The neighbourhood is lovely, the Yamanote Line and the Subway are a short walk away, the price is low, and it's very clean. The rooms are very small indeed, check-in is open only until 6pm (you have to call a staff member down via a courtesy phone if you arrive after that), and there are no frills. It's a bit faded, and the washlet in my room didn't work, but for the price it's decent value as long as you know what you're getting: it's a weekly residence rather than a hotel, so they're not going to come in and make your bed every day. If that bothers you (it doesn't bother me), look elsewhere.

The hotel is situated at a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood in which I really enjoyed. It’s somehow near the Sugamo station and near the Sugamo market. The staff are very polite and attentive. The only problem is that they don’t do room service. Nonetheless, I still liked the simple ambiance of the hotel. My room has almost everything that I needed, from microwave to electric stove.

Close to Sugamo Station,safe and quiet area.

The hotel is a simple place and easy to get to from Sugamo Station (JR), along with the subway/metro that also runs there. It is close to another JR station Otsukaekimae Station should you need it... 700m away. For the price and location it is quite a good buy.

Very nice hotel for the price, convenient location

We stayed here for 5 nights on holiday in Tokyo. The walk to the station is straightforward and short. The staff are excellent, one in particular Humi (sp?) spent a long time helping me organise a tour I wished to go on. The tour operators could only be contacted in Japanese.

Simple, Convenient, and Comfortable.

The hotel was near a lot of shops, restaurants, and even a supermarket. Just a few minutes walk, around a nice neighborhood. The room although small, was comfortable and clean. It had complete amenities like a mini ref, soap,shampoo,toilet paper, towel, toothbrush,toothpaste, razor, slippers, kettle, and an induction cooker ( like what they use in cooking hotpots). They won't clean your room or change your towel or sheets unless you specifically ask them to. So you also have the option of getting a lot of privacy.

J'ai pû accéder sans surcoût à ma chambre qui était prête avant l'heure du check-in, un grand merci au personnel présent pour cela. Hôtel très calme et très bien équipé.

TV, bouilloire et micro-onde dans la chambre ainsi qu'une salle de bain privative avec baignoire. Option fumeur disponible.

Je recommande le Flexstay Inn Sugamo, merci encore pour votre accueil.

ちょっと使いづらいかも

禁煙ルームを予約したら、地下の部屋がそうらしく、予約の時に知らせて欲しかった。
トイレとバスルームが一緒なのは良いのだが、洗面台が無くて、トイレ後に一旦バスルームを出て手を洗わなくてはならず、相当不便でした。
シャワーも温度が一定でなく、すぐ下がるので、使いづらかったです。

商店街からも近く、使わなかったけれど、鍋やコンロまで部屋に常備してあり、簡単な自炊まで対応できるホテルで面白いなぁと思いました。設備は古いですが、特に気になりませんでした。

자주 이용합니다.

호텔이 위치한 스가모역이 왼쪽으로는 이케부쿠로, 신주쿠가 금방이고 오른쪽으론 우에노, 아키하바라, 도쿄역등을 빠르게 갈수 있는 중간에 위치한 역이라 좋습니다. 일본 호텔에서 자다 보면 흔히 있는 야밤에 사이렌 소리, 폭주족 소리등도 없고 다른 호텔에 의외로 없는 전자렌지도 있어서 자주 이용하는 편입니다. 한마디로 가성비는 개인적으로 최고네요.

20時過ぎの到着でしたが、エアコンの効き目が悪いので見てみると、フィルターに埃や汚れがびっしりで、これじゃー電気のムダです。
蒸し暑いので仕方なくフィルター掃除をしましたが、ホテルに泊まってエアコン掃除は初めての経験でした。これでは友人は勧められません。

房間比較小，一個人的話空間還算夠用。洗手盤上方的抽氣扇很髒。
訂半年後的房都只有吸煙房，所以懷疑全間酒店都是吸煙房？！周邊餐廳多，買東西也方便。

フロント(Ｂ１)へのアプローチさえ改善されれば

巣鴨地蔵通り商店街に近く、ロケーションは申し分ない。それでも週末は高いが、都内ビジネスホテルとしては格安の部類に入るのはシングルルームがきわめて狭いせい。にもかかわらず電子レンジ以下、最低限の調理器具を備えていて、狭い空間に物を詰め込み過ぎの感。手洗いボウルはあっても栓ができない(どこでヒゲ剃りしたらいいの、風呂場？)など、どうもちぐはぐだ。部屋は寝るだけと割り切れば、どんなに狭くてもいいが、ユニットバスも狭い(両足を大股開きしないと便座に座れないなんて、笑うしかない)。最大の問題はフロントが地下にあって、急な階段を降りねば、たどり着けないこと。大きなカートを引きずった旅行者には大変だ。ここにエスカレーターをつける、緩い傾斜のスロープにするなどの工事は無理だろうが、エレベーターはあるのだから１階に暗証番号付きドアを設置して、１階からも入れるようにするのが最善の改善策。

因為我是早機，到達東京市中心只是11AM。酒店Check in時間是2PM，但不想提着行李箱四處去，所以想先去酒店放下行李。到酒店約11:15AM，本來只想寄放行李，那櫃檯的人員好好人，他說可以讓我即時Check in。房間也很企理，清潔, 光線充足, 日常用品齊全，基本設施有之外，房內還有微波爐，十分方便。下次會再選這間。

일단 위치가 좋아요. 역에서 걸어서 10분 안됐던거 같구요, 스가모 위치 자체가 야마노테선으로 주요지점을 다 갈 수 있어서 편했습니다. 제가 묵었던 객실은 흡연실이었는데 다행히도 담배 냄새도 별로 안났고, 객실이 더럽다는 생각은 안들었습니다. 직원분들은 체크인 때 빼고는 얘기한 적이 없지만 전체적으로 친절하셨던 것 같습니다. 아쉬웠던 점은 제 방만 그런거였는지 모르겠는데 와이파이 신호가 넘나 약했다는... 아 그리고 일본 비즈니스 호텔 특성상 화장실이 좀 많이 좁아요. 하지만 가격 생각하면 뭐 당연한 거라 생각합니다. 전체적으로 만족스러웠어요, 다음에 기회가 있다면 또 묵고 싶습니다~

This is kind of a ”do it yourself” hotel, you throw out your own trash, if you want want new towels/sheets you go to the reception and ask for it etc, but that also makes it almost as cheap as hostels but with the benefit of having your own room/toilet. Perfect for busy people or if you’re traveling alone.

駅から歩いて10分ほど、少し住宅街に入ったところにあるので、買い出しは表通りのコンビニか、途中、イオンストアで買いましょう。部屋の向きによっては裏側にゴルフの打ちっぱなし場になります。入り口が階段で地下なので、そこだけちょっと残念ですが、くつろげます。

Good Hotel for backpacker

The largest con for me is that the check-in counter is at B1F and there is no elevator at main entrance.
So, you need to bring all your belongings and go down the stairs for check in.

There is no room cleaning service provided during your stay. It is fine for me, but may be problem to somebody.

It is a convenient place if you take JR but not subway.
The price of nearby shop is quite reasonable.

窓の取手が壊れたままでした。部屋に電子レンジ、ポットがあるのはいいのですが、サービスのコーヒーもお茶もなく、使えませんでした。入口がある階に泊まったのですが、入り口が開く度に風圧でドアが音を立てるので、しばらく気になりました。また、人の出入りも声が気になりました。隣の部屋の話声も、内容まで聞こえるのでは？というほど聞こえました。お値段の割には残念でした。駅からも少し歩きました。

ロケーションはすばらしいが

巣鴨、大塚、どちらの駅からも少し歩くことになるが、巣鴨地蔵通り商店街に近く、ロケーションは大変魅力的。ただし、東京のビジネスホテルとしては仕方のないことではあるが、部屋、ユニットバスともに狭く、電子レンジ以下の調理器具を狭い空間に詰め込んでいるので、ごちゃごちゃしている。客室は1階以上にあるが、フロントは地下1階で、入るためにかなり急な階段を降りねばならぬのはマイナス。いったんチェックインすれば1階から出ることはできるが、扉を閉めると外から入ることはできない(当然)。隣がゴルフの打ちっぱなし練習場なので、昼間はそれなりにうるさい。テレビは地上波しか入らないが、WiFiが良好なのと、部屋別のエアコンがあるのが救い。

Perfect for 1 traveler!

This hotel is a bit special. Perfect for 1 traveler since it's more of an apartment style approach. The wifi is good, you've got a microwave & other smaller feautres for making foods, you throw away your own trash outside and theres no room service unless you ask for it, and then it'll cost a little bit extra if you want a change of sheets/new towels.

But the upside with that is that it's quiet, no personell running around in the corridors early in the morning, and you dont have to worry about being woken up by knockings on the door etc.
To sum it up, cheap and clean!

寝るだけなら問題なし

駅からの利便性も悪くなく、近くの商店街で晩御飯などの調達も用意。
部屋自体は質素で狭いものの、寝るだけの宿泊なら問題なし。
ただ、限られた時間にしかフロント業務が常設されていないので、初めて利用する場合はチェックイン時間だけは気をつけ、遅くなる場合の事前確認だけは必須ですね。

巣鴨駅前という好立地にありながら比較的リーズナブルに宿泊出来ていて助かっています。部屋も必要十分な広さが確保されている。時間帯によってはwifiの速度が十分でないのが難点。

駅より少し歩いた住宅街で、部屋もくつろいげます。連泊向きで部屋にレンジや自炊も出来ます。(^_^)ただし入口はセキュリティチェックあるので遅いチェックインの場合は、気をつければ快適と思います。

每月一次来东京，找宾馆是件头疼的事，离火车站近的价钱便宜的宾馆，一般都订不到，不是爆满就是没有空房。这个宾馆多次利用，比较方便，希望对经常利用的常客，能有点优惠价格就好了。

駅が近くとても便利です。また、従業員の方が愛想が良くとても親切でした。全て良かったのですが、ホテルの裏すぐにゴルフの打ちっ放し場があるので、気になる方は気になるかもしれません。夜はもちろんやっていないみたいですので、僕は全く気になりませんでした。

More of less is enough

Staying here is similar to renting an apartment. They provide all basic amenities (plug in hot plate, dishes, utensils) plus AC, WIFI, private bathroom. There is no room cleaning service but they do provide an instructional pamphlet which is very clear on what services they provide. They even had a scale to weight my bags before we went to the airport. the only draw back was garbage disposal was not explained clearly. i liked it but if your expecting a lot of service you'll be disappointed. The photos from the website look exactly like the room.
