The room was not good, the sheets didn't feel clean, the safe didn't work, the door lock was so hard to open, curtains were not ironed. And I paid so much for such a bad hotel. PS: I have been downgraded because they couldn't manage their reservations.

Hotel was very nice. They said that they would provide a welcome package for my birthday but they didn’t deliver. Hotel stay was great until just after check out when the valet brought the rental car for us to leave. He parked the car close to the markers used in the area and I couldn’t see them. When I put the vehicle in drive and proceeded to leave, I drove straight into the iron barricade. I was upset as I couldn’t see them and the valet was right there and didn’t tell me that I couldn’t go forward. I’m very upset.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. I checked in early but my room wasn't ready. The management signed me in for Breakfast at no cost and the entire staff checked to make sure I was comfortable. The amazing part is they remember names!

choice of food good but not excellent!

The stay was overall good. The restaurants were a disappointment, though.
Firstly, not everyone likes to eat steaks.
Most restaurants had a very limited menu, especially the one with the ongoing food festival. There was no option for a la carte. We had to go out of the hotel for a light dinner.

I REALLY enjoyed my stay at the Marriott. The representative who checked us in was so sweet. I wish I could remember her name. The room was beautiful and so was the rest of the hotel. I ordered room service twice and it came pretty quick and they had a wide variety of options. Also, the pool are with the swim up bar was SUPERB! I would definitely go back again.

The hotel is in the middle of a large construction site from 3 sides and it will list 2-3 years at least very noisy. Area for now no use of the large premium room balcony
It was a waste of money

I made this booking for my elder cousin who’s an 80 year old woman who wanted to visit some relatives that live in Abu Dhabi. She arrived at the property to stay for 1 night. She had all her documents on her phone and the reception refused to check her in. The reception staff and even the manager were completely uncaring, unsympathetic and offered no solutions. They just couldn’t care less. At 11pm she had to call a taxi and leave the hotel and ended up staying at her cousins place. The hotel staff here completely lack any sense of care for their guests. This was probably the worst hotel experience anyone could ever have.

First bad stay ever in a Marriott Hotel.

Unfortunately our room has problem with sensor so the lights closed each few minutes and we requested a maintenance but they came after one day also the connected door nock handle broken The worsted thing that we saw a cockroach in our room. At last we requested an extended day they request from us to pay as soon as possible although we paid or of our stay in advance and keep calling us to pay. This hotel can not be a one of Marriott Hotels.

for a Pleasant Family Vacation ...

Nice vacation place for family. The pool is great. The housekeeping staff are amazing. The gym is OK. The SPA is a bit on the expensive side comparatively. Self Parking always available. The proximity to the Al Forsan sports center is a big advantage. Liked the idea of pre-ordering the breakfast eggs/omelet, instead of queuing near the omelet counter. Somehow we felt the coffee is not that great.

Marriott Al Forsan is by far “THE BEST” hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely smell of fresh flowers as soon as you enter the hotel, extremely helpful & pleasant staff always smiling, room was AMAZING ! Cozy, Spacious, clean, comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Purna from the housekeeping team was very efficient & made sure we always had a nice & clean room, clean towels and toiletries.

Beautiful outdoor pool with warm water. There were minimum of 2 life guards on duty all the time even when the pool was quiet.
Fitness centre had all the equipment one needs; cardio machines as well as weights - dead lift station and a battle rope !

Hotel buffet breakfast in Khayal Restaurant was too good with a variety of cuisines.
Afternoon tea in the Lobby Lounge was really good.

I went to Appaloosa Bar at nights for sheesha & hot drinks and received excellent service from the friendly staff; Patience, Madi & Hamid. Thanks for looking after us.

I’d highly recommend Marriott Al Forsan to anyone & planning to stay there again whenever I next visit Abu Dhabi.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely smell of fresh flowers as soon as you enter the hotel, extremely helpful & pleasant staff, room AMAZING ! I really love my stay here, the hotel is beautiful, everywhere is clean and the staff and service is amazing. The only thing i can complain about is that the room service needs to do more good job with cleaning daily, and checking to see what customer needs, instead of us having to call.Overall, experience was amazing.

A very attractive hotel that is suitable for business travellers and family holidays. Very well managed with managers present at all times and any issues very promptly resolved. The Mariott had a great food service from poolside to evening buffet and morning breakfasts were a real highlight. Great waiting staff with Shovit a particularly attentive waiter.

We booked a one bedroom suite and it was very big. We were sure when we booked there was access to the exec lounge with the suite but were told by reception that it wasn't included, and Gold Elite doesn't get you access either. That shouldn't have been so bad as the room comes with complimentary mini-bar...ONLY IT DOESN'T.
I asked reception why the mini-bar wasn't stocked as it was complimentary. \"No it isn't\" they assured me.
I got my laptop out and showed them ON THE MARRIOTT website that it is.
The response was 'Oh, that's a mistake - we'll remove it from the website'
And that was it. They did not give us what we booked and didn't even apologise for it. Not what I expect from a brand such as Marriott and has really made me think again about booking with them. There didn't seem to be any advantage to being a Gold Elite member.

They still have complimentary mini-bar on the website but can't think given our experience that they will honour it. Apparently they used to provide lounge access with the suite so I can only think that this was removed after we looked at it, hence why we were sure we did but reception said not.

Finally, my wife wanted a hotel with tennis on-site.
The Al-Forsan on another (large) booking site showed the hotel has it. It doesn't - it's at the adjacent sports site and the hotel won't help you book it...we did ask.

Looked for a relaxing holiday but it was stressful trying, failing, to get what we paid for.

Modern hotel with magnificent staff.

The hotel catered for all your needs and if you required anything, the staff went above and beyond to make your stay a pleasurable one. The hotel was immaculate, our rooms were wonderful and constantly cleaned daily. All the amenities were superb and the restaurants are amazing. We were made to feel like Kings, Queens and Princesses and the staff made our stay even more special, always helpful, attentive, hardworking and always with a smile.
