The location, free breakfast option and staff were all excellent. Although the rooms, since it's condo style, they could've added other necessary items like paper towels, paper napkins and also additional outlets for charging electronics. If they don't want to use plugs, the lamps should at least have a usb port where we could charge our phones while we sleep. I had to move some furnitures so I could access the plug to charge my phone while I sleep. Also, the room spray that they use in the lobby doesn't smell inviting. It smells of old people, they need to use a diffuser with a scent that's inviting rather than nauseating. Other than that, I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay while I was in Manila. Thank you

Hmmm simple, clean room, friendly staffs but the food for breakfast are all left to room temperature for most of the days,….. hope they could do something, the wax for the heating finished and wasn’t replaced. A very big discount to the hotel.

Unpleasant stay at the Joy Nolstag. Not returning!

I stayed at Joy nostalg 10 years ago but the property was getting old so I switched to Crown Plaza. I came back after 10 years and everything looked the same, just older. Nothing really works in the room. the aircon thermostat stays at 20 deg despite I put it at 26 deg. it was so cold. The shower tap turned on the rain shower first, wetting me completely then I struggled to change to hand shower. floor with marble was cold to the feet. WHy can't they use carpets or LVT? Overall experience is very bad and am surprised that it is managed by Accor. This is giving Accor a bad name indeed.

We really like this property, they are always nice and welcoming. The room we had was a 1 bedroom suite with washer/dryer in one and a kitchen with the equipment for two people. This stay was a little less optimal due to noise from construction happening next door. Also there was a problem with the Wi-Fi for a day but not the end of the world and probably the service provider not the hotels issue. We enjoyed the included breakfast which was convenient as our stay was for two weeks. We would recommend this property especially for longer stays in the Ortigas area.

The room is clean but the shower is always clogging. I also didn’t like that they don’t have a laundry room in the building. And also, I’m not sure if they have an ATM inside the hotel because I did not see one. The thing I like about this hotel is very convenient. there’s a lot of places to go shopping because it’s very close to The Podium and SM Megamall.

I booked an executive suite with 1 bedroom and we truly enjoyed our stay, although all the amenities were closed due to covid restrictions, we enjoyed the room, it has a little kitchen to prepare meals, with washer/dryer so helpful, spacious and clean, lots of storage cabinets, desks, 3 Tv’s, 1 tv was in the bathroom so I enjoyed watching while soaking in the tub.

One thing I didn’t liked is that, yes we understand because of Covid, there no amenities we can use, but why when i use the phone even just for a local call there’s a charge per call? really? for a local call? maybe for a long distance yes but local call? Its unacceptable.

The bath tub is the best one I've ever seen in a hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. The interior of the hotel, makes you go back in time(nostalgic). If you're looking for a modern hotel then this one is not for you(but all facilities are up to date). The biggest one bedroom I've ever been. The buffet meals is average(small & less choice), but nice.Do NOT book for a studio type room without a view.

Like the size of the rooms. There are maintenance issues that should be address by mgmt, like bathroom tiles, faucet detached from countertop. I like the courteousness and promptness of the staff. The food I ordered from Room Service was delicious and generous. However, on the 19th floor as you get out of the elevator, there is an offensive scent of bamboo shoot and it stayed for the duration of my 4-day stay. The room was clean except that in the bathroom the silicone grout was coming out and is unbefitting of a hotel. Also, I would have appreciated if there was a day provision of laundry and dish detergent and when I asked for it, they were out of stock. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the view from my room was awesome, especially at night.

The hotel is 10 - 15 minutes walk maximum to Robinsons Galleria, The Podium, and Mega Mall. Great stay and this will be my go to hotel when I am in the metro Manila area.

I booked almost 10 months in advance so thankfully didn’t pay full price. I booked for two adults and two children and was given a king bed. I asked for a roll out bed as 4 of us in one bed would not work. I was told it was an additional 1,000php a night! I had to speak to three members of staff before they finally agreed to provide with no charge. They said the room was for 4 people only yet I was not arguing that I just wanted all 4 of us to have somewhere to sleep! On another night we found dog pooh in the corridor to our room. The hotel is dog friendly. I called reception and they sent someone up to remove it but they did not clean it just removed the poop and there was still poop smudged into the carpet. The washer/dryer was useful but left the clothes smelling bad so had to re-wash when I got home. On departure I saw that when you check in you get a welcome drink voucher which we were not given. The view from our room was that of a building site as a high rise is being built opposite. Curtains had to be closed the whole time. The shower room is extremely dangerous (with or without kids). No grip on a marble floor. My child slid whilst I tried to shower her and I also slid on exiting the shower room. Location was helpful as it’s centrally located. Not the worst stay but these are issues we had. The restaurant staff were nicer than the hotel staff. Big portions and buffet breakfast was ok. I found the other guests rather stuck up and rude and somewhat full of themselves.

This hotel has a nice gym, a comfortable bed, good parking. Indoor Pool is nice but was usually occupied with locals doing selfies. Breakfast was sub-par, compared to other Accor properties, didn't seem fresh or professionally prepared. Hotel room was designed well, washing machine and full kitchen in the suite. The shower had a bit of mildew on the grout and tiles. Checkout took almost 30 minutes due to confusion about free breakfast. The hotel made an error then decided to make me wait around while they researched it. As a long time Accor member, I was disappointed with the wasting of my time.

The best service apartment in Manila. Good value. I have tried them all. And I live in service apartments. Unit size is great. Furnishings great. Refrig. and Washer dryer great. Staff is exceptional. They do need to improve: Put soft foam mattress toppers on the rock hard beds. Fix steam room doors to keep the steam in. Change the weak stoves that can barely boil water. Add sharp knives and better cookware - and give better supply of dishes and glasses. Hotter water that allows a real bath. And most important - AC varies from unit to unit - it needs to be much colder and stronger.

Location is very good, less than 5 min walk to podium, less than 10 mins to Robinsons, you can cross the street from podium to megamall. Very good for shopping, good restaurants, near banks and atms.

They have a very good brunch type breakfast buffet.

Staff is friendly.

Amenities are good, although we did not use some of them. There was an oven, stove top, microwave, good size refrigerator, washer dryer combo. Dryer takes 3 hours to dry. I recommend just to hang the clothes. Good size closets and storage. They have an extra tv in the bathroom. They give 2 free water bottles per day.

Cons: there was ongoing construction during our stay, we were at 16th floor unfortunately construction was same level and side as us. They were working till 3 am! There was also a big convention going on so it took four days for another room to be available. Our toilet clogged 3 times!

We asked to be moved to a different room but because the hotel was full our next room only had a queen bed. We paid extra for a bigger room that was quite nice around 80 plus square meters, around 800 square feet. King sized bed. It had ceiling to floor glass windows on two sides including the bathroom. Great views. Also had a free standing tub. It was worth the extra upgrade fee. Of course it would have been even nicer if it was free.

Also the massage therapist can do room service!

We stayed stayed for 7 nights, 4 nights in the bad room, 3 nights in the great room. Total upgrade cost$90

I really enjoyed my stay at the Nostalg Hotel, my stay was nine nights. I arrived after normal check in time, everything was ready once I arrived. During my stay all the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had especially the hotel front desk staff of Micher, Karen, Pamela and Michiko.

I had a minor water leak in the restroom, called the front desk, they sent an engineer (Victor) once he arrive, he checked it and then replaced a valve. All was completed in a short time, Victor was professional and friendly during the process.

The restaurant was excellent, I ate several meals there during my time at the hotel including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinning staff was very professional and always offering to assist and checking, if we needed anything. The dinning staff that I came to know best were Don, Kaye, Kristen and Anton all were most helpful to us as he add our meals at the hotel restaurant.

There was many times when other hotel staff went out of their way to assist us as we came back to the hotel from shopping, carrying bags or looking for directions where a business was located near or far from the hotel, Marlon, Dino and Blu were my main contacts at the hotel, all were very professional and helpful during my stay.

Transportation using a private car from the hotel was most helpful, Nicole was my contact, she would have the car ready on time and make sure there was a car available to pick us up.

I reserved 2 rooms for my sister & her husband, & their 2 daughters & 1 son. its was her 50th on june 24th. I JUST want them to EXPERIENCE how it is to STAY in a LUXURIOUS place ( we are POOR).

We love this hotel!

We always stay here everytime we get back from the US! We love how spacious the room is and how generous the hotel in providing stuff the guests need. There’s equipped kitchen, dining, living room area and a bedroom. We love the toilet with steam bath, a huge bath tub and just so big and spacious. They got tons of storage cabinets and closet too perfect for staying short and long time. Close to groceries, malls, restos etc. love the gym and indoor pool. Desk staff are quick, helpful and courteous. Will stay here again and refer it to friends!

I felt like the President, every entrance was guarded by a shot gun. Metal scanners everywhere. That was the only negative I had. Everything else was perfect.

Very Nice Location and amenities

It was close to nuermous malls and had very good amenities. Staff was excellent and wanted for nothing. Washing machine a plus and simmining pool area very well maintained. Will stafy there again.

Cigarette smoke

Room assigned to us has significant cigarette smoke odor, esp I n the bathroom. Hotel staff was very attentive in trying to eradicate the foul scent, and took 3 days before odor dissipated (1 day before checking out). Unfortunately, my son contracted upper respiratory infection as his asthma was triggered by the cigarette odor in the room.

Brilliant Hotel

Love it! Returned already several times. Luxurous rooms with kitchen and bathroom with bath tube. Quiet and lots of space! In the middle of Ortigas where shops and restaurants around.

Great location but housekeeping needs improvement

Great location across the street from ADB HQ and within a close walking distance to Robinsons Galleria and SM Megamall, both of which have grocery stores making it easy to get supplies for the kitchenette in the room. The in-room washing machine/dryer was a great bonus. The management offers many activities for guests (e.g. trivia night) and sends out flyers to inform guests which is very nice. The furnishings in the room were very luxe, however cleanliness and housekeeping consistency need some improvement. Knobs were bent and falling off the furniture. Upon arrival, kitchen pans still had food on them and the bottom of the glasses were stained with wine, all of which came off with personal cleaning. Bathroom towel replacement was inconsistent; somedays no foot mat provided; one day two hand towels, other days one hand towel; some days wash clothes, some days none. The shower floor tiles appear as though they are falling apart and have something discoloring the corners. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to others, but I hope the housekeeping improves.

Breakfast Buffet Galore

Make sure to wake up early for breakfast! You'll regret missing it! They have a fantastic breakfast buffet, a lot of options to choose from. Cleanliness is wondeful. I loved the tall windows in the rooms which gave me a fantastic view of the metropolis. If you're opting for a tub, make sure you request it otherwise you'll get a shower only option even if the room description says it has a tub
