First of all, the hotel does not have AC despite what Expedia chatbot says. The staff were nice enough to bring us a portable one to ease of the heat wave.
Second, it's a very nice hotel in a good location but does not have a business centre that you could work from so I had to work in restaurant or lobby as I was working there every night for around two weeks.
Third, daily housekeeping service was not very good, we had to keep asking for fresh towels, asking front desk to refill tissue boxes and empty soap dispensers.
Overall, good place for the price if you're staying for a few days. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the extra charge and I love that I saw less privileged people coming in after breakfast time was over instead of wasting the food.

Excellent hotel with fantastic staff.

Excellent weekend stay in a beautiful modern hotel with tasteful decor and fantastic staff who were both helpful and very friendly. The hotel is located a short walk from Central train station and just outside a tram stop. First visit to the city and this hotel has left a lasting positive impression.

The hotel premises are nice, rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. Only issue is the location: after 8-9 pm, all nearby restaurants and cafes are closed, and the city center takes 25 minutes to walk. Thou, the train station to dH north is an easy walk if you are willing to take the train.

I booked a room with a king size bed, I got two twins. They put a topper on the twins after I fell between them. There were weird liquid stains all over the yellowed sheets and what appeared to be old blood stains. Most of the staff were friendly some were not. it is quiet which is nice but the overall condition is not great. I had to switch plugins to use the lamp and the coffee maker as one outlet was dead. They ran out of coffee pods so I had to buy some.

Expensive for a soulless hotel

We were disappointed to find that the hotel had only single beds. The so-called \"double bed\" is just two singles put together with separate blankets. When we asked for a bigger blanket, the staff said they didn't have.

The window was broken and wouldn't close. No art or any adornments on the wall, meaning it didn't have much atmosphere.

The location was reasonable and it was cleaned okay.

Worst business hotel I have stayed at!

Location of the hotel is ok as the station is not too far to walk.

I was allocated a room where there were building works going on. I was assured that the works would be completed by 8pm local time. However I was awoken by very loud thudding noises and drilling at 2, 3 and 4am in the morning. I did not get any sleep. When I called reception, I had to justify and prove the noise was there (she arrived just when there was a pause). Luckily the noise started again whilst I was trying to find recordings of the previous noise on the phone but really why was I asked to prove there was unbearable noise all morning/night? I was eventually moved to the 8th floor, where the carpet was outdated and there was a strong stench of cigarette smoke. This was at approximately around 5:30am. I was about to get about 2 hours sleep.

I am pretty sure the staff were aware of the ongoing works and the noise, and they could have made more of an effort to allocate a more appropriate room for my stay.

All in all, the worst hotel I've stayed at for business. I don't really find the time to write reviews but my experience was so awful, I felt compelled to leave a review for this one.

Comfortable hotel a bit out of town centre

We enjoyed a comfortable king bedroom with great views from 13th floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had great choice. Ate in restaurant one evening and food was good (& not a rip-off price compared to The Hague, which is not a cheap place, anyway). Parking was easy, secure and well lit. It is costly per day but hotel has special rate. Parking is expensive in the area.

There is a tram station outside (lines 3 and 4) which you can use to get into the centre of town (Spui) but we walked back and forth which took about 20-25 mins.

I was on level 16.Tgere were kids running up and down corridors, teenagers swearing walking past the room, a cleaner was arguing with a customers for about 30 minutes getting quite abusive and my bed was remade once in the time of 11 days.

Okay for a short business trip

Pros: well located for some business offices and the world trade centre. Good service - additional heating was provided when requested. There was a combined bath tub and shower head allowing for a choice when freshening up. The hot water worked well for the most part albeit the temperature was slightly intermittent.
Cons: despite suggesting there would be the choice of a double or 2 single beds when booking online, the hotel only provided 2 singles and offered a mattress topper to “join the beds”. However, two separate single duvets were provided which was uncomfortable
The toilet was not well cleaned, toiletries and facial tissues (exhausted during the stay) were not replaced during a 2 night stay and the food at the restaurant was not particularly nice.
Overall, probably okay for a short business trip but not comfortable nor recommended for holidays, families or longer stays.

Check-in was disappointing. Staff was rude and unfriendly. Was not helpful when we enquired about local festival. Frowned during the entire check-in. We were wondering if the staff is being racist or discriminating. Room was alright but the double bed was actually 2 single beds joined together ( and we are on couple trip. Special occasion for us). The whole check in experience created a bad impression and spoilt our stay with this hotel.

Good modern business hotel with a terrible food service. For a hotel of its grade, breakfast was very limited, poorly refreshed, and used a strange bread toaster that kept burning bread. Most disappointing was the gross sight of a food service guy using his bare hands to move cheese. Lunch buffet that was offered for our conference was so bland, I left hungry every day. I would stay there again but would not eat any meals.

The NH-hotels are known for their standards and this hotel complied. However, there was no iron in the room, and that for me is a standard necessity !. I also think that a big plus would be a folder with information about public transportation: where to get a tram or a train, what the stop is, where you can get on/off etc. Not everyone is adventurous and some travellers would like a good explanation how to get where, in a simple way. but overall a good nice and clean hotel

Very convenient for work in the area. Office, Hotel and Train Station (Den Haag Laan Van Noi) all within a few minutes walk of each other. 20 minute walk to the city center, The Hague is definitely the best city in Holland to visit.

Great location, good hotel but breakfast forgotten

I would have rated this hotel as 5 star but they didn’t collect my breakfast card during the night (which was left at 10pm) and I waited 30 Mins for my breakfast before checking the door and seeing it hanging outside... to their credit, they did send me some breakfast within 10 Mins when I called although they forgot the coffee and i had to call again for it. They didn’t charge me for breakfast though and if I had stayed longer, they offerred me a complimentary lunch or dinner at the restaurant

Ok Hotel, but not worth the price

I had to stay at this hotel because it was close to a business meeting that I attended for the week. It was ok, but cost way too much for what was given. The bill was incorrect: I was charged breakfast, even though I stated up front that I did not want breakfast. Be sure to check your bill if you stay at this hotel. The restaurant is extremely expensive.

Lovely and in a good location from work

The hotel was lovely, welcoming and convenient. However, the tea cups were not always changed. You could see the tea stain from the tea I had in the morning. Also I asked for a double bed and got twin beds instead. Finally the Hotel food was pricy. Despite all this the staff were friendly and facilities were good.
