Mr. Thomas and the entire staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I never write reviews, but they seriously go above and beyond at this hotel. Despite it being sold out and very busy for the F1 weekend, they remember everyone, what you eat, drink etc. Never were stressed or overwhelmed and genuinely like getting to know the guests, but it in an overbearing or sales way.

The rooms are very modern, hospitality are up in minutes if you need water or anything at all. Great location. Everything is ery middrn a dIt is across the street from Yas

The location is excellent and the service in the hotel is superb. Your every need will be catered for. Beach requires a walk and buggy via the adjacent hotel. Or a shuttle if your prefer a more noisey beach beach experience . The breakfast although the choice is small in comparison the taste is excellent and additional requests are catered for. Enjoyable stay well worth the trip , with so much to do for the children.

Great time at Rotana!

Had a great time at this Hotel, highly recommended if you are traveling with family and kids. My son enjoyed the pool a lot. If I choose to come back, I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Trasportation to the theme parks is always on time and complementary of the hotel stay.

I recently stayed at Yas Island Rotana during my visit to photograph car race at Yas Marina Circuit, part. The hotel’s proximity to the circuit is its standout feature—it’s within walking distance, which made it incredibly convenient for my purposes.

The hotel itself is in good condition, clean, and functional, though not overly fancy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. My room was spacious, with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

That said, I was disappointed with the bathroom design. The lack of proper separation between the bathroom and the bedroom significantly impacted privacy. The window with blinds allowed light from the bathroom to flood the room, which was especially inconvenient when I needed to use the bathroom at night while my wife was sleeping. This design choice is impractical and detracts from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Overall, I would recommend Yas Island Rotana for its location and practicality, particularly for events at Yas Marina Circuit. However, the bathroom setup is something to keep in mind for future stays.

Nice room. But no balcony while 90% of rooms have one. Took a credit card $150 deposit charge but when we ate lunch would not let me charge to the room. Had to pay by cash or credit card again. Advertise airport transport but not available as early as we have to go. And even though we paid for breakfast, not available as early as we want it.

This trip was nice. The Y bar restaurant on the ground floor service was very good, and there is an amazing brisket slider combo that was out of this world! the room is generally nice, but not too cozy. the bathrooms could do with some upgrade or focused maintenance.. but all in all i would recomment this hotel. good value.

My experience at Yes Island Rotano Hotel was a tale of two extremes. The suite on the first night was a haven of cleanliness and amenities, but the regular room on the second night painted a different picture. Alarming bedbug levels on the sheets left us perched uncomfortably on top, and the lack of amenities and a malfunctioning shower in the regular room were disappointing.

The staff's attempt to upsell without thorough explanations and the manager's attempt to charge a premium for a Formula 1 weekend left a bitter taste. While breakfast was enjoyable, dinner was lackluster, and the price charged was exorbitant. The gym, though in a separate building, lacked upkeep, and the kids zone, while good, had limited gaming options, restricting any chance of multiplayer fun.

The bakery items were a letdown, given their low quality compared to their hefty price tags. Even the smoothies, made from frozen fruit packages, demanded a premium that one would expect for fresh fruit. Yes Island Rotano Hotel seemed to embody inconsistency and questionable value throughout my stay.

Great location for attending events @ Etihad Arena

Great Stay at Rotana. Attended a concert at Etihad Arena in June and was around a 15mins walk. The breeze was great from the sea.

Service was amazing from everyone.

Only negative thing is that we were quoted 30dhs (US$8) per bucket of ice in the room which I thought was unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.

Overall a nice visit but no shops and places nearby so you are limited to the hotels. Small things about the hotel just aren’t quite right such as faucets that are only within four inches from the bottom of the sink, how to get your hands there? Breakfast was adequate but not wonderful.

Good hotel, 10 mins from the airport, very clean and receptive staff. Avoid breakfast as it is mediocre at best and expensive DHS 120. Yas express bus service very good which runs every 10 mins and pick-up point is just outside the hotel. Plenty of food options at Yas Mall so don't bother at the hotel. Very close to the F1 track which can be noisy as the driving school runs all day every day. The pool is nice but due to the hotels position gets no sunlight from 2.00pm onwards.

It's a great location and the hotel is basically very good. I have stayed there more than ten times and preferred it as my hotel of choice when in Abu Dhabi. What I noticed this time is that they are cutting corners on costs and that makes it quite annoying. The hotel is still good, just not as good as it has been previously

large comfortable rooms with tea/coffee supplies replaced every day. choice of restaurants, the buffet was very good as was the food in the y bar (huge portions) staff were all friendly and helpful. free shuttle bus outside hotel to all attractions. happy hour 2-4-1 every night made the bar prices reasonable (draught guinness served which made hubby happy) very relaxing stay and i would recommend this hotel to anyone
