On the exterior, The Comwell looked excellent, with a supposed state of the art spa facilities, high quality restaurant and a friendly smile on arrival by the staff.

In reality, what I was met with was a lot of hidden costs for facilities that barely worked. I paid for access to the spa facilities, however, saunas were not functional, there was little direction in terms of what was available for me to use and what I couldn't. Staff were inattentive. I was seemingly ignored by the front of house restaurant staff as I waited to be seated, with several different members of staff walking straight past me without acknowledgement. I gave up and went to the supermarket instead. The next day I visited the restaurant again and wasn't impressed by the limited menu. There were no vegetarian options, little diversity and the food wasn't that great.

When reporting spa facilities that were not working, members of staff did nothing to rectify the issue or inform me of whether it was being seen to or not.

My room had an insect infestation which made it very difficult to relax and settle down. The bedsheets were not fitted to the bed very well, and I found myself tangled in the middle of the night.

The bathroom was poor, with a sink that doesn't plug in, a shower that sprays all over the floor and a toilet that had a particularly bad smell throughout my week.

I left the Comwell with a bad taste in my mouth. I felt disappointed and let down by what could have been a very lovely stay.

The hotel is very cozy, excellent breakfast, comfy beds. There was a few things we hope will improve the next time we stay: we were informed it was not possible to book the spa after the quite early checkout time of 10am. The bedside tables in our room hadn’t been cleaned and had sticky stains on them. The walls in the bathroom also needed some attention. The rooms were beautiful and big. We had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel.

Cosy, Beautiful, Quiet

In the country-side. and only three mins walk to the station. Even the train ride was wonderful.

As for the hotel, lots of amenities available, altho i didn't use as many.
Food was good and there was quite a range.

So peaceful and warmest bed in all of my journey through Europe. Slept so well, even forgot to close the curtains

What I did not love was the working hours for the restaurant. 9pm for room service and 10 pm for the restaurant, limit if you are hungry at a later time. Other than that loved it!

Aldrig har jeg oplevet så dårlig rengøring på et hotel. Der var pletter fra flasker/glas på bordet, der var tandpasta "sprøjt" på væggen i badeværelset. Brusehovedet så decideret ulækkert ud og vasken var ikke rengjort. Derudover var det ene hængsel til brusedøre ved at falde ud af væggen så døren skrabede hen af gulvet.
eg fik af vide af receptionisten at morgenmaden ville være fra kl. 7 men da jeg og flere andre gæster står dernede 7:15 er der ingen morgenmad. Jeg gik til receptionen og spurgte om ikke der var morgenmad fra kl 7 og han svarede at det er fra kl 8 om søndagen. Jeg skulle nå et tog, så kunne ikke nå morgenmaden, havde jeg vidst det inden kunne jeg have planlagt min morgen anderledes. Personalet virkede ikke til at bekymre sig det mindste om det. De var virkelig ikke særlig serviceminded. Jeg kommer nok ikke igen og kan umiddelbart ikke anbefale stedet.

Personalet var meget lidt opmærksomme på os, og vi måtte flere gange opsøge dem for afklaring om selv helt basale ting. De glemte at udlevere de ting vi skulle bruge og lign. Aftenpersonale var venlige og servicemindede.

Vi havde booket opholdet for at få en spatur med genopladning og for at få et break for afbrudt søvn herhjemme( da vi er en familie med småbørn). Vi fik dog et værelse umiddelbart under det lokale hvor der blev holdt en større julefrokost og på samme gang som flere af deltagerne. Så vi kunne høre musik det meste af natten og havde flere opvågninger om natten grundet fulde mennesker der larmede på gangen hver gang nogen kom hjem. Nærmest en mere forstyrret nat end vi er vant til hjemmefra. Øv.

På værelset virkede fjernbetjeningen til tv’et ikke. Og en af lamperne på skrivebordet blev ved med at falde sammen og vælte med et ordentlig brag. Også om natten. Værelset fremstod generelt slidt og ikke opdateret.

Vores tidligere besøg hos jer var super godt. Men dette andet besøg var virkelig en skuffelse. Desværre.

Spaen fungerer stadig upåklageligt og er et dejligt sted og afbræk. Meget rent, roligt og fint.

Third stay here, and the spa, rooms and breakfast were wonderful as usual. Less wonderful was the member of staff who checked us in, who was stressed and rude and neglected to tell us how to get to our rooms, was snarky when we came back to ask for directions, and only gave us one keycard which turned out not work when we finally reached our room.

Meget skuffet over Comwell

Efter en del besøg på Comwell igennem tiden må jeg desværre meddele at såvel service som morgenmaden var trist.

Ved ankomst sød receptionist.
Næste dag ved 7 tiden en sur receptionist ( mand ) Førhen var der altid søde piger der kunne give en frisk lille morgenhilsen.

Sengene er som de altid har været, men ærlig talt ikke gode at sove i.

Morgenmad var ligeledes en kedelig omgang.
Slet slet ikke som det var engang👎
Morgenbrødet var ikke nybagt, og alt der skulle være lunt var koldt trods det tidlige tidspunkt.

Alt i alt levede stedet ikke op til prisen.

Jeg har været yderst tilfreds og kommer gerne igen. Jeg vil dog bare påpege 2 ting. Mit værelse 332 ( badeværelse) gulvet var slidt og virkede nusset og tilkalket og der var sorte svampelignende kanter i den store swimming pool i kælder spaområdet. Ellers er det et dejligt hotel og en dejlig oplevelse. Tak

Hotellets personal var super trevlig. Men det var skrämmande så dålig luft det var på hotellet. Ingen ac på rummet. Poolerna utomhus uppvärma till 38 grader när det var över 25 grader i luften. Inte ens duscharna utomhus var m kall vatten. Vi checkade ut en dag tidigare än vi skulle pga att det inte gick att sova i denna värmen.

Det blir nok ikke Comwell Borupgaard neste sommer.

Veldig dårlig luft i hele hotellet, ingen sirkulasjon eller aircondition, ikke tilgang til vifter da vi spurte, til tross for at vi skulle være der en hel uke.
Positivt ifht renhold på rommet, måtte bestille ved behov, men hadde ønsket en enklere løsning for å få byttet håndklær og påfyll av toalettpapir.
Synes også opplevelsen i frokostsalen har blitt dårligere, upraktisk lagt opp, mye køer grunnet folk som må løpe på kryss og tvers, både gjester og ansatte.
Tidligere har det vært tilgang til mat på flere stasjoner, både i gang og inne i sal, denne gang kun i frokostsalen.
Synes også personalet ved tidligere besøk har vært blidere og mer serviceinnstilte.
Litt synd, for det er en grunn til at jeg kom tilbake for 3.eller 4.gang nå.

Vi kom som anmeldt kl. 23. men måtte vente længe i receptionen, ellers stor tilfredshed med personalet. Allerede på andendagen gjorde vi opmærksom på at der var et stort hvepsebo uden for vores vindue, som vi altid havde åbent, når vi var der pga varmen, men der skete ikke noget i forhold til dette. Madrasserne var elendige, alt for bløde og hver gang man havde rejst sig fra sengen, skulle de skubbes på plads, da man ellers ville ryge ned.

Det var ett fint hotell och spa. Vårt rum var väldigt enkelt och spartanskt. Vemtilationen var trasig i vårt rum och vi fick bara en fläkt. Våra handdukar kunde inte gorla då lyften var dålig i rummet. Otydlig info från er att pool inte ingick så vi fick betala ca 400 extra per person. Man önskar även att balsam finns i duschen på rummet. Men restaurangen hade väldigt god mat. Personalen var trevlig. Väldigt fint, men lanske inte prisvärt hotell
