxis are just outside if needed). Didn’t use the restaurant or bar but looked nice enough. Overall quiet and peaceful.

A lovely place and environment in general but 2 remarks: the coffee / espresso at the poolbar is not recommended and the bingo / gymnastics at the pool was disturbing due to too loud volume - too much charter. If needed at all it is recommended to lower the volume or remove the speakers. Many people there, like us, preferably would like to hear the birds singing instead. Peace and quiet please

Fabulous location, gardens and pools. Great buffet food and really friendly staff. One recommendation was not to have unnecessarily blaring loud live music across outside speakers on a Sunday night when you might want to get some sleep at 10.30pm which we flagged with reception but they were not to helpful in asking the singer to turn the screeching volume down. It was so odd as the place was so tranquil and quiet and only had about 10 people in the outside bar watching the singer. The food in the Buffett was also a bit cold at breakfast but that was sorted by the chef. Other than that the rest was great. Definitely stay again. Only €3.50 in a taxi to Yumbo or Faro lighthouse. Perfect little paradise hideaway, apart from the live music nights.

Regarding the stay. Sofabed not usable.

It was a great hotel and a great week. The pool area was wonderful. The only thing that we can point out is that the sofa bed is very discomforting and I would not recommending to anyone on using it. I think you need to upgrade them.

This was our first half board experience as we were now travelling with a young child.
The hotel itself, we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. It’s getting close to needing general updating, lots of cracks and old damage, sometimes outdated furniture/furnishings, but otherwise very pleasant.
The room was very spacious and so plenty of room for our little one to run around. The balcony area is also very generous and relaxing. The view over the pool area and palm trees was nice.
A couple of oddities, the microwave is at floor oven height and so not easiest to use fiddling with buttons whilst bending over. Plus the hair dryer in the bathroom is completely pointless, it won’t be drying anything anytime soon!
Bed was two singles pushed together, wasn’t until the middle of our 11 night stay we asked for this to be changed. They immediately put in a foam piece to bridge the beds. This was ok - but overall bed could have been more comfortable.
The swimming pools were both very nice and spacious when we went over Easter, so although not summer, still fairly busy. The hot tub wasn’t the best. Bubbles only turned on intermittently and could’ve been hotter!
Hotel also has a basic mini golf course which was good fun and reasonably priced at £3pp. Even had mini golf clubs for our little one.
Underground parking was very convenient.
Now to get to the biggest gripe we had, the food, a buffet, was just horrendous. I was sick on the third night. Full review on trip advisor

Overall very good stay at Palm Oasis

Recently stayed for 7 nights in a studio in block D top floor.
Whilst overall the stay and zhotel is very good for the money there are a couple of issues to be mindful off.
As previous clients have commented the grounds are beautiful and well maintained with two large swimming pools with plenty of good quality sun beds. Despite being advised at checkin not to place towels on sun beds when not in use this happens all the time,very irritating.
The room is clean however the bathroom is in need of updating and the shower is hit and miss with the water fluctuating between hot and cold, that can be quite dangerous.
Breakfast whilst has good choice and quality, it is chaotic, noisy with insufficient space and whilst there only one coffee machine worked most days therefore long queues formed.
As a say, for the cost a good choice of hotel

Absolutely fabulous hotel, pool area unreal & bar service and food was lovely...staff were very friendly and nice....rooms were cleaned every day which was great....only negative I have was our shower, it was useless...facing into the wall very hard to shower with it, had to take down shower head to rinse off...other than that I would highly recommend this for couples and families....taxi ride into Maspalomas / Playa del Ingles but you wouldn't mind that as hotel is so nice :)

Great apartment with lots of room, great furnishings and outdoor space and kept very clean by the daily cleaning service. Well equipped with AC and fan. Only drops a point as the sofa bed was not very large or comfortable.

Good food, pools and good service from everyone. A relatively quiet hotel complex and a short trip to the beach and centre but you know that when you book!

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is also very nice. You can sit on the grass around the swimming pool which is very nice.
The hotel is cery close to Meloneras which is a nice area at night, there is always taxis outside of the hotel as well.

The breakfast was ok and there are some nice dishes to in the pool bar.
Also the pizza was ok, the only thing that wasn’t great was dinner at the hotel.

Very pleased with our stay at the Palm Oasis. Being in Sonnenland, it's a little more out of the way of the main drag but that's no bad thing and still close enough. We were in a apartment rather than a bungalow/ villa which was roomy enough, clean and a nice view down to the sea.
Food was good and a reasonable price. Good on-site supermarket but there is a Spar round the corner. My son really enjoyed the mini club even when it included the hardest mini golf course we have ever been on lol
All staff especially on reception were lovely.
My only negative experience was a drunken guest who had a bad case of potty mouth at 4pm in the afternoon which resulted in a lot of families moving. I believe the one member of pool staff was aware but didn't seem to want to get involved.
However, this wouldn't stop us going back.

We had a nice stay at the Palm Oasis. Beautiful setting and attractive pool area with well maintained gardens. Lovely apartment with a good view.

However, there were a few issues;

1) Out of the two pools the main pool was cold. I assume they have a boiler issue as maintenance work was planned i believe.

2) Our non smoking room smelt strongly of cigarettes. We raised this as an issue and the cleaners did clean the net curtains which improved the odour.

3) The male pool bar attendant (possibly the bar manager) was so miserable. He made you feel so unwelcome!

4) In the evenings the hotel goes so quiet. The pool bar closes. Very little entertainment.

All in all great ten days half board, room clean, food good and if like me I have fussy kids and there are no chips etc just ask and they will cook some for you. I'm glad did half board as not much around hotel, however only 4 Euro to get taxi into maspolomas. Pools are great lots of sun beds and shade, towel provided by hotel as well which was handy and they also take towels of people who go down early to save sun beds which I found a great idea as it stopped sun bed blocking. My one and only moan is the sofa bed is so uncomfortable but you can't have everything. Great family holiday. Thanks Palm Oasis

The apartments are fantastic, well maintained, spacious and well equipped. Pool area is one of the best I have seen in Europe and the food was great for all meals. Only drawback is location you can't really walk to any main areas so it is a taxi ride to Meloneras or Playa Del Ingles but we factored that in compared to much higher costs for equivalent accommodation in those resorts. Its quiet and only a 4 euro cab ride to either resort. I would definitely stay again.

Everything you need for a relaxing break

Whilst a bit out of the way, at Sonneland rather than in Maspalomas as the name suggests, this accommodation is fantastic value for money.
The one bedroom apartments are huge and the dunes are visible from a large balcony complete with table & chairs, and sun loungers. The kitchen has everything you might need for self-catering, apart from a corkscrew....

A 4Euro taxi or a 20 minute walk will take you to the main resort with lots of restaurants of varying values but all good food, although there are a couple of good restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel, and the pool bar is also good quality.

Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. We are a big fan of this hotel it had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely clean well designed pools and pool area. Grounds and hotel are really exotic looking and we loved it. Our room was clean and cleaned daily nice colours and good kitchen. Wifi was excellent and is a big thing for us as we like to watch our movies at night time. I would 100% stay here again and will next year.Other things we liked were the fact the shopping centre is a short walk away with good shops for clothes and food. The only complaint I had with the hotel was the air con was weak and some nights were very hot in the room but other then that we cannot fault this hotel from our opinions. Now I will add that for some people they may not feel the same as us if 1. They are party lovers(This hotel is in a quiet area) 2. They want to be beside the beach(Its a taxi journey of about 8 minutes to the beaches of playa del ingles and maspalmomas with a free shuttle bus to maspalmomas from the hotel in the mornings up until 12.30 pm down and roughly 4pm back up. I would recommend this hotel to families and people who want a nice relaxing hotel.

Just got back from a 5 night break at the Palm Oasis. Lovely hotel. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was absolutely huge! Lovely gardens & several pools to choose from. Plenty of sun beds as well. Hotel provides beach towels. Supermarket on site has pretty much everything you want. We got a taxi down to the lighthouse in Melonaras several times (cost about €4) as we were room only (taxi rank is right outside the hotel). Great selection of restaurants , cafes , bars & shops along the front & hardly any street sellers to pester you. This was our first time in GC & will not be our last. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel !

Quiet location

Quiet location, away from main area, so not close to bars & restaurants or beach. Free bus service to beach though. Great pool area. Good supermarket next door. Rooms are apartments & seem to be well equipped but we went half board so didn't use most of it. Breakfast good, dinner ok but very good value considering what we paid for the week. Our second visit to this hotel & would certainly go again.

Nice ,comfortable hotel

We first visited Palm Oasis about 12 years ago. I was really pleasantly surprised that the condition and comfort of the hotel was even better than on our previous visit. No sign of wear and tear and the hotel was very well maintained and in good condition. The pool was very clean as was the pool area and gardens were well looked after. Staff were all pleasant and friendly. Yes this hotel is a good 45 minutes walk to the lighthouse,70 mins on the way back due to the steep hill but taxis are only 4 euros but we felt the walk did us good. Weather was excellent and we hope to return next January for another 3 week stay.

A good value place to stay.

The resort is nice with friendly staff. A little tired in places but overall more than acceptable. We didn't eat in the restaurant but some friends did not rate the standard of food they had. The resort is situated up a hill and a fair bit from the front at Maspalomas though it is only 5 euro in a taxi which the resort will call for you. Overall we would stay there again rather than paying for accommodation at or near the front which is a lot more expensive over the New Year period when we stayed.

Really good complex, Pools fantastic ,Apartment spacious and well equiped, Maid service excellent . My one negative view would be there,s no where to have a drink in the evening . The entertainment if any also did not start until 23.00 hrs
There are a couple of bars within walking distance from the hotel. There,s also a near by Spar which is cheaper than the on site shop. Taxis down to the beach costs around 4 euro lots of nice places to eat . The nearby waterpark is a bit overpriced 3.50 for a coke plus you also have to pay for sunbeds once inside ,family of 4 this cost another 15.00 euro on top of the 29 euro each to get in . The camel safari worth doing if only for the coach ride into the mountains . Overall would stay here again

Fantastic hotel, amazing holiday

I've never stayed in a hotel that is kept as well as the Palm Oasis, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, the pool area was always immaculate, the meals were delicious and plentiful, the only slight issue we had was with a couple of the reception desk clerks which seemed to have a prickly attitude, but all in all we had a fantastic holiday there

Palm Oasis for us every visit to Maspalomas

We were visiting family in Maspalomas and we needed a place to stay during our visit. Palm Oasis was the perfect choice. The staff were friendly, the place was spotless and the other guests were lovely. On our last day we were due to check out at 10am however the Palm Oasis let us stay on until we were due to leave in the evening at no extra cost. Happy hour 3 times a day too which was 2 drinks for price of 1

A week on Grand Canaria

We had a wonderful week long stay at the Palm Oasis. Although the Palm Oasis offers a shuttle to the beach, we preferred the walk. It is also within close walking distance to restaurants, super markets and shopping. The room had a nice kitchen which allowed us to enjoy coffee and leisurely breakfast.

Very satisfied

Very satisfied. Wonderful pool environment and layout. Excellent value for the cost. Elevated location overlooking entire area and sea and a better \"neighbourhood\" feel compared to P de Ingles, Maspalomas, Campo International. Not far from Faro (lighthouse) and Meloneras areas which is good. We have being going to GC every Nov. for 10 years. We will return to this hotel.

Fantastic spot,quiet and relaxing.Pools warm and luxurious.Lovely spacious appartments,we did self catering. Perfect sunny location.Lovely views from balcony.Kids loved it and even I swam every day!

Rummet var en fullt utrustad lägenhet, helt fantastsikt. Städningen var jättebra.
Hotellet är otroligt fint! Den enda vi har att anmärka på var att poolerna var ganska kalla den här gången. Barnen ville knappt bada. Vi har bott på det här hotellet förut och då var de mycket varmare i vattnet.
