Stayed at a low floor room facing a road and office , which has very bright light on . Kept curtain closed all the time . Spacious with very basic setting. It is ok for a stop over . Would stayed if I was travelling to have a good holiday.

The whole stay was fantastic from start to finish - we used it as a base to visit the Abu Dhabi F1, which was a 20 min ride away but MUCH cheaper than the Yas hotels but added bonus of a beach etc. - room was large and spacious with a huge bed, nice en suite - the staff were very attentive with well priced food and drinks available. Our breakfast was included as was a club lounge package, that we only got to use once (our timetable schedule dictated that) - would highly recommended this hotel, and will certainly return if we visit AD again!

My stay was very comfortable . From the check in with Mr John who is very friendly and efficient with an effortless check in i was in an amazing room. The view was relaxing and u felt completely emersed in relaxation. The hotel offers delicious food and seamless transportation to the nearby souq. Spending many hours on the pristine beach I enjoyed my staycation. I will always choose Traders . I walk into friendly smiles from the staff who are always ever ready to ensure your needs are met. The checkout was also quick and simple. Thank you to all at the Traders for a memorable stay.

Lovely hotel great location for a rest and explore

Stayed for 4 nights on the way back from Philippines to UK. Nice and close to the airport (15 mins taxi 35 dirham), can reach the Corniche in 20 minutes but place has own private beach and close to the grand mosque. Massive well kept room, comfy bed, great views, staff nice and helpful, taxis waiting outside.

The front desk staff are rude and very confrontational if you have concerns or questions

Also the way the duty manager speaks to women is borderline criminal and if you call him out for his disrespect he becomes extremely confrontational

This was the same with pretty much the entire front seat staff

There are 6 door men who stand outside by the valet who only seem to want to open doors for guests when they feel like it

They don’t open your car door and they do not open the main entrance door to let you in

The beach was also filthy, full of algae and always low tide so you can never actually swim in that filthy stretch of beach

I highly recommend you stay anywhere but here if you are looking for a true 4-5 star experience

You will not find it here

Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed, nice view to the city, loads of toiletries, great working space, etc. The breakfast is really good (loads of variety and decent quality), the beach is amazing, super calm and clean and you can watch the sunset from there. Location is really close to the airport as well (like 13 min drive to departures so super convenient). The traders lounge is such a great perk, it’s like you have it close to a half-board experience because you can get dinner there (like a mini buffet). The customer service at the hotel is 5 stars! I would definitely recommend and would come back if I visit Abu Dhabi again

Traders is my go-to when visiting Abu Dhabi.

It is about 20 mins from the airport and a stones throw from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which is stunning.

The staff are simply great, from the front of house to housekeeping to the lifeguards all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

I'm already planning my next trip!! :)

This is the third time we have stayed at Traders and it never disappoints. The hotel has very spacious rooms a huge bathrooms. Staff across all areas provide excellent service to guests and can’t be faulted. The beach area is a real attraction for us and the location, out of town but not far from the airport or Yas island is a bonus.

Highly recommend for an Abu Dhabi break

Fabulous venue including souk nearby with grocery store, Starbucks. Beach space was great and service excellent with towels and water supplied with a smile. Easy access and close to main malls and tourist attractions. Room with twin beds was plenty big enough for my son and I.

We stayed a total of 3 nights, of which 2 were a free stopover by the Abu Dhabi based airline. This arrangement gave us a cheap and pleasant extended stopover. We liked this comfortable hotel with its private beach. Not much nearby to do but taxis are readily available and cheap. The breakfast was good except the hot food was cold.

This is the second time we have stayed at the traders hotel and this time was better than last year. The service across the hotel has definitely reached another level compared to last year. Mya at reception was very friendly when we were in the process of checking in. We checked in and went straight to the beach where all your team are 5 stars. Khaled helped us throughout the week at the beginning of each day. I wanted to list all the team at the beach that we interacted with:

Delowar also provided my mum with an ice pack for her foot. All the team we interacted with at the beach were all excellent and very helpful. They are a big credit to the Traders hotel. I have stayed in other 5* hotels in Dubai and your team are much better. They contributed to our happiness with our holiday.
Atul was very helpful during breakfast. We also had lunch sometimes in the hotel and it was a good experience. In terms of breakfast, I was surprised there was no alternative milk on our first day. My only feedback is to have more healthier cereals.
Everyone was very friendly who I interacted with. It’s a great hotel and taxis are always available.
We took the abra on our last evening and Rahim was excellent. He took our photos and was very friendly.
Overall, the hotel has continued to improve and I would definitely pick the Traders hotel when I come back to Abu Dhabi

I spent my Xmas vacations at this wonderful hotel. John who assisted me and I have to say the check was swift and professional. He was polite and extremely helpful to fulfil my requests. The decorated lobby was full of festive cheer. It's so bright and beautiful to lift u up in spirit. The room was spacious and extremely clean. I really love the view of the water and the city lights in the background so tranquil. I truly enjoyed the morning swim on the private beach area. I ordered a lamb briyani from room service which was well prepared with the perfect amount of spice and meat. Very delicious. This was a truly relaxed and well spent Xmas break.

1. The drink and service wait was over an hour not 20 minutes as 25 minutes went by and we had to go up to the lifeguards 4/5 times to ask what was happening and was met with a reply of go inside and order! This is purely unacceptable.

1.1. Breakfast service was awful dirty tables not being cleared and being key with unhelpful staff.

2. My issue with the guy delivering the additional items to our room was not a time issue it was an issue he would not leave my room after several prompts as me saying goodbye where I there had to be stern. This is not acceptable for a lone female in her room to be presented with this issue as my husband was in the shower.

3. The room was incredibly dusty.

The staff here are fabulous, from check in to check out.
Hamza at the concierge desk, Francis one of the lifeguards on the beach all make you feel valued.
It was my birthday while I was there and they went to the trouble of sending a lovely chocolate cake (it tasted amazing) to my room.
There is literally nothing that is too much trouble to them.

We are very disappointed that we lost shoes, kids clothes, skirts, underwear, pants, etc that we bought for our families. We didn’t expect this could happen in Abu Dabi. Other than, We enjoyed the breakfast. It would be perfect stay if we didn’t loss our stuff. I recommended everyone to lock their luggage. There is always bad people around.

When I arrived to the front desk to check in, I asked the receptionist, John, if there were any available upgrades. He told me no and that the hotel was full. When my husband and I arrived to our room on the 4th floor, my husband went to use the toilet. There was urine still in the toilet from a previous guest. Even the gentleman who brough our bags to the room saw it. He was very helpful and called for assistance. The hotel offered to upgrade our room to one of a slightly larger size. I had to call for ice literally 7 times (with a lot of time in between each call) before it was finally delivered the room. I was quite disappointed in the service and the cleanliness of the hotel. To find urine in a toilet is unacceptable. I feel like the management should have even made a courtesy call to apologize for such. That never happened.

This hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. Everyone at Reception was friendly and helpful, even when they needed to link separate bookings, or make sure that my laundered clothes were returned to me after I spent two nights in a different part of the country. The rooms are very elegant, the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, fresh, and varied. I also enjoyed the pool, and the beachside lounge/bar. Overall, I'd love to return on another trip.

The Traders is an excellent property with ease of access, never had to wait for a taxi. Within easy reach of the Souk which has some excellent restarurants as well as Al Qana Marina. The rooms were very clean with all facilities available. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Abu Dhabi is a very safe city where you can freely walk around at night

I was really looking forward to staying at this property as I’ve stayed in Shangri-La’s previously however we were really disappointed with this hotel.
Let’s talk about positives - beach/creek location in a quiet area. Also, small/medium sized hotel so the small beach area isn’t overcrowded.
Negatives- I can’t list everything for this review! The biggest disappointment overall was the staff! From rude to clueless, this hotel had a very weird vibe to it, staff were generally just not happy at all.
Tip - if the hotel doesn’t sort out the disaster which is their Resturant, avoid the breakfast unless you get it at a very cheap rate or free…it’s absolute carnage and staff are moving around in a craze.
Moral at the hotel was low and guests can sense it, I spoke to a few other guests and they also had similar experiences like we did with staff (there is a lot of things which was bad/poor customer service) so I’m confident it wasn’t me having a bad week hence I’m stating this to my review for you all.
Other notable issues, air con controls don’t work, mattress worn down so you ‘sink’ into the body indent and valet parking chaos.
Oh, the kids playground is under maintenance with no date to complete!
For me, I don’t think I’ll return mainly on how we and other guests were treated.
Traders hotel, without guests you have no hotel, please improve!

You have an Employee named Jan, he is absolutely the best, I mean that. I lost my phone when I left the Shiek Zayed Grand Mosque, I need everyone to understand this…..he literally called the taxi until they brought it back. If you are on vacation you can understand that your iCloud doesn’t update right away….hence I had no photos saved/my iPhone was not backed up. He told me to go watch the World Cup at the Shangri La and he will contact ,e shortly. Before halftime of the Poland/Mexico match I received a correspondence to come to the main entrance….upon arrival I had 5 employees informing me that my mobile was on premises. Please understand that this level of service happens nowhere in the west. I truly appreciate Jan and the staff at Traders!

I stayed at this property as I was discounted with my Expedia points. On check in the staff member offered me a upgrade for an additional cost. I refuse the upgrade. He then said he would hold 500dh just in case I wanted to use it for anything, I agreed as I thought we would order room service that evening.

He then place us in a room next to the service personnel which was cold, & noisy. I could not believe I was in Abu Dhabi freezing. We ask for our window to be opened because even with the AC off the room did not warm up.
The next day I demanded a room change, which they did give me.

The hotel is a little old but clean, I have just check my bank account & noticed a fee for a pool bar purchase that I did not have. I want that back.

Not my easiest stay at a hotel, felt like they were more interested in my money than in the quality of service they offered me.

We stayed in this hotel years ago and it was very good but now it’s not . The rooms are not cleaned properly , the restaurant is very limited and one meal we had in there I had to send it back . The swimming pool area looks very uninviting and your just looking at walls. There was not enough staff . I would not stay here again
