Huge, clean suite with very comfortable bed. Seperate bath and shower.
Huge bathtub, might be difficult for some people to get in & out of the bath as the sides are very high as the suite bathtubs are large, freestanding oval things not the mire common rectanglular style.

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I would come back in a heartbeat if ever back in the UAE. Lots to recommend but the standouts were the staff and the breakfast, particularly Deepak, the manager of the breakfast staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Close behind were garden room quality, space, cleanliness, ambience, and golf facilities. Also, being outside the city centre made it an unexpectedly good location for mall and souk shopping or quickly travelling elsewhere in the UAE.

They had one of the pools closed for the entire length of my stay which was not communicated on the Expedia website or their own website. They didn’t send any email about it either. The adult pool became a kids pool.

Overall the experience was okay, we just didn’t have a good experience with the staff. We had a garden view room and one night at midnight a stranger opened our back door and entered our room. When we complained to the staff they did not say anything. We were nervous for the remainder of our stay. We requested a late checkout, which they said they could not accommodate, but then when we were checking out we had to call 3 times to have someone get our bags, we ended up waiting for 45 minutes, which was almost the amount of time we asked for in a late checkout. This delayed our plans for the day. The facilities are nice but the service was not.

A one night stay during my UAE trip

I have stayed at this hotel on several previous occasions, but this was the first time since it changed from Westin to VOGO.
Within the hotel, very little has changed except branding and the introduction of a golf shop into the Reception area. The furnishings within the rooms, and general presentation is unchanged.
The thing I noticed more was there were less staff around, the offers within the bars & restaurants, and generally there was less available. I stayed during the week, but it appears they are heavily promoting a weekend “pool party” atmosphere, and everywhere I went to music was played too load, particularly at the pool.
There have been significant changes outside of the hotel to the golf facilities, with the 9 hole Garden course closed and a brightly lit Driving Range with bar and cafe added.
Overall my stay was fine, but this was always a venue that I stayed at for a bit of relaxation and peace, and I’m not sure if the new management plans will continue to offer this type of surroundings.

I think I'm going to consider this hotel as a quiet returned for my next city escapes. Its beautiful and quite. I've seen many kinda of birds while sitting in the balcony and a fox! The staff were really welcoming and courteous, its the first time that the room serving would ask me how I'm doing today. The only thing is that the TV wasn't working and it was late at night that i didn't want to call someone in the room to fix it. Thank you for this good stay!

A real improvement to the former Westin Hotel while utilizing the same facilities. The food at the buffet has remarkably improved and the friendliness a a service-oriented approach of the staff is at a superior level. We enjoyed our four night stay overlooking the very green golf course. The hotel rooms are quiet and comfortably arranged with all necessary amenities already included.

If you are a golfer then the Westin is a great choice! World championship course there is amazing. Practice facilities among the best I’ve seen and the entire atmosphere is amazing! Well appointed hotel lobby, stylish restaurants and bars, great coffee, amazing breakfast and dinner buffets and I could go in. Location is also close to airport and most Abu Dhabi points of interest! I’ll be back again!

Another excellent stay at The Westin

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, and the standard of service has always been excellent and the staff are always welcoming.
On my previous visit they had been carrying out some repairs to the pool area paving, and this has improved the presentation.
The hotel was quite quiet for the first two days, but became busier as the weekend approached.
The hotel did make contact in advance to make us aware of an event taking place in the grounds one evening, but this passed without and disturbances.

We stayed one night for our transit at AbuDhabi. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Rooms were ready and staff was very friendly. We had early flight to catch and checked at front desk about breakfast. Breakfast was ready at 6:30. Front desk staff was very friendly and set us up in the room at same level as breakfast so that we can leave on time after the breakfast. We did notice couple of flies in the room, but that may be due to the garden view and the balcony.

Had a great stay at the Westin, rooms were generous size with balcony overlooking the golf course, bathroom was good in size and well laid out, buffet breakfast was awesome with chefs responding to requests to tailor make meals. Buffet Spread was great with options to cater to even the most fussy eaters. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful at all times.
Location was well situated midway to city and Yas island.

First visit for 2 years due to COVID

I have visited several times before, and the hotel location and the staff service are excellent.
However,on my first visit for 2 years it was noticeable that certain areas of the hotel are beginning to look a little tired and in need of maintenance. In the pool area there is paving that is uneven and wobbling, and some of the ceramic tiles have lifted from the pool floor. Also, within my room (316) the access panel in the bathroom ceiling was poorly fitted and the wall mounted shower hose had PTFE tape wrapped around to hold it in place.

I had a magnificent stay at the Westin. The check in was smooth, the staff was kind and attentive especially Answar. Initially, my room had a few discrepancies, but the staff was so gracious in upgrading my room. The golf course, pool and gym were amazing. The pool attendants were really nice as well. Will definitely staycation here again.

Just got back from an excellent stay. Hotel wasn't busy until the final day until the Brits arrived and the men were on the course whilst their WAGs moaned (loudly) about them by the pool. The room was good, but the hotel needs a kick-ass restaurant. Sacci is good, but there is no atmostphere and the evening buffet was a little underwhelming. But then cabs are very cheap, so use this as a base and venture out. Looking forward to staying again.

Hotel is fab... Staff were brilliant, but issues one night due to the noise coming from the Mercedes after party until 4.30am
Despite a letter stating the party Was taking place no consideration was given to hotel guests
The DJ might have well been in our room the music was so loud !
The hotel did however deal with the situation and we were compensated accordingly!

We had one of our best hotel experience, the hotel and it’s amazing staff gave us one of the most relaxing and pleasant two days we spent there in a very long time. Everything was perfect and flawless, their very fast and helpful guest service, relaxing spa and pool, comfy beds, specifically enjoyable for golfers, last but not least all their staf where amazing especially the ones at the reception as they were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful giving us a smooth transition all the way from our check in to our check out!

A hotel that forgets it has a golf course!

Great hotel but shame that the Golf Club and Westin hotel don't work together as one entity. We wanted to book a golf holiday and thought that a hotel with a golf club in the same space/grounds would make things so much easier. Not the case. We tried to book a round of golf in advance of our stay, the hotel told us to book via the golf club, the golf club told us to book via the hotel, the hotel then said that in order to make a booking we'd have to 'send a fax' (whaaaat - are we in the 1990's again?!) Such a painful and disappointing turn of events. Shame because the hotel is great, clean, good food, well laid out and internally the staff are helpful and attentive (except for reception team that seemed a little over it).

Beautiful property. However this being a resort, we did expect more activities other than a swimming pool. Especially considering it being on a golf course, we expected some tour / cart ride / golf lessons at the golf course. We weren’t offered any of these neither allowed to walk on our own around the course due to safety concerns of golf balls striking walkers - which is understandable. Maybe this is a place only for golfer’s :)

Usual warm welcome from Westin staff. Despite it being Ramadan, there were plenty of dining options available. We couldn’t find any instructions in how to contact reception on the room phone, meaning we got our own bags down for checkout. The resort is a reasonable distance out of town, so a car or taxi needed to go to the Mall or other places of interest.

Enjoyable accommodations. I stayed because I was playing the golf course. It is an easy walk from the hotel to the pro shop, although they will shuttle you if desired. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection from which to choose, with cooked to order eggs or omelettes also available. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. No issues with valet parking. I would stay again without any question.
