Quick overnight stop, but very run down and really, I guess just a stopover for working people in the area.

This was a stopover en-route to Italy. It’s fine for a stopover but I wouldn’t use it as a base for a holiday, personally.

I should have not expected much for the price paid, but this was not up to the 3.4 out of 5 rating. I have no idea how it is so highly rated. I would give it a 2 star rating at best. The rooms are tiny. The loft bed is hot and hard to get to and maneuver. The bathroom is old which gives an appearance of not clean although it may have been clears. I couldn’t wait to leave.

A standard, old-style French chain hotel. The buildings are getting tired, but the (small) room was fine, the beds comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The location is very convenient for the Autoroutes and the centre of Reims and the grounds of the hotel were OK, but it's in an industrial/commercial area that is not particularly attractive. Verdict: for the price we paid, we were satisfied and would stay there again.

Tired and hungry and disappointed
I booked the hotel as a stopover on our return home from our holiday so I could visit Reims cathedral. I have used Kyriad hotels previously and been happy with our visits. This time however the hotel reception and the exterior of the hotel looked quite run down and not like the pictures I'd seen before booking. We were disappointed to learn that we would not find an alternative to their menu for dinner for my husband who is a vegetarian. We were directed to our room through a garden which was over grown and in need of much attention. The room while adequate was cramped and very hot. because of the state of the garden when we opened the window and door we were invaded with insects. The bathroom was not passable but in need of a deep clean and the door lock stuck requiring my husband to release me from the outside after I couldn't get out. Bed was comfortable thank goodness and the breakfast was plentiful but no staff in attendance so if you needed anything you had to sort it out or rely on other guests. We will not use this hotel again.

A friends group for a weekend stay. The distance to Reims Centre meant use of own cars or taxis - the taxis cost approx 40 euros per car per journey.
Facilities were acceptable but due to the high temperature the lack of air conditioning meant hot nights in the rooms.

Stayed here on our way to Nice just to sleep. Checked in at two am, which we arranged with the hotel beforehand.
Room clean and quiet. Our 6 year old had a bed on a platform in the roof which he accessed via a small ladder!

Great for people with a car
Good hotel or really a motel. The location of the hotel really caters for drivers. You will need to drive to the centre of Reims although the you may be bale to walk to the Pommery champagne cellars. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and the staff were very helpful. Although we didn't eat there as we wanted to explore the town the restaurant looked very good. All in all a very good motel / hotel and for the price it was amazing.

If you get a good price stay (€50 or less). The location is fine and the staff are friendly. A large Carrefour is a ten minute walk away and you could walk into the old town if keen. Food is ok. Rooms are basic, but as I said, if the price is right you can't complain.

Excellent location for a quick stopover with good motorway transport links. Situated in an industrial estate but very quiet at weekends. Beware restaurant closed Sat and Sun.

Overall this hotel has all you need for a short stay near to reims, kettle, bath, internet, soft pillows ( the first ones we had on our 3week trip ) and comfy bed, with a late check out of 12 noon and free parking all included in the excellent price.

Rooms quite small, nowhere to put bags, set out like a motel but path runs past door so cannot have fresh air and privacy. Looks quite old and a little shabby. Have stayed at other Kyriads and they were better - Rouen for one. Restaurant closed as advised but minimal advice offered to find restaurant near by - basically you had to head into town.

Great hotel for a family of 4 stop on the way to French Alps. Basic room, but clean and comfortable. Well priced. Double bed plus two beds on mezzanine within the same room. Area was quiet, and parking at the hotel no problem. Pretty close to the motorway so easy to get in and out off the main route. Will definitely use again. We're late getting going so didn't sample breakfast.
