A basic hotel which is adequate for a one night stopover. The bed was large & comfortable but the room was small and dated. The shower room was a reasonable size with a good shower. Staff were friendly, the restaurant was pleasant & the meal was good. When we arrived and opened the door to our room there was a dreadful smell of drains. We ran the washbasin tap and the shower tap & opened the windows and the smell eventually disappeared! There was free wifi and free parking which was a bonus! I would probably choose a different hotel if visiting Reims again.

Hotel is a good budget stop over, friendly staff not too expensive. Restaurant OK but very quiet with strange opening hours (empty but couldn’t have avtable for dinner until 9pm??). There is only one person working during office hours and they are slow, not knowledged about the hotel and rude.

For many years we loved the Campanile evening meals. After the format was changed the standard really went downhill and we always had supper elsewhere. We decided to try once more and we were very happy to find that the buffet choice was much improved and the standard of the main course much higher than it has been for some time.

We used this as a stopover hotel. I only expected a descent room. What we got was the the smallest room I have ever seen. We had three guests so I expected a three person room. What we got was a two person room with an additional cot. Walls are like paper the occupants next door might as well have been in our room. I shouldn't have stayed there.

Situated among shopping outlets near a ring road (not the city centre), this is a rather dated motel-type hotel, but the room was clean and we slept well as it is very quiet (also has external shutter). Useful that they also provide coffee & tea in the rooms.

A trip to Reims
Purpose of the visit was to visit the champagne region. The hotel was very near to the tram terminal into the heart of Reims this included a park and rde facility which was free. The hotel was very good for its links to main motorways. Reims is a beautiful town with lots of interesting sights etc. The surrounding area is well worth a visit with various WW1 sights and of course various vineyards.

This hotel was the basic Campanile and had the latest food offering which needs to improve to past standards. No problems with location or staff but again a 12 tog quilt for summer.

Good overnight hotel to break up a journey.
We used the hotel as a stopover from Annecy to Calais. It was way to find in the south of the city. Parking was easy and check in took less than a minute. We were from car to bed in 5 minutes with a cup of tea in the room. A clean and comfortable bed and a clean and comfortable bathroom made it a good and economical place to stopover.

The location was convenient for access to and from the motorway.
We chose this Campanile because it was reported to have a restaurant.
Unfortunately for us, it was out of action because it was being re-furbished so we had to search round for a meal.

Stop off on way home
We used this hotel as a stop off on our way home. We arrived late due to the traffic however the reception was still open. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was good value for money.

Misleading advertising
Car park wasn't secure in any way. Even F1 Hotels which we often use have a secure and locked compound for cars overnight. We decided to treat ourselves and weren't pleased with value for money. Also photo of breakfast showed hot cooked breakfast when in fact it was just a cold buffet. Misleading and at 10 euros overpriced. Will stick to F1 in future.

Campanile gave value without sacrificing standards
The hotel was in a quiet location on a retail park. Room was a very good size with large bathroom. The restaurant was large and provided great value, with good food. Breakfast choice was excellent. The friendly reception staff had good English which was a bonus to offset my schoolboy French. We felt welcome and the service would not have been out of place in a large, four-star city hotel.

The motel/hotel exceeded expectations, although difficult to find. The rooms were small but provided such a comfortable bed and brilliant pillows and with tea and coffe facilities we had a great one night stay. The evening food was also good although not brilliant but individual free parking was a plus
