Great location and outlook and views. Conveniently located near about of restaurant options at the harbour. Service is friendly and you always get a very warm welcome. Some of the rooms in the original building could benefit from refresh / remodel. Breakfast is great and free hot drinks and afternoon snacks is a welcome treat.

Excellent stay in beautiful Rungsted location

I had an excellent 3-day stay at Rungstedgaard. Beautifully located near the seafront and harbor, it’s ideal for both relaxation and work-related activities. The rooms were slightly dated but very comfortable. The grounds are stunning, and the staff exceptionally friendly.

Everything is perfect EXCEPT that check out time was 9:00 in the morning! Why go on vacation and have to get up and leave before they’ve enen stopped serving breakfast? NOT OKAY!!

Fantastic buffet breakfast, beautiful property, great staff, self serve cappuccino machines in 3 separate areas, free bike rental, beach access just across the street, just 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride to train and bus. Loved this hotel!

Stunning property surrounded by gardens

The property is amazingly beautiful surrounded by well kept interesting gardens. The breakfast is by far the best I've had in in Denmark. It had a wide variety of fresh, well thought out dishes that were prepared perfectly! The classic rooms are small... very small. We had to move furniture to fit 2 standard sized check bags to get the door closed. The shower drain was clogged, but the staff was quick to fix it.

Hotel facilities, staff and food are all excellent. Beautiful setting and lovely grounds. Room was quite basic and air con not great. I had a room with 2 single beds. Bed not comfortable. No toiletries in the room.

Really got lucky with warm clear weather in Denmark which highlighted the beautiful property we turned up in. The grounds are so beautiful we stayed an extra night. Great staff, great breakfast, great position with views to Sweden.

A gem just north of Copenhagen

Beautiful grounds, fun and courteous staff. The food was amazing and all the veggies were grown on site. Across from a beautiful marina. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The waiter was a kick! I would deinitely go back.

Fantastic Hotel

My son and I have now stayed in 4 hotels in Denmark, all totally different, and this one was BY FAR our favourite, not only for comfort (best mattress yet), great breakfast, but also for service and games (pool, ping pong, bikes, trampoline). There is also a cool sculpture park behind the buildings! One thing to know: the walk from the train to hotel is far enough that I would NOT recommend doing this with children and definitely not in the rain. We would have stayed here longer if our travel plans allowed!

Great hotel and grounds. Lovely location.

We stayed here at the start and then decided to return at the end of our road trip from Copenhagen to Oslo.
If you want to be out of the city and have a chilled vibe then this place is for you.
The breakfast is excellent & a great start to the day. The grounds are large and lots of sculptures around (with QR codes giving information) - so you’re doing a gallery just by being there.
Free coffee and tea machines around the premises along with free water bottles.
The bikes are free if you get a superior room but not the standard. If you want a bike and there are two of you - the. You’ve covered the cost of the upgrade. We did this on the return visit.
Being honest, I didn’t feel much of a difference between the rooms. I had phoned before making my return booking and was told there is a balcony. We were given ground floor so there wasn’t.
The shower pretty much covers the entire bathroom floor which wasn’t ideal.
There are many things to do on site - pool table, table tennis. The beach and marina are just lovely and I watched the most amazing sunrise at 5:30am (early but worth it).
If you’re visiting this area for the first time - be aware that most hotels don’t have air con - so nighttime’s can be pretty warm.
Staff were generally friendly. The lady who checked us in the first day was exceptionally helpful.
It’s more pricey, perhaps, then some other hotels close by. However, you get free parking and an amazing breakfast included - I would definitely return.

Another good stay

I keep coming back - its always good to stay there. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast etc. The only thing I would suggest is to have a few power outlets for phones/tablets that are a bit more conveniently located, i.e. near the desk. This wont prevent me from coming back though.

Old but nice hotel with very good service. The only disadvantage were, that both restaurents were closed during the stay (only breakfast). But cafes and restarents were at the harbour only ~300 meters away.

Skønt ophold på et dejligt sted. Meget service minded personale og lette at tale med. Virkelig god morgenmad!! Der er det hele til en god og nærende start på dagen. Virkelig god beliggenhed med Rungsted Havn og kyst med fine muligheder for gode gåture i området. Også med det nærliggende Rungstedlund som nabo. Havde et godt værelse med park udsigt. Kommer igen en anden gang 😊

Gepflegte, weitläufige Anlage in wunderschöner Lage zwischen Hafen und einem kleinen Wald. Mit der Bahn kommt man unkompliziert nach Kopenhagen, der Bahnhof Rungsted Kyst ist fußläufig erreichbar.
Das Frühstück und Essen im Restaurant am Abend waren sehr gut, das Personal freundlich.
Die Suite war geräumig, ruhig und schön eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit bzw. der Zustand der Einrichtung sind aber verbesserungswürdig.

Riesigen schöne Parklandschaft, Frühstücken mit Meerblick und einer fantastischer Auswahl. Das Personal sehr nett. Die Zimmer groß und sauber aber etwas altbacken. Das einzige minus ist der Balkon. Keine Privatsphäre ( keine Trennwände) und sehr ungemütliche Stühle. Top, man ist in 3 Minuten am Bahnhof, wo alle 20 Minuten ein Zug nach Kopenhagen geht ( 30 Minuten Fahrzeit).

Det enda lilla vi önskade var att äggröran och baconet serverades i större byttor och att det fanns pannkakor, i övrigt toppenbra frukost.

Mycket som är toppen!
Dock lite dåligt med avställningsplats i toa och dusch ( som fö var så miljövänlig att jag knappt kunde blöta ner håret... Man kan ha lite mer tryck och ändå spara vatten) lite farlig lutning inne i badrummet också.
Fönster enda ventilation, fick låna fläkt.
Superbra med vatten och kaffe te tillgång och fantastisk frukost!

とても素敵な環境で、リゾート地でありながらローカルの気分もあり快適に過ごせる自然環境が素晴らしかったです。目の前の海までの散歩やビーチ遊びも満喫できます。

難点はコペンハーゲンから電車で向かいましたが、電車遅延が発生するためバスやタクシーなどをうまく駆使する必要があります。
またバスルームがなくシャワーだけにつき値段相当かなとは思います。

子供連れでゆっくりしたかったこと、ルイジアナ近代美術館に向かう目的があったので、その点では満足でした
