This property has very old rooms and has very dirty floors and the corners are not clean. The smell is horrific. The bed on the other hand was very comfortable and very clean as were the bedsheets and the towel towels and actual fixtures in the bathroom. Definitely needs renewing or as good cleaning of the floor and the walls. There were bugs everywhere but okay for a one night quick sleepover.

We had reserved a larger room, which apparently was a duplex. But what we didn’t know is that all one of the rooms was downstairs. There was no toilet downstairs so my mother who has walking canes could not stay with us so we had to change the room to a smaller room.

Overall decent place. I didn’t give 5 stars for 2 reasons: a property should really impress me to get 5 and the other reason being (I want to say there should be a housekeeping inspector of every room to be sure they are ready for the next guest). Example: the dishes, had they been inspected, would’ve been noticed that they were unclean. I shouldn’t have to wash the dishes before I can use it.

I had to chase down a wine bottle opener. If inspection was made, that too would’ve been noticed and the receptionist wouldn’t have become so flustered and upset with housekeeping.

Apart from this, nice property; spacious room.

i was charged extra after leaving the hotel for not having replaced the dishes in the cupboard (i washed then and left them on the surface to dry) and apparently i was expected to empty the trash myself. at a hotel. and i was supposed to glean this information from a sticker posted on the wall.

It would have been perfect had there been a solution to the laundry services. I had run out of Euros, and there was no option to purchase this service on site other than via euro coins, €8.00 was all that was needed but without coins to that value I was unable to use these services. Could you look into adding this option when booking this type of accommodation; similar to breakfast!

It was adequate but spacious for the price, and staff were friendly. Breakfast was good.
Exactly half of the 10 lights in the apartment had blown bulbs or just did not work.
Self catering would have been useful if any shops were open to purchase food but it was Sunday, so no luck for me.
The loo was disgustingly stained and set under a huge water tank which I banged my head on trying to use it.

Decent stay whilst visiting family...!

We stayed in Divonnes over New Years and stayed at the Versoix on 2 separate occasions. The rooms were spacious as an apartment and reasonably clean. The second apartment (we extended our stay for a few days) was better, more spacious and felt better. The one drawback from the first apartment was the smell of aged cigarette smoke lingering in the room. Check first...! Overall a decent experience if ou need to stay on the French side - Geneva is 25 odd minutes away

We arrived beyond the desired check-in time of 8pm (kind of early for a hotel), but made the call to Hotels.com and they gave us instructions on how to get our keys. Of course, the threat of a 30 Euro late check-in fee was always in the back of our minds. When we go to the room, that is when it got very interesting! The apartment was setup in a strange way, two floors - and things looked outdated. As we proceeded up the stairs to the main living space, we could see the countertops are so old the formica surface had been damaged numerous places and had gotten wet - causing the particle-board backing to bubble-up and separate (and mold is setting in). Same with the skirt on the bathtub - falling apart and looked very nasty. The tile floor was cracked in the kitchen. There was an odor in the apartment - it was either wet paint or smoke-smell from previous renters. The water in the shower was at least warm, but when you try to run the sink water and the shower at the same time there was zero flow to the shower. Also, this was affected by people in other apartments running their water at the same time. Hotel rules require you to take all trash bags out to the bins yourself (I mean come-on, really - the cleaning crew can't handle this service???). Don't drink the water from the sink - it tastes bad! My wife and kids were trying to convince me to leave and find another hotel...however after driving 12 hours up from Italy I was too tired to find another place. Good luck!

It is ok forvstag do, but not a family. The staff were brilliant but the decor and home comforts were not there .ten ins frommtown centre, and easy to walk. Needs to bring dome home comforts in, but would use again for sure if with the lads.

We checked in but once viewed the room/apartment had to return to reception to refuse the room as it was poorly maintained and unclean. There were balls of hair in the bathroom and all the sink surrounds were very overdue being replaced as swollen and unhygienic. Receptionist very pleasant and offered another room. He accompanied us to the second room but although it was a little cleaner it was still very poor. We refused to stay at the hotel and said we would demand a refund from Expedia (which we did achieve). The photos on the website must be at least 10 years old.

A clean place to sleep in a quiet community.

We had a two room suit. Beds were ok. Linens were clean. Easy, free parking. This seems to be a condo/apartment/hotel situation, which was a little strange. There was an annoying sound in the kitchenette that seemed to be coming from wind rushing around unsealed pipes. Front desk staff was cheerful and very helpful.

Nice Apartment/hotel well situated for Geneva

on arrival we were pleasantly greeted and found we had been upgraded. The apartment had a small kitchen, large family room, balcony, bathroom, toilet and bedroom.We had a pleasant stay close to relatives (just across the border) for a fraction of the cost of staying in Switzerland.
Definitely recommend this place, but suggest do your own breakfast - cheaper than the reasonably good one you can book direct with the hotel.

OK, but not what I expected.

It was clean and felt safe, but not what I was expecting. After a relatively early hour, the desk closes and a note is taped to the front door. It said to use some obscure back door to enter and my key would be in my door. The door was difficult to find. It was a long distance from my car, so a bit of a pain to lug my suitcases. In the room, it stated a very early check-out and that I would be fined if late and fined if I didn't clean my room myself. That was a first for me!

perfect location for paleo festival visitors

We were there for the paleo festival in nyon, so location and proce was very important... Considering those points, this was the perfect hotel! Our stay was good. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were early and they still tried to make it possible to check-in! It was super hot and we didn't manage to find an AC (not sure if there was one) we only realized very late so couldn't ask at the reception. Overall it was still a nice experience and i would stay there again. Cute neighborhood!

Nice apartments just the other side of the border

We chose this hotel on a trip to Geneva. Staying in Swtizerland is expensive, but if you can stay just across the border like we did, its great. We had a crib in the room free of charge, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like about the room is that we booked two rooms, and on their system they saw this as 2 reservations under my name, so they ended up canceling on reservation. No big deal, they rebooked us and gave us another room. But this happened twice -- we stayed at the hotel twice. Overall though, if you're trying to save money but still want a comfortable room, I would recommend this hotel. Think of it as a budget hotel just across the border -- and since its all the EU, moving back and forth between France and Switzerland is a piece of cake.

I think the hotel should explicitly say how you can reach from GVA. Unless the hotel runs a pick up service from Coppet ( nearest railway station)- it becomes extremely difficult to reach the hotel. The bus services runs every hour until 7:30 PM and it is a good 15 minutes walk from the village bus stop. That is fine if you don't have luggage but with baby and kluggae it become difficult. Getting a Taxi is also difficult as no taxi is on stand by. You have to call the number's listed on a board near station and if you are not carrying a swiss mobile, then it is very unlikely that your cell will work to do so.

Dorm style rooms. We arrived few hours earlier than check-in time but they found a room for us right away which was really nice after a long tiring night at the airport. There was a grocery store really close to the place which was really nice. Helped us save a lot of money! The kitchen has everything you need. You can also do your laundry there! Its a nice place for students and young couples. If you want to get to Geneva you have to take a bus to Coppet which is 3 francs per person and then from copeet you take a train to Geneve (city centre) which is less than 10 euros for 2 ppl. The bus timinings for the the bus to coppet is very infrequent so check the schedules before hand. Divonne is a very nice, peaceful place to live in as well!

This was a comfortable place to stay while touring the Geneva area. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but clean. Being a \"residence\", there is no maid service during one's stay. The kitchen had plates but no flatware. There was a slight odor in the hallways, apparently because of infrequent carpet cleaning. Overall, however, it is a very good value because it is far less expensive than a comparable hotel across the border in Switzerland. Divonne-les-Bains is a middle-class spa town with a lot of new construction like this hotel.

The hotel room was clean and roomy, but it did have a bit of smell, probably because it was a smoking room. That was the only one that they had left. We got in super late and our room was ready for us. Located in a small suburb with good walking paths. I also appreciated the kitchenette in the apartment.

All the charm of an 80s college dorm room

This spartan dorm-room like hotel turned us off instantly. It is part hotel, part permanent residence for older or transient workers. Our ground-floor room--near the trash bins no less!--meant that we had little privacy from the constant pedestrians walking past our patio. There were no windows in the room, only doors, which meant that the air got stale and stuffy really quickly. When the shutters were closed for privacy, the room became cave-like and felt claustrophobic.

While the room seemed clean, on closer inspection it was not. The microwave had stains and sop from previous use. Worst of all, the bathtub had a ring of mildew that after a shower produced an offensive and oppressive stench throughout the apartment. The place became damp and stayed that way for the whole day. Because it was the weekend, the reception told us that there was nothing that they could do about the problem.

We wanted to check out an hour after getting here. The internet didn't work. The cable was down. Nothing is open on Sundays, making securing food and fuel a major hassle. If we could do it over, we'd stay in nearby Nyon, an adorable little Swiss town only 15 min. away. Either way, there simply have to be better places to stay in Divonne. Avoid this one.

Le logement est très spacieux,décoration sobre et simple mais il y a tout ce qu il faut.
Les lits sont très confortables,juste
le canapé me paraît plus adapté pour le couchage d enfants que pour des adultes.
Le personnel vous envoie tout le processus à suivre en cas d arrivée tardive.Le parking a beaucoup de places.L apparthotel est dans un environnement sympa et pratique avec l accès proche de l autoroute.
Nous avons été très largement satisfaits de ce logement qui nous a parut d un très bon rapport qualité-prix ,pour 5 personnes que nous étions.

Alquilamos el dúplex, que tiene una habitación con cama doble, otra con dos camas y un sofá cama. Éramos cuatro. Todo limpio. El equipamiento del dúplex incluida microondas, frigorífico y cocina. Très bon séjour, l aparthotel très bien, personnel agréable. Il y avait le nécessaire même si nous avons fait que petit déjeuner et dormir le reste du temps nous avons profiter pour visiter le canton de vaud.

Bel et grand aparthotel pour 5 personnes. Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Il y avait bien le nécessaire utile (serviettes, gel douche, café, thé et sucre en poudre, papier toilette..). Seul bémol, on était sous les toits et il manquait soit une climatisation ou ventilateur malgré qu'on ait ouvert les fenêtres... Ou sinon, ça s'est bien passé dans l'ensemble. Merci

Résidence de qualité

Très bonne résidence situé dans une belle petite ville. Séjour vraiment agréable.
Dommage que le lit enfant ( Sofa avec lit d’appoint en dessous ) soit si inconfortable

L’hébergement sentait mauvais . Odeur très forte. Pas de service de chambre pendant 4 jours. Nous avons dû demander à chaque fois qu’il fallait changer les serviettes ou donner du papier toilette.
Personnel à l’accueil indifférent.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour ! Chambre très propre et très fonctionnelle… la literie était très bonne.
L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche de la frontière Suisse.
Seul petit bémol, l’évier de la salle de bain avait du mal à s’écouler.

studio agréable pour séjour longue durée

Studio 30m2 bien construits et avec petite cuisine. tres bien pour des séjours moyen ou longue durée.
Mais pas de ménage quotidien. service de chambre inexistant

Appartenant plutot usé mais fonctionnel.
Dommage l escalier du duplex avec le sejour en haut avec les affaires bebe.
