There were broken tiles in the bathroom, the shower overflowed the small lip into the rest of the bathroom, the room was musty and the last bit of path to the room consisted of some plastic panels covering a pipe of which many were damaged. The hotel was in a good position for the train station.

The front desk staff was very nice and courteous. However, the overall condition of the hotel was very poor and badly in need of updating. The picture on Expedia is not reflective of the rooms. With caution other travelers against using this hotel in the future.

In a great position in the city very close to the cathedral, bars and restaurants.
Street parking is expensive, so ask the receptionist for a ticket for town hall parking 3 mins walk away, underground and €15 a night.

The property is just okay. We did not like the room were initially given. It was on the ground floor with no windows. It was very dark and didn’t feel clean. We asked for a different room and it was better but still not great. It was funky. The hotel needs a major upgrade. That said, the location is convenient for walking. The staff member was very nice and helpful. Would not stay there again. We left a day early and did not ask for a refund.

The hotel was dirty. Carpets crusted with dirt, rooms not cleaned properly. The toilet failed so we had to change rooms at 11pm and we were told by the staff that they had had the same problem the week before. The room we were moved to was equally dirty, a broken radiator cover, and the toilet cistern was not secured to the wall. I have photographs of all of this. At breakfast (minimal and poor quality) we overheard another couple complaining that their shower did not work. The only redeeming feature is that it is located in the centre of Reims. We were booked for two nights but left after one and found another hotel.

Lovely small hotel, centrally located, right next to bars and brasseries. The rooms are comfortable, and the bathroom and toilets are separate which is handy if you share a room.

The staff were all brilliant; from the evening front desk gentleman to the night security staff and the lady who checked us out the next morning - everyone was super nice and friendly.

There is a car park located a 2 mins walk away, which the hotel has access cards for, for a small fee.

Overall a great experience, and great service, highly recommended.

The local area was quiet despite lots of good restaurants and bars close by and within easy walking distance to attractions, park and shopping area.

The hotel is lacking for a 3 star hotel. The room I was given was in need of some major work. AC didn’t work at all nor the vent/fan to circulate air. Good thing was that it wasn’t hot outside and left the windows open all night. Only one light was working in the bathroom. Other lightbulbs were out in the room. The bathtub/shower didn’t drain water well at all so I had a foot bath while showering. Last, the breakfast buffet was one of the worst I’ve ever had and paid 26€ for honestly leftover food and sugary laced apple and/or orange juice. Pictures from other booking websites are misleading. Best to get breakfast elsewhere. Besides all the negatives, bed was good and sleep was just fine with windows open. If just needing a quick and close place to downtown to stay in Reims, for a fairly cheap price, it will work.

You can do much better in Reims

This was a big disappointment. The room we were supposed to have was given to someone else, so we were given a tiny room with slanted walls on the top floor (I thought of the Little Princess being banished to the attic). Breakfast was extra (12 euros pp) for just a so-so spread. One of the cleaning ladies took a champagne glass I had gotten from a tour (luckily they found it). Keep looking.

I left my make bag in the room , i called them 4 hours after we left with expensive perfumes and makeup they said it wasnt their.
Totally not right as we were driving so we only stepped out into the car.
We stripped the car it wasnt there it was on sink i. hotel.

The hotel has a 3 star rating, but I don't see how. It is a basic family owned franchise hotel. When we first arrived the toilet smelled of urine. We were not sure of the cleaning, especially given the COVID situation. We told the staff in the morning that no service was required, but the room was entered, beds made, etc. At least the toilet was cleaned and no longer smelled.

The room had an odor of cigarettes, even though the room is non-smoking, as if someone before had attempted to smoke out of the window.

The side of the hotel that faces the street with the restaurant might be problematic for some as it stays open late, as most pub type places do, and the patrons sitting outside become increasingly louder as the drinks flow, continuing past closing, and potentially past midnight.

The staff was helpful, and the younger staff spoke French and English, while the older staff member seemed to have difficulties with both.

Parking is on the street (pay until 19:00, free until 09:00 the next morning, free on Sunday, or at a city garage a couple of blocks away.

All in all, it's OK, if you only going to be there to sleep, but the not worth the cost. If you are concerned about COVID, suggest a larger facility that is more likely to adhere to the suggested guidelines.

Enjoyable Small Hotel for Stay in Reims

I chose this hotel primarily because of location not far from train station and reasonable price with included breakfast. First, the young college age staff were all very friendly, helpful, and could speak excellent English. Our room was a little small but comfortable and clean. The breakfasts offered good variety and were tasty. There are many good restaurants nearby. It was nice that we could have a glass of champagne served to us from their small bar area and enjoy it as a nightcap. This hotel is a good option for a few nights in Reims and we would return in future.

The pictures and the reality of the room I got different quite a lot. It’s often, solo travelers get small rooms in a Europe, however this one was small, the shower was no space to move arms, the linen were overused and stained, the overall perception of the room did not may pictures, previous reviews and price paid with enough anticipation.

Great hotel but lousy beds.

Everything was really good except for the beds. They were hard and the springs were sticking out of the mattress. My sister and I woke up feeling winded due to the soreness on our ribs and back. I have to go to the osteopath now to fix my back. My sister and I are not prone to back/rib problems. The hotel is in a great spot and the staff are friendly.

I was very disappointed as I came from Colmar hotel which is 3 stars too. It’s like night and day. I was given a dark and musty room and ask for a change. The room is better. Lots of creaking as people go on the stairs. Chip in bath tub, sink area need restoration. No kettle as I did have in Colmar with all the amenities and even expresso machine and sumptuous breakfast included.

Sheets were clean, towels clean. The bathroom was dirty in all the corners, the skirting were very dusty and the toile was the same with unwioed marks in the door and wall. 2hen we reached the landing of the 1st floor the carpets were filthy which did not bode well!!! It did not look like the picture which showed a basic clean room. Could not wait to get out of there. We got there a little arly after driving all day and there were loads of people sent outside to wait 1.5 hours to check in. There was no parking as advertised. You had to park on the street with parking restrictions. I would not recommend this hotel.

During our stay my friend suffered a fall at the tram stop near the cathedral. His condition deteriorated at the hotel. The front desk staff were very quick to assist with calling an ambulance, translation for the ambulance officers and getting the patient to hospital. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I really do not recommend this hotel in Reims. I often travel to this city (1 to 3 times a year for a week) and this is the worst hotel I have been to in this city.

The hotel is not very modern and the rooms are far away from the pictures presented on the website. I have not found the charm of the picture at all. Given the price, I think there is better in Reims or equivalent but cheaper.

The rooms are very poorly insulated, you can hear your neighbor breathing. Tranquility is impossible. I take this opportunity to say that the staff would need some welcoming and politeness lessons: do not cut the talk, do not take people high, do not take people for a******e and just try to to apologize rather than being defensive (lesson # 1 of good customer service). The behavior of the person at the reception was really disrespectful.

The wifi is phenomenally slow for a French city in 2019.

The bedding is old and worn, there is a hollow in the middle of my mattress. They present a memory form mattress, well clearly it has kept the form of all the other people who have slept in the room.

Overall, I do not recommend this hotel which for me is expensive compared to the amenities. Above all, there is more modern, more welcoming and less expensive in the few streets around.

Well located for visits to the cathedral and other sights and several restaurants within easy walking distance. Only minutes from the rail station also.

It's all very compact, so the reception area doubles as the breakfast room, which is served 5am to 11am ! Plenty of food. Receptionist was very fast and pleasant. Rooms are compact but we did not spend much time in them. Some with shower cabinet only and would have been good to have a shelf there for shampoo etc.... only the floor available. Fortunately the quarterly chimes from the top of city hall are silenced early in the evening. A very pleasant hotel to stay in.

The staff here was super friendly. If you are staying in Reims you can get a small discount on the champagne tours so have them reserve for you. Great neighborhood easy walking to everywhere including tram, car rental, the train station that doesn't seem to take you anywhere. They even have an elevator. The bed was comfortable, overall a great stay. I don't eat breakfast but people seemed to be enjoying it.

This is a good value for the money for the most part. Accommodations are basic, but clean. Floors are not carpeted so you can hear people walking around in the rooms above you but I did not find this to be a problem. All was quiet at night.
Breakfast would have been more than adequate had it been included in my room rate but I found it a bit overpriced for the 12 euros I was charged.

Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. Front desk was always manned with very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a lift. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Road construction near this hotel made parking a challenge. Street parking near the hotel was metered during the day. A nearby parkhouse was very difficult to navigate to with street repairs. Hotel is in a nice location otherwise. Good value.

Lovely lady checked us in and was very helpful. Booked 3 rooms, rooms were very small but as the building was an old building and they had fitted in enquires this was to be expected. One of the shower cubicles was very small, to small. Continental breakfast was fine, homemade jams, lovely fresh bread, croissants etc. Cook your own soft boiled eggs. Charcuterie and cheeses. Bar service whenever you require it. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking dominates!

The hotel is good enough; a fairly centrally positioned, simple hotel with clean satisfactory rooms. You know, nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about. However...... it’s one big disadvantage is the absence of Hotel parking. There is on road parking, but it has a time limit of 2 hrs 15 mins after which you should move your vehicle ( if you just put another ticket on it you risk a penalty) which applies from 0900-1200 & 1400-1900 . This dominated our visit and, frankly, spoilt our afternoon in Rheims. So, although the hotel is fine, I would look for one with parking, even if further out, next time.

My review is just to push them to do better. My time to the hotel was good but just disappointed for few things. Air conditioner was not working,I had breakfast and bread and pain au chocolate were not fresh but from the day before. Also if you have space for your customer to park a motorbike,should be a free service like wi-fi but i’ve been charged 5 euro

My only complaint was that the hotel has no parking so we had to find parking on the street and pay at the meter between 9am and 7pm. In fairness, I should have asked about this when booking the hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Construction across the street which made the view less than ideal, but it was not noticeably noisy. Location was a few blocks from the main pedestrian street with all the restaurants and bars and a few blocks from the cathedral, so ideal. Room was as expected for the price, no problems. TV channels did not include BBC or any English speaking, but we didn't miss it. I would stay there again when in Reims.

The location is within a reasonable walk to the gare and restaurants. Breakfast is not inexpensive but very good. Had to pay them to get a couple champagne glasses for the room but oh well, bubbly is THE thing, so... Big construction across street — not sure if it is an issue because we were there on weekend and there was no activity. Most staff were very nice. Room was fine.

Lots of parking

Lots of parking spaces around hotel depending on time of day the price could be expensive, parked up at 3 in afternoon paid for 5 hours parking at Euro an hour expiry time was 11 in morning also parking spaces are for residents and tourist so you may find it tricky to find spot near hotel, I think we were lucky to find one in street behind hotel only a 200 metre walk

Great Value in Center of the City

First nite in France and we were looking for lodging close to center of the city. We were very satisfied with the hotel. Staff spoke English and had solutions for parking and getting around the city. Most importantly, they had a lift so we didn't need to carry cases up stairs. The breakfast was tasty and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not recommended...

The first clue I had was that the trash from the previous guest was still in the bathroom trash can. Eeew. The mattress sagged BOTH from top to bottom and middle to edge; very uncomfortable. Someone(s) have been sleeping on it for years... The bathroom smelled strongly of mold; there were distinct black smears in the grout on the tub walls..The desk chair seat was not actually attached to the chair... There was no mini-frig in the room; there was a cabinet under the desk where one haaad been, but it was removed. The hotel staff were at best indifferent; e.g., they seemed a bit put out when I asked for assistance in making a local call for reservations for a champagne tasting tour (whose brochure I got from their lobby), and took care of another couple who interrupted the middle of my check-in process...The WC was just that -- a closet (an afterthought). No windows, no fan, no sink, no sound-proofing (most unfortunate for any roommate). You have to exit the WC and walk around the bed to get to the bathroom that has the sink and the bathtub. ....The petit dejuener was limited and unappealing -- pale, slimy-looking cold cuts, etc. but alas, no mini frig to create my own good options (I just left my yogurt out on the ledge overnight to chill.).. On the plus side, this hotel is in a great location -- very quiet; close to center, railroad station, shopping, and great neighborhood restaurants; and it's cheap.

Very nice hotel in a good location

Good hotel in centre of Reims you can walk to most places and there are lots of places to eat within a 10 minute walk staff very nice and helpful and you can park in a car park 5 minutes away

The good and bad

The good - room was clean, breakfast had great variety and reasonably priced. Pleasant staff.

The bad - They removed most of the furniture to stuff 2 single beds around the double bed in a room that was designed for just the double. Very cramped. Saw the missing furniture outside in the courtyard. TV was on top of 7 foot cabinet, too high to be of any use. 4 adults in a shoe box, poor experience.

The hotel is clean but showing a need for some sprucing up. We slept well and the breakfast was good. I would recommend it to someone who is concerned with saving a few euro.
