Very average stay. Reached the hotel at 5pm (check-in time was 2pm) and still waited an hour to be checked in. Eventually was given a People of Determination room which we accepted since we did not have the energy or patience to waste more time. Wifi in the hotel is extremely slow.

This was my second time within 2 weeks I stayed in Novotel, the same story. Not very good customer service, smelly room, horrible pillows, AC was blowing cold air straight into a nose, couldn't change this set up, AC controller was failing apart, found hairs in the bathroom, shower was leaking.

The hotel is far away from everything. But, theres a bus stop out front that is very convenient. I could get anywhere within an hour. The hotel staff are awesome and friendly. The breakfast was delicious each day. The buffet at night was very pricy at $50 US dollars. I only ate there once. But it was delicious and a great variety of ethnic foods. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable.i was on the 9lth floor. There are no real views of anything in this location. I would stay here again though, when im back in Abu Dhabi.

The hotel is about 15 mins from the airport and a further 15 mins from Abu Dhabi Centre with nothing else around. This was a negative for us.
The hotel check-in took forever, and we were the only ones (pre Paid), although they said it was a new system. The staff throughout were very good, especially the concierge team.
We stayed on the 20th floor in a suite, and the space and views were superb.
We opted for half board, and we were very pleased with the quality and range of food available.
The one major downfall at this hotel is that the pool, although lovely and comfy, it does not get the sun at any time. Our plans for a day by day sightseeing and day by day pool was, therefore, not an option.
We enjoyed a magnificent xmas Eve festive dinner outside and must say that we were super impressed.
The Belgian Bar provided plenty of TVs for sport and a pool table with the downside of smokers inside (personal choice and so used to the UK laws now).
The Italian Restaurant offered a superb selection of Pizzas and Pasta (241) after 6 pm daily.
Overall, the hotel is lovely, the staff could not do anything more to help and please, the food was very good and the bar offered plenty.
The downside is that the hotel stands alone with nothing around, and the Pool never ever sees the sun due to its position at the rear.

Lack of attention to detail - The attendant put me in a smoking room when I’ve booked for a non-smoking room as I don’t smoke at all and my son was staying with me. She even lied saying it wasn’t a smoking room when I could literally smell the cigarettes and there’s an ashtray inside the room. I had to insist that she change my room.

Some services requirs some enhancing, the receptionist didn't ask for a deposit and accordingly i couldn't place any of my orders on the room which was a Hassel specially when i had to visit the pool.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for 7nights over Christmas. We were well received and got an early check in as our flight arrived early morning. Room was super clean and we had an upgrade to a pool view! Everyone is super friendly and cheerful,we felt at home with this hotel. Breakfast was really good with lots of food choices, I think this is the best breakfast I have had in any hotel so far. Facilities are available too: theres a gym and spa facilities, I had a massage and morrocan bath which was so refreshing. Theres a life guard at the pool side. We got a complimentary cake for our anniversary which was so lovely. Thanks to all the staff at this hotel will definitely visit again

Location is a plus point. Though not many F&B options in close vicinity. Reception staff is top class - some names I remember - Mark, Neeraj & John. Room service may need some training. Amazing staff, terrible food/drinks prices.
Nice hotel close to the airport. Staff were extremely friendly anc helpful. The only down side is that this hotel is the most expensive I’ve ever stayed in. The food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced, and for this reason I’ll be going elsewhere when I return to Abu dhabi.
