A lovely property and nice room. The hotel’s location is good, not too far from the tram and walkable into the town. The room itself could do with some renovation - some wallpaper is peeling off, there are stains over the wall and it could do with a good paint and clean. I would stay again but it would be better if the room was refreshed.

Booked this hotel for a business trip on the basis of a 24hr manned reception in the description as I knew I might arrive late at night. When I arrived, the “manned reception” turned out to be a buzzer to phone someone in another hotel who buzzed you in remotely. The sign on reception said reception was manned between 7am and 8pm. Room had a sign saying “24 hour manned reception” but 7:30 when we went down for breakfast there was no one there, not even for supplying breakfast. We waited till 8am for someone to arrive to serve breakfast and in the end had to go hungry as no one showed up. We phoned the contact number on reception and it rang the phone on reception so absolutely no way to contact staff. Very poor for what claims to be a four star hotel. On the plus side - room was nice, bed was comfy. Felt very let down by the staff issue.

We arrived around 1 pm and were greeted by Myrthe who provided exceptional customer service. As our room was ready, she helped us find our room. When the elevator would not move due to weight, she took one of our bags to our room up 2 flights of stairs. When we left one of us went into elevator with bags and the other walked down. Location is great - only 4 tram stops from central station and 1 long block to walk. The hotel is historic and interesting. Our room size was on the small size but okay to move around. There was a separate room for toilet and shower. There was no door on shower/sink room but it was in a corner. On the main level there is a coffee machine that is available 24 hours and some fruit. The storage space is limited - we left our clothes in our suitcases which is okay for us. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is amazingly convenient to everything by tram and bus, and the area around it (Archipelbuurt) is charming and has many nice restaurants and my favorite cheese shop (Alexanderhoeve). My room was clean and functional. The elevator is slow but it does the trick when you have luggage. The stairs are fine at other times

I stay here a lot when travelling for work. Staff very friendly. Nice little hotel rather than the huge chains. Much more quiet. Very clean. Rooms generally much bigger and more character. Love the rooms in the back with the big full height windows. Much more character.

It was more than we expected from a small city hotel in just about every way: staff were so warm, friendly and caring; the rooms were furnished, decorated and maintained to a high standard; the beds were large and great quality and the bed linens welcoming. Coffee, teas and little snacks (biscuit, sweets etc.) available around the clock. And a great location - we thought we were going to tram/bus into the centre but after doing that once, we walked it every time.

Excellent little hotel. Staff very friendly and always smiley and accommodating. Make you feel like home. The rooms are big with tall ceilinga and all the amenities you would need including iron and coffee pods and the hardwritten message and welcome pack was a great touch! So happy to return here after covid. Such a better way place to stay at instead of the big hotel chains!

Excellent location with a good balance of easy access to the centre of town, or a pleasant walk to the beach (we got the tram back!). Staff were helpful and friendly, and easy to find. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities were available both in the room and downstairs. A pleasant small lounge was there to sit in whilst you had your drink.

This hotel is located in an old Dutch House and has charme. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The safe box in my room was only large enough for a passport; limited space to hang clothes. 5 minute walk to tram 9 which brings you in 10 minutes to the Den Haag Central Station or the Scheveningen beach, and 2 minute walk to bus 22. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Restaurants, bakery and supermarket 1 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend.

Nice boutique hotel in the best part of town

A very nice small boutique hotel, perfectly located for both business and pleasure. The local area offers more than a few nice cafes, bars and restaurants as well as being only a 15 minutes easy stroll away from the city centre. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a modern Dutch fashion. Great idea with both bicycles for a bit of sightseeing, and dvds as well as tablets on loan for a movie night in the room if you need to chill in the comfortable bed! Breakfast is served on a buffet with a wide range of selection; the only thing we found missing was some regular black tea. But that’s not at all spoiling the overall impression of The Hotel Mozaic being a great place!

Our room was comfortable, clean and perfect for our visit. It even had a good view over rooftops and side street. We will be back!

We were visiting Den Haag for 1 night. The hotel is just about walkable from the city centre although tram 9 runs nearby. This is handy as it’s the same one that takes you to the beach

Hotel is nicely presented and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and the general decor. The only negative was the lift (it’s quicker to take the stairs).

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded. Room was fine, comfortable and nothing we noticed wrong during our stay.

Staff were friendly and helpful when we had any queries. All in all I’d recommend

This hotel is lovely and the staff exceptional. Could not have been more helpful. I arrived at the hotel at the moment my back was giving out due to fall i took the day before travelling. I was in excruciating pain and the hotel staff helped me with getting treatment, setting up a place on the floor of my room to stretch it out, moving my luggage for me....even without that crisis to \"test\" the hotel, it is very charming, clean, and they give you à phone with free calling around the world and free internet to use during your stay. This room was so small that I stood up from the desk and hit my head on the television. The toilet was on the opposite side of the room to the shower and sink. The window was so high that I could not see out of it and had to stand on the bed. It felt very confining to be in such a small space.

More expensive than expected

Nice hotel etc but ended up much more expensive than expected due to confusion over the fact that in the small print on the hotel's site it said a resort tax of 14odd euros per person had to be paid and as this was the same price as the breakfast we thought there was a mistake as the hotels.com site price hadn't included a resort tax so we assumed we just had to pay for 2 breakfasts ie an extra £ 29euros. In fact it was an an extra 58 euros to cover breakfast and the resort tax on top of the room price on the Hotels.com site. This made the room 50% more expensive than we had expected.

Our stay was only for one night but left a lasting memory. The staff are very helpful, informative and unobtrusive and the hotel has a wonderful air of calm. Our room was tastefully decorated in mainly white and cream with thick duvets and pillows. Nothing feels cramped and the hotel has a lovely flow to it. Breakfast was unhurried and there was a good array of quality breads, juices, ham, cheese, eggs, yoghurt and jams. The hotel feels like the interior of a very well off friend's townhouse and we would certainly recommend it.

Cozy hotel in a quiet area of town.

This was our second stay at Hotel Mozaic. We liked it the first time and decided to come back.
The hotel is located in a quiet, slightly ritzy, section of town. It is a 5 min walk from the #9 tram (Laan Copes van Cattenburch stop). It is not in the center of town, but Den Haag is walkable and the Central Station is about a 10 minute tram ride away. There was little shopping/dining in the immediate hotel vicinity, but there is a night market (convenience store) close by, open noon-midnight, for drinks and snacks. Walking 15-20 minutes takes you to a shopping/dining district. The hotel itself is small-to-medium sized, and cozy. Our room was in very good condition. The beds were super comfortable and the room temperature was easily adjusted. There was no bath, only a shower. We could have used more lighting in the room, it seemed a bit dim. We often slept in late and went out at night, which prevented our room from ever being cleaned during our 5-day stay. Apparently, the maid service is limited to a few hours per day only and if you miss it, your room will not be cleaned. So we took out our own garbage, which was not a big deal, and the front desk was constantly asking us if we needed new towels. The front desk was always friendly and helpful, letting us use their printer to print out tickets, calling a restaurant or taxi for us, and sometimes providing delicious pastries.

Stayed in Hotel Mozaic for 2 nights in November. Chose it due to its reasonably central location and proximity to the office. Overall, the hotel was very clean and welcoming and represented good value for money (a single room was cheaper than a double, and still offered a double bed).
The rooms are clean and bright, with some \"quirky\" features, and sound like they are potentially all slightly different, which is a nice break from the chain hotels where every room is identical.
Breakfast is offered, which was very nice, although a little more variety would be good (particularly around the hot meal offering, which consisted of only scrambled eggs)

This is a lovely boutique hotel, in a super safe and quiet neighbourhood, and was very good value for money. We didn't pay extra for the breakfast, which seemed less good value, but everything else was just great. Large, tastefully decorated room. Comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to help us. Convenient bike hire on site. We feel in love with The Hague during our short visit, and Hotel Mozaic definitely helped!

Great cost performance for business travellers

A very happy first stay at Hotel Mozaic. The complimentary upgrade to a large 3rd floor room with loads of natural light was a bonus. This hotel is personable, professional and has everything that a business traveller needs. There was no problem staying and working for a couple of hours after checkout in the conference room, with free wi-fi and plenty of free coffee and cookies. Staff were very willing to assist with local restaurant recommendations, maps and advice. Great local neigbourhood with good cafes, a newsagent and a supermarket just steps away. Number 9 tram to the Central Station is just 2 blocks away, so an easy stroll, even with luggage.

I had business in the neighborhood, so the hotel was perfect for my needs. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. However, there were a few areas which could use some improvement: wifi access in the common areas was spotty at best, and the carpet in my room could definitely have used a steam clean or replacing as there it was quite grotty.

Leider war die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber. Am Abreisetag haben wir alte Socken unter dem Bett entdeckt und in den 2 Nächten wurde nicht einmal gereinigt (mit Kleinkind das täglich Windeln verursacht wurde der Müll nicht geleert und somit roch es). Am ersten Tag mussten wir nach Klopapier fragen weil es vom Vorbesucher nicht gewechselt wurde und nur 3 Blätter dran waren. Im Badezimmer war es leider auch nicht sauber. Wir hatten Frühstück gebucht und uns wurde mitgeteilt das dieses ab 07:30 bereit steht, als wir um 07:50 runterkamen stand jedoch nichts. Beim nachfragen wann dieses fertig sei wurde nur gesagt \"bald\". Also gingen wir hoch und kamen nochmals runter um 08:15 und stellten fest es stand nichts da und bei dem nochmaligen Fragen wann es fertig ist kam nur als Antwort \"bald\". Also haben wir gesagt das es bitte storniert werden soll. Eine Erstattung habe ich Wochenlang hinterher telefoniert um es dann aufzugeben. Service ist somit mehr als unzufriedenstellend. Die Lage ist etwas abseits der Innenstadt aber in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind zwar großzügig geschnitten aber manches sollte erneuert werden z.B löst sich die Tapete an manchen Stellen.

This is a great hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, especially with my late arrival due to the train strike, assisting me with check-in and getting settled.
My room was clean. While the bed was a bit too firm for my sensitive back, I understand mattress preferences are personal.

The hotel is on a kind of main street , so if you are after a quite location this is not the case . On the other hand this is an advantage if you are after some city feeling , with small cute bars and restaurants near by.
The €18 breakfast felt overpriced for the selection offered.

Overall, I'd happily stay here again.

Jeg hadde et fantastisk opphold på Stadsvilla Hotel Mozaic Den Haag. Suiten jeg bodde i var romslig og smakfullt innredet, med høy takhøyde som skapte en luftig og behagelig atmosfære. Sengen var utrolig komfortabel, noe som ga meg en god natts søvn hver kveld.

Personalet var svært vennlige og løsningsorienterte, alltid tilgjengelige for å svare på spørsmål og gjøre oppholdet så enkelt som mulig. Wi-Fi fungerte perfekt gjennom hele oppholdet, noe som var viktig for meg både til jobb og fritid.

Hotellet ligger i et rolig og hyggelig område med lokal sjarm, men det er en liten spasertur eller en kort tur med offentlig transport til sentrum. For meg var dette en fordel, da jeg fikk oppleve et fredelig nabolag samtidig som jeg enkelt kunne utforske byen.

Alt i alt var oppholdet en perfekt kombinasjon av komfort, service og beliggenhet. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet på det varmeste til både forretningsreisende og de som ønsker en avslappende ferie. Jeg kommer definitivt tilbake!

Very good hotel and a friendly and helpful staff. Absolutly recommend it if you visit Den Haag and the nearby Beach.

Prima hotel

Altijd plezierig om in dit hotel te mogen verblijven. Het is kleinschalig, het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de faciliteiten rondom het hotel zijn prima. Het enige minpuntje is dat de lift wat ouderwets is (je moet de knop ingedrukt houden om naar boven of beneden te gaan).

Vi havde et par skønne dage på dette hyggelige hotel i centrum af Haag. Alle blandt personalet var yderst hjælpsomme og talte alle perfekt engelsk. Værelset var dejligt med stort veludstyret badeværelse og en rigtig god seng

Omöjligt att inte ge toppbetyg på alla punkter! Levande ljus, väldoft och fin service mötte oss direkt i receptionen. Vårt rum låg på bottenvåningen och var rymligt med egen liten uteplats. Fina och väl utvalda detaljer i rummet. Väldigt mycket Haag samlat i ett hotellrum. Vi trivdes och kan varmt rekommendera hotellet!

１つだけ残念！

スタッフは皆ちっても感じが良く、とても気持ち良く過ごせました。ドライヤーがなかったので、棚の上のボックスの中かな？と思って見たらボックスの蓋がホコリだらけでxxx中身はアイロンでした。フロントで無事お借りできましたが。。。狭いながらも快適でしたよ！

Molto professionali nell'accoglierci per il check in, nonostante il nostro arrivo abbondantemente dopo l'1 di notte.
Stanza con tutti i comfort (ferro da stiro, asciugacapelli e accappatoio, ad esempio) e molto silenziosa.

Prima locatie voor bezoek aan Den Haag in combinatie met bezoek aan strand. Openbaar vervoer of fiets. Volop eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Fijn hotel, mooie sfeervolle inrichting, schoon, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Krap toilet op de kamer maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. De rest maakt het meer dan goed.

Un hôtel charmant et confortable à un prix correct

Un séjour très agréable, avec un personnel avenant et souriant, dans une chambre spatieuse et confortable. Deux petits bémols cependant : il y faisait très chaud, et la chambre donnait sur une rue avec beaucoup de circulation, d'où une nuisance sonore malgré le double vitrage.
