Very pleasant stay. This is a very convenient neighborhood for me when I come to Tokyo and the hotel is extremely convenient - right next to the JR line and the Tokyo Metro line. Clean, well kept, more spacious room than usual. Surprisingly quiet. Supplies you can choose yourself rather than stuff being brought to you that you don’t need. Courteous staff. I would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

Hotel just next to JR station easy for transportation. Not many dining restaurants in nearby area so you have to go other area for food. No supermarket nearby but have some convenience stores so still okay for snack and drink. Room size is okay for two person and cleaniness is okay also. Breakfast set coupons provided to go to Denny at hotel second floor.

This was my wife and I’s first trip to Japan and staying here made it very easy and welcoming. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and treated us very well. There’s a Dennys downstairs on the second floor conveniently located for breakfast, and the Komagome station was right there as well. It was perfect!

The room is spacious and comfortable. It's clean but I can see quite lots of dust flying under the sunshine in the morning time, even the window is closed. Other than that I still think it's a good place for long staying as a JR and a subway station is just next door. Denny's , Family Mart and Cozy Corner is down stair. About 10 minutes walking time to the Rikugien Garden.

Highly recommended, no-frills business hotel

Great location, situated right outside one of the exits of Komagome station on the Yamanote Line (which runs in a loop). Yet like the other reviews stated, there is hardly any noise from the trains and it is very quiet. There is a convenience store downstairs and a good selection of Japanese food around the area, which I believe is an affluent suburb neighborhood. In the vicinity, there is a supermarket (Maruetsu Petit), a 7-11 / Seven I and a few other convenience stores. Go explore the area; it's pretty nice.

Shared amenities - there is a washing machine and drier in the same room at L4 iirc and a microwave at L7 - which makes it very convenient if you buy a meal off one of the convenience stores nearby and need to heat it up.

The room - I believe it is bigger than average for Tokyo standards, fairly ok for 1 person. There is a long desk beside the bed, great for putting your stuff. Heater and AC both available. The toilet is an awesome Japanese one - with heated seat (if you wish) and water spray to clean up after you take a dump.

Breakfast - there is a restaurant at L2. If you choose it during the booking, you will receive cards during check in, one card per day. The selection is pretty limited, but you can easily eat off a convenience store in Japan and there are other food options nearby, so fret not.

Staff - some of them speak some English. Do not expect an unrealistic level of service as this is a basic business hotel - that said, the staff are polite.

Smooth check in. Single bedroom is large and has plenty of space. Shower with tub, also bidet is in room too.

Hotel is located at Komagome JR Yamanote South Exit. Tokyo Metro Namboku is also located right in front, but they have multiple entrances and exits. Make sure to enter/exit the correct location if not you’ll be walking further with your luggage.

Avoid major commute times, as like majority of Tokyo, trains will be very packed, and you’ll have trouble getting on with a small backpack.

Area is mainly residential, no 24 hour restaurants in the area if you’re trying to beat jet lag. So you’ll have to wait till morning for trains for sightseeing.

Overall excellent hotel.

This hotel is in a great location on the central Yamanote line. The bed is large and comfortable and each room has individually controllable AC. The hotel is impeccably clean and staff were always very friendly. Bathrooms are spacious and appointed well with appropriate amenities.

Breakfast is provided through a daily voucher to the onsite Denny's which had serviceable options.

The biggest downsides for the stay are that storage space and space in general are somewhat limited, but this is not out of the ordinary in Tokyo. Also, the area around the hotel has limited activities, but the hotel's location on the Yamanote line overrides that in my opinion.

Great location, great stay

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel was just next to the JR station (2 mins walk), sheltered and covered all the way from the north exit.
The hotel is quiet and clean also very conveniently situated along the yamanote line.
Thought the amenities were basic, the toiletries were well thought out :)

We found this hotel to be very convient location wise. It was definitely a great location as it is right next to the JR station. The hotel room was very clean, and larger that most rooms (as we have stayed at 2 other chains in Japan). We really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing we found strange was that the staff would not help us in booking a dinner reservation.

The free breakfast from Dennie's Japan was also good, though the smoking area isn't sealed off from the non-smoking area and can be bothersome for non-smokers.

The location of this hotel was super convenient as it was literally right next to the station. It was a plus point that breakfast was settled as you can get an early start to the day. There is a cute little garden park within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel - it is a good place to wander around for a bit. Many convenient stores and quick bites around too for early mornings or late nights.

Value Price >> not so expensive for Tokyo hotel and I like that they provide free ice on 4th fl
Breakfast >> you get to eat at Denny's every morning (included in room price) they have 5 main and 4 side for you to choose from (but if you come here for long stay maybe you will get bored though)

It’s located right at Komagome station of Yamate line and subway Nanboku line so it’s very convenient. Also it is in a very nice, safe and convenient neighborhood where you can walk around even at night to get some food.
Their breakfast at Denny’s is very nice. Also, they offer lady’s floor to make me even more comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely stay here again.

Glad I went for this instead of an AirBnB room.

Very helpful front desk, I don't speak Japanese yet check-in was quick and easy. The room is super-clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is strategically located between convenience stores, a handful of restaurants and a train station. And oh, there's a decent complimentary breakfast too. In short, I recommend it.

The hotel is quite small but accessible to the station. Convenient stores nearby and also a good restaurant inside the premises. The hotel staff are nice and helpful but not that good in English. The room is cramped but has a heater since we arrived Christmas season and experienced cold weather. The price for me is okey and I would recommend this hotel to others.

Right beside the north/south exit of Komagome station which connects to a line that runs a loop around the main Tokyo sights. Convenience stores, fast food and local restos within walking distance of the hotel. Clean, affordable and with ample space.

1.地理位置絕佳，樓下就是JR山手線&東京Metro南北線駒込站&公車站，還有超商NewDays及Denny’s餐廳，過馬路就有羅森、鳥貴族、松屋、麥當勞，附近還有中日韓式各種料理餐廳（店家雖不多但也是應有盡有），JR站裡也有甜點店/麵包店/蕎麥麵店，走過駒込橋就有7-11和全家，超級方便。
秋季想到六義園賞楓或舊古河庭園賞玫瑰可以住這裡，走路就可到這兩個景點。
因為有JR山手線所以要前往日暮里站、池袋站、新宿站也都相當快速。
2.抵達飯店時需搭乘電梯或爬樓梯至二樓check-in，櫃檯人員會協助引導使用機器搭配真人語音辦理入住手續、繳交住宿稅，住宿備品就在電梯口可自行免費拿取。
房間小但簡單乾淨，我們的房型望出去就可看到小小的晴空塔與日出，住了五晚感覺非常好👍

Wonderful stay in Tokyo JR-EAST Mets.

Very good experience to stay here for 7 days. Good location for traffic to both side of Tokyo area and good connection to NRT airport too. BTW, train station location is also wonderful. Just few minute walk to connect Hotel and convenient store.
