The property is in need of major updating. We were on the 19th floor and the elevators stopped working. We barely heard the fire alarm. We went to check out because we didn’t feel safe there and their “system” was down. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

My stay at the clairidge was not the best
The phone in my room cord had been cut. The shower door had no rubber on it door almost slid compleaty off. No microwave the ice machine on the sixteenth floor was broken had to go to the 14th floor to get ice system went down key cards would not work to get in rooms and last but not lease when checking out system was still down I could not get receipt for my stay and was told that I would get it as an email and 24 hours later I have not received it yet. Hotel needs a new lift and updates.
Had valet service $35 at a certain hour could not get hour car.

Nice place for a quick stay clean rooms easy to get everyone walking or driving… pool should just stay open a little later for adults but other then that wasn’t bad at all beds comfortable air worked well mine fridge work just the shower water knob was weird the hot water was at the cold and the cold was at the hot

The valet was wonderful...everything else was awful. The place is outdated stained. The police and security had to remove people at 330am. The pool was cloudy and warm... stay at your own risk

No microwave in the room. When I checked in I was a prisoner to my room for the first 4 hours. The air conditioner did not work in the room. I gave it an hour, called the front desk, waited for someone to come, then they had to go get a screwdriver, and then waited again for them to come back and then they said they couldn't fix it. Then I waited for them to find me another room and I had to go down to the front desk stand online again to get a new key go to the new room and find out the refrigerator didn't work and then I had to wait for them to bring another refrigerator.

I’m a regular guest of this hotel mainly because of its close proximity to the boardwalk and the shops. In my opinion a little bit more attention can be paid to the upkeep. This time around my stay was a bit disappointing as the Wi-Fi was down. Reportedly they recently changed their carrier….

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is centrally located and close to the beach; plus, Bally's Casino is right next door, and there are restaurants on-site (including a donut shop). And there is an indoor pool .You should be aware that parking costs $15 per day, and you may have to wait up to 30 minutes for the elevators—especially when there are events taking place. The beds are on the small side, and—most importantly—the rooms do not have microwaves

Rooms with double beds were nice, clean and the HVAC worked great. Ice machines worked! Conveniently close to the boardwalk when you walk right out the front door.

Parking isn’t free if you have a reservation. It’s was an additional $15 during my stay. I don’t know if this price fluctuates during the week or on weekends.

My only complaint is the elevators. They’re slow and too few, for the amount of rooms and floors here. My room and view was great on the 18th floor, but I had to wait about 20-25 minutes for 1 of 4 elevators to get to me, each time I wanted to go somewhere. That’s a terrible wait time.

The room was neat, clean and comfortable. Only complaints: there were coffee pods, etc., but no coffee machine, and the internet would not connect. Other than that, a great value for the money. Much less expensive than Caesars or Ballys next door. Had a show at Caesars and wanted to be nearby.

We have stay here any of times. For being on the boardwalk/beach, you can't beat the price. The only this about the hotel are that the elevators are slow and when you need to leave on a Sunday, it will be a long wait.

At first I was a little standoff-ish. It felt out dated. But once we got to our suite I was more impressed. We stayed in the jacuzzi in room suite and it was very pleasant. Of course with a historical feel! Very clean! The roof top bar was very convenient, Cheese steak rolls and passion fruit margaritas, came in the clutch for the late night! Overall we enjoyed our stay and had no complaints.

Confusing with elevator with lobby versus parking garage . Loved that you could move from Claridge to Bally , Wild Wold West and Caesars. Especially since it was rainy weekend . Check in was early and staff very helpful. Rooms satisfactory . Very convenient if you are attending an event at the boardwalk hall.

I paid for a jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi didn’t work. They moved me to another jacuzzi room and that jacuzzi didn’t work. I got charge for a jacuzzi room and had a normal room and I’m having trouble being compensated for the difference in price. It’s my birthday weekend. Very disappointed.

First of all the phone to the room was disconnected second of all the plugs that the lamps had you cannot plug in your cell phone because the holes were so freaking big that you had to plug your cell phone away from you and I’m used to sleeping with my cell phone next to my head on the nightstand you couldn’t even plug it into the wall because the drawer of the nightstand only opened so much in your hand wouldn’t fit in there to be able to plug the cell phone so I’m sorry but my stay at the Claridge sucked and I will never stay there again. I’d rather pay a little more stay at a place that is worth it. this was not worth it. Thank you.

My husband and I had a nice stay. Right on the water. Beautiful ocean view. Easy access to the boardwalk and beach. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Didn’t like that there wasn’t any available microwave in the room or in a common area….small in convenience. The hotel definitely had an antique feel. But the staff were all very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The roof top restaurant was a nice touch and Jerry the bartender made awesome drinks. Overall we had a relaxing time and would go back again for a nice quick getaway.

I liked the fact that the hotel was clean. My only complaint was that there was no battery in the TV remote and it lacked the battery back cover. The engineer came in a timely fashion put a battery in the TV remote, but no battery back cover. Other than that no other complaints

Longest check-in wait in years, even though not many in line. Each day for three days, housekeeping forgot bath towels. One day, housekeeping didn’t tend room at all. (We were out until 3:45pm. That’s when housekeeping arrived. We were exhausted. I asked them to return in an hour when we would be out again. They agreed but didn’t come. I asked the front desk to send them. We returned at 9pm to no housekeeping and no clean towels.) I called to request towels. Front desk disconnected me 3x. (I heard someone pick up the receiver each time before the line went dead.) On the fourth try, I held for ~5min before someone answered. The gentleman told me I was wrong, they hadn’t disconnected anybody. I requested towels. It was 9:30pm. By 10:30pm, still no towels. I called again. They arrived by 11pm. (See below.)

Physical facility & appointments decades overdue for renovation. Our room. Dim lighting. Half of electrical sockets are too worn to make contact with plugs. Phone receiver didn’t fit in base. Marble tabletops: sticky stains, loose from moorings. Oceanfront window translucent from salt and sand. Daughter thought bathroom smelled like pancake batter. No WiFi for all three days.

Hotel attaches to a cannabis dispensary. Marijuana-smoke smell common. In lobby. On 11th floor. When housekeeping delivered towels, the place where he had been holding the towels smelled of marijuana smoke.

Engineering was very responsive to a dangerous issue with a sliding glass shower door.

I wrote a lengthy review earlier today overall, I would say my stay was awful and I’ll never stay at the Claridge Hotel again. Very Poor shower drainage, LOUD squealing noises continuously from in the wall and / or plumbing system. All of this after being switched from one shabby room to another. Who has time to play musical rooms? Yes, I settled for it but I was very much unhappy about it also disappointed. Claridge Hotel do better !!

The hotel was clean. I was even able to check in early thanks to the staff. The rooms were clean and I enjoyed that it was connected to the casino so I didn’t even have to leave the hotel if I didn’t want to. There is a Dunkin donuts inside (limited menu), and the hotel has 2 restaurants. One on the 6th floor and the other on the 23rd floor. The elevators took forever but not too frustrating. You can leave out the casino and go directly to the boardwalk and beach which is great. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

The wait, the fact that only two were running and the noises coming from those two made it very uneasy. The water pressure was extremely low. The room, cleanliness and staff made the trip better.

I used to love the Claridge but it’s starting to go down hill. It’s a mildew smell, urine when walking the halls and it’s old. I understand this is a historic hotel but it’s just to many issues! The staff don’t seem to know anything and you wait hours for housekeeping. The bedding is old and the curtains. They barely dust in the rooms.
The Vue bar on rooftop floor is nice and the restaurant food is okay.

We booked this hotel because we’re under 21 and don’t have many options but still wanted to come. Wasn’t the cleanest. Wasn’t many people there when we arrived a little spooky. Toilet couldn’t flush more than once in like 10 minutes. The fridge didn’t smell clean. The beds seemed clean as well as the shower. That’s all.

We had no hot water in the shower my husband kept reporting it to the front desk . They kept telling us they will have man fix it .It was never fixed no one ever came to fix it . We had to keep shower running all night in morning water was still not hot . We never had these issues staying here not our first time . We were so disappointed that this happened.
