Ibis Styles Reims was just fine, not luxurious, but comfortable and exactly what you need if you’re mainly there to sleep. The staff were friendly, and the location is great, with everything within easy reach. A convenient and pleasant stay overall.

Upon arrival the elevator was broken and remained broken our entire stay. The pictures are very deceiving on the website. The hotel is short of a hostel. Should have booked at the Marriott down the street instead .

Really great location for exploring Reims. About 15 minutes’ walk from the train station, 10 minutes from the cathedral, and only a stone’s throw from evening drinks in Place Stalingrad.
Room was comfortable and quiet, with effective air conditioning. Breakfast was included and had an excellent selection - we particularly liked the loose leaf teas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cold filtered water was available from the foyer. WiFi was good throughout our stay.

The service at this hotel was amazing. Kinga was especially great. The location is fantastic for all the local activities. The rooms are very small, but that is probably because of our American standards of larger rooms. No coffee in room which sucks. Breakfast was fantastic. Not so sure about boiling you own eggs though, would have preferred reaxy made, but this way, you can.cook them to the doneness that.you like, i guess. I know brits like 5 minute eggs. The popcorn ceilings and walls could use an update because that looks super 80s. There needs to be more art along the walls, hallways, and in the stair corridor as it looked a little sparse. Great stay, would stay again.

Serious mold problem on ceiling
Staffs were friendly and helpful. Room and toilet ceiling has serious mold problem, spider web were obvious. Room space is good enough for 1 big and 1 small suitcases. Breakfast choices were ok standard, serving time is long until 11pm. Public parking is just outside until the bridge for free at night. We stayed for 1 night for stopover and visited the town for a few hours. If we didn't plan to visit the town for a bit, I would just go for a budget Ibis instead, at least there weren't any mold on ceiling while you are sleeping with the window closed.

Good 1-night stopover
We had a very good 1-night stay here as a stopover to the Channel crossing. The hotel is very careful with Covid arrangements, including requiring masks and having hand sanitiser available at various points around the hotel, which helped us feel secure (though some management of the breakfast buffet to avoid people crowding each other would be welcome).
The room was basic but fine: comfortable bed, clean bathroom. An extra pillow would have been nice as only one per person is provided.

Average stay, lack of capacity during breakfast
The room was ok, pretty basic. The problem is that the hotel doesn't have enough capacity for the breakfast. There was a queue of guests waiting for tables, there was of course queue to get the food/beverages, some options were missing as well, one type of bread had finished the two days I was there, the orange juice machine stopped working because they needed to empty it and there was nobody to do it, some people had to ask for knifes. Also, they were giving everyone one plastic glove to be used when getting something on the buffet, it just makes things messier and in terms of COVID, I think it's even worse.

Good location for expoloring Reims. Basic hotel but there was somewhere to store our bikes and easy cheap parking right next to the hotel. The Brasserie Boulingrin is definitely worth a trip - buzzy good atmosphere and excellent food. We had snails and bone marrow on toast! Lots of wine by the glass. The Cathedral is a 10 minute walk.

Not as close to the main bars and restaurants as we have stayed before in Reims. But ideal stop over on way back to the UK. Room was massive we opted for a family room as was traveling with 2 dogs. Secure parking if needed but over the road a massive public car park less then half the price. About a 10 min walk over the flyover was a huge park ideal for the dogs to stretch their legs after traveling across France. If you just need somewhere to rest and refresh on a budget then this hotel is ideal but not as central as the name suggests.

But - not really suitable for families unless you can work around two double beds. Despite booking a double and two singles we were told on arrival that they only have doubles. Also no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

I have traveled all over Europe and 9 out of 10 times it is with an Accor brand. This time I wasn't very impressed with my choice. The rooms were very small and not comfortable at all. No refrigerator, no safe and the air didn't work. Thank goodness the window opened, but then the flies joined us. So window had to be closed. I haven't given up on the Accor brand, just with the Ibis in Reims.

Great place to stay for two nights. Easy acces if your driving down to Rheims for a champagne visit. Lots of restaurants , nice shops to browse. Champagne caves are easily accessible either by cab or walking. Visit the tourist office for info before you start for maps and info on booking visits etc. Easy to get the train to Epernay for any visits.

It was a pleasant hotel with not too bad a location for main streets of the city. The drawback was that with several business people the actual drinking bar of the hotel was not very efficient, lack of correct size glasses etc and not a very good selection of drinks. Overall it was not too bad and breakfast etc was adequate for this type of hotel.

This was mainly an overnight stop. It was very easy to find the hotel and there is a choice of parking: hotel's own car park (€11) or the local car park opposite (free on Sunday). There is not a huge amount to do in Reims, but we did buy Champagne from the shop in the cathedral square.

This hotel is about ten minutes walk from the cathedral and eating strip, and twenty minutes walk from the station. The room on the 4th floor was very tight for floor space and the bed only a double. The breakfast buffet provided a wide range of good quality food.

The rooms were absolutely tiny! By the time the sofa bed was out for our daughter and we had a pram in the room there was barely room to walk around.
The air conditioning wouldn't go below 19 and the room was very warm meaning a restless night. We had to leave all the windows open but this was hardly ideal as the flyover was about 10metree from our window and at the same height as our room. And it appeared this flyover was common for walkers even at 3-5am. We could hear their entire conversation.
No wardrobe space, no iron, no tea coffee making, 1 lift so waiting a while for that, the list goes on.
We booked to be close to the centre of Reims which it was (well 8-10min walk) but the walk back from the town centre in the evening was dark and and a bit secluded. We didn't feel all that safe to be honest.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel en route from Provence to Calais. The rooms are all currently being upgraded to include air conditioning. We had requested a car park space (the car park is fairly small) and booking in was smooth-helped by a very efficient and friendly lady on reception. The rooms are clean, adequately sized as are the bathrooms. The provision of facilities to make yourself hot drinks in the lounge was very welcome. We took advantage of this several times! the position is fine; easy to reach from the motorway and walking distance into the centre.

When we arrived the hotel was being renovated, no electricity and workmen everywhere. It turned out not to be too big a problem as the staff where very helpfull. The bed was very comfortable,the space between the bed and the TV was a bit of a squeeze and there was not much leg room in the toilet. Apart from those few moans our stay was good mainly down to the staff . Would stay again.

The Ibis Styles Reims Centre Cathédrale proved to be an excellent choice of stop-over hotel on our way from the Alps to the Channel Tunnel.
Our room was completely new...we could smell the new paint though not in any off-putting way. The room was pristine and comfortable, the bathroom facilities very good indeed.
We arrived - our son and family were also travelling and had booked overnight - on a Saturday evening. The hotel restaurant is not open for dinner at weekends; we could not eat out because of our young grandchildren being in bed. The receptionist on duty recommended a good pizza shop, gave us directions and, when we arrived back with our take-out, provided plates and cutlery. All this in addition to staffing the bar to provide us with drinks.
The breakfast room was beautifully set out with real flower plant on each table as well as chocolate Easter eggs at each place for Easter Sunday morning.
We were only disappointed that we did not have time to explore the city, especially the cathedral which we could see just up the street. We actually intend to go back some time soon to spend a couple of days in Reims. We will certainly book into the Ibis Styles Reims Centre Cathédrale again when we do.
