The Holiday Inn Express The Hague - Parliament hotel is located in the middle of the city centre, within walking distance of the Dutch Parliament and famous art museum Mauritshuis. Enter the world of The Hague's many attractions such as the Peace Palace or Madurodam, an outdoor miniature park featuring all the Netherland’s highlights.

With the tram, you reach the 11 km long beach of Scheveningen in only 15 minutes for a day of sea fun or an afternoon of fresh air. Our city by the sea has something to do for everyone.

The modern hotel rooms are fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes a television with various international channels, free coffee and tea making facilities and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Depending on your choice, your room has one double bed or two single beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries.

Shower water pressure somewhat low - don't know if it saves water as you just end up having to stay in it longer. HVAC seemed a bit uncontrolled despite settings. Don't like glass bathroom doors even though frosted - make sure you are comfortable with anyone else you might be sharing room with :-). Would be happy to stay there again at same pricing conditions. Might benefit from updating sockets to include USB chargers.

A magnificent stay.

From the amazingly fast check in to the superb breakfast, the friendliest and most helpful staff you can imagine and the vouchers for free drinks if you don’t have your room serviced every day, this hotel exceeded our best expectations.
The only complaint we had, was the noise at night till the early hours of the morning, for which we cannot hold the hotel responsible.
The hotel was excellently situated - smack in the middle of the old town: about 60 metres from Mauritshuis and 70 metres from the Visvijfer.

Great central location but dark, cool room as it overlooked inner courtyard. No chance of fresh air. Good enough choices at breakfast but coffee machine too busy in a congested area. Another one would be good. Great to get drinks vouchers for not using housekeeping. Only 10 minutes walk from station and so close to everything centrally. Friendly reception staff.

A very good hotel option for leisure or business travelers. Staff are friendly and helpful, location is very good being in the center of town, and there are numerous venues for eating and drinking very close to the hotel. I was on the 4th floor with a garden view which was nice and quiet. The breakfast was also of good standard with plenty of variety. I would also add that the room was fairly spacious, furnished to a good standard and was clean, especially, the bathroom area which was spotless. Overall 10/10 and well worth the price point.

Fabulous location in the heart of the city. 10 minute walk from the Central train station.
Our room was a good size and breakfast had a decent choice of continental items.
If you opt to not have your room cleaned they will give you a voucher for a free drink in the bar.
I would highly recommend this hotel :)

When we checked in, we were warned there was a private event and given ear plugs. We walked into our room, and it smelled bad. Turns out the toilet had not been flushed and there was feces in it. The noise started at 11, and it was loud. We went down to ask for another room. We were given one “noisy, but less so.” The party lasted until 4am. The next night we had another club party from 11-4am. A hotel room has one job, let me sleep. This one failed at that. My key stopped working. I went down to get a new one. I was told that I had probably done something to the key. But the new one didn’t work either. Finally, the front desk came up with me and was able to open it with a 3rd key. If you are making a once-in-a-lifetime trip to see Maurithuis, find a different hotel, far from the nightclubs.

Unbeatable location!

The location is unbeatable. 2-min walk to Mauritshuis, 10-min walk to train station and 15-min walk to a shopping district. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very nice. Will stay again next time when we visit Hague.

Good location

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the city centre and is only a short walk from the main rail station.
The furnishing are tastefully modern and comfortable.
We found the hotel staff to be friendly and accommodating and our room to be spacious, very clean and well equipped (We especially liked the en-suite which was quite luxurious compared to some of the hotels we've stayed in).
We also thought that the continental breakfast on offer was excellent.
We would be happy to stay there again.

Breakfast and beds really good. Room very clean. No fridge which is a \"draw back\". There is a \"lack of hospitality\" when you arrive which you usually expect from a Holiday Inn. No water or coffee available at check in. Re: house keeping and towels...many hotels have a sign that if you do not want your towels laundered...hang them up. Our towels which were hung up were replaced which is an enviromental concern. Staff at check out were very nice.

The hotel is unprepossessing, on a back street and a bit hard to find. But that is deceptive. once you are inside, the facilities were clean, well maintained and generally good quality. The breakfast was ample -- and good. The hotel has parking, which was full our first day, but they refunded what we had to pay at a local parking garage. The square adjacent to the hotel is very trendy, and as a result, very noisy. Fortunately that does not leak into the hotel. If I was back in Den Haag again soon, I would definitely go back.

Terrible night's sleep

This hotel is right next to some loud bars and nightclubs and has poor soundproofing. I was woken at 1am by a queue of about 100 people on the street immediately in front of the hotel naturally being very noisy. The doors of the club or bar would be opening regularly spilling loud music onto the street (and into my room). I barely slept all night. Don't stay here if - like me - you are a relatively light sleeper.

Stay was great, so was the breakfast each morning. The only down side was the 35 euros per day, we had to pay for parking. We would have liked to know that ahead of time. As we have not travelled since before Covid we also are surprised that beds are not being made everyday and that the only thing that seems to be done is that the garbages are emptied. Even the coffee cups are not replaced with clean ones.

Not only is their staff not customer friendly, but they also place a deceiving advertisement on Expedia. They will tell you that you can pay for your room at the location, but what they are forgetting to tell you is that they DEMAND it upfront. Making you FORCE to pay even when you did not even see anything. This is deceiving as when you pay through Expedia you have some discount. I will absolutely NOT recommend to go there. Much better hotels around there anyway...

Great base with warm welcome

Tucked away just off the main square, the hotel is perfectly placed for enjoying the city's touristic hotspots and eating out. We had a friendly and helpful welcome from the reception staff both times we stayed in this holiday. Breakfast was great and the room was quiet, spotless and comfortable.

Recommendation

The overall stay was pleasant. Housekeeping however could do with some improvement-some days we had enough towels, other days we only had enough for the one person. Toilet itself was not always cleaned. And on check-out day, we had a housekeeper come in without knocking or introducing themselves. In addition to this, the entire staff at the hotel were super friendly, helpful, respectful and we enjoyed ourselves! We will be recommending the hotel to our friends and family for our future trips to the Netherlands.
