Great walkable location with excellent, friendly multilingual customer service staff (Danish & English).
The facilities were going through renovations but it was still all usable and will be beautiful when it’s finished.
Warning - Copenhagen is not a cheap city for accommodation. Needing space for ourselves and our adult daughter for 4 nights, (more that a folding mobile bed), we opted for this apartment@ approx $AU1,000 per night it was more than we expected to have to pay but the apartment, property, location and service could not be faulted.
Loved the ‘green’ initiatives!
Would definitely recommend and return.

This is a well appointed property. We stayed in the tower hoping for a view like the one in the picture - obviously only on 1 side of the tower. We did not get this view. This was slightly disappointing as that was one of the reasons we booked this place. The property is probably quieter than many areas but still we had music pumping till 1-2am. I think when colder not a problem as the windows would not have been open. But still slightly annoying but out of the control of the hotel I think. The shower was fantastic. Bed was comfy. The oven was finnicky to use but got there in the end. So not perfect but I would still recommend. Did not use gym and pool but both looked excellent. Location was good - near Juno bakery and there was a great grocery store on the Nordhavn metro side of the tracks as well as a Lidl in the same spot.

Overall a good stay. We were given a room facing west, which in the summer really heated up the room during the summer. Because the sun sets after 10pm, the apartment can’t be cooled down much without having the windows open and the light coming in.

Some people who smoke in other balconies have their smoke drift into your flat. It seemed that at least 4-5 other balconies were smoking during our stay.

The location is great, easy to walk to the great surrounding neighborhood. Metro and S train close by. Can get to and from the airport with one metro transfer.

Charlottehaven would get 5 stars if they included a fan for hot nights and if there was a restriction on cigarette smoking in the adjacent building.

Nice easy hotel, we stayed in one of the self catering apartments. The kitchen had nearly everything but would have been nice if had one or two extra things like oil for cooking.
Staff were lovely and very helpful.
Would have been good to know that breakfast was served an hour later when it was a public holiday.
Food at breakfast was very good quality and delicious.
Area was generally quiet but walls do carry sound so unfortunately didn’t get the best sleep due to one night there was a concert nearby, baby crying and young lads shouting in the courtyard early in the morning.
Public transport is so easy to use and there is the best gluten free bakery just 2 minutes away.

Really great accomodation, located very close to the metro and train at Nordhavn, meaning it's so easy to get in and out of central Copenhagen but well placed to venture off up to Hornbeak and Honsingor. Excellent pool, immaculately clean and pretty quiet with all the floats needed for kids. Nordhavn is a new area with outdoor swimming, restaurants and plenty of grocery shops (Menu/Metro/Lidl). We self catered so cannot comment on breakfast available in hotel. Thanks Charlottehavn - we will be back!

Blinders don't properly cover the sunlight

The blinders are not covering the sun at all, which makes us wake up at 5am.
There is not way to easily make the room dark, which is a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Charlottehaven is an outstanding option if you’re looking for an apartment style setup (vs traditional hotel) with a bit of separation from the main tourist areas of Copenhagen.

We stayed here for a brief (2.5 day) stop in Copenhagen and would absolutely stay here again. The tower apartment itself was lovely - light, appropriately spacious, and modern - with fantastic views of the city. Location-wise, it is a short walk to many restaurants/groceries and arguably the best bakery in town (Juno is a must) - and an even shorter walk to the metro, which got us everywhere we needed to go quite seamlessly.

Worth noting: Charlottehaven is not a traditional hotel and does not have hotel-level services (namely, no daily housekeeping), which was okay for us; but you should ensure that matches your expectations. That said, there are plenty of amenities (we used the gym and playground; pool looked nice, but you must be 15 to use it, which didn’t work for our family), and the front desk staff was perfectly helpful.

Looking forward to being repeat customers!

Wow what a fantastic property! So great to find an affordable place to stay that had great space for us while travelling! Staff were exceptional and helpful! Room felt like home, had everything we needed, space to make it feel like home, prepare meals, work, relax and great quiet space to sleep with excellent black out blinds. Loved looking over the garden from the balcony listening to the birds. The in suite laundry was also a great feature for the length of our stay. The restaurant downstairs was excellent - we loved the weekend brunches - great setting, staff and food! Great gym and yoga facilities on site. Loved the walk ability to the water, great restaurants and shopping. Fantastic place wish we could have stayed forever.

The photos aren't accurate. The cool wood treatments seem to be in a different bldg. We were also put in a bldg that isn't the one they advertise with the windows popping out. Our rooms didn't have AC and were warm.

Nice staff and fine rooms, but the rooms were not as cool as I thought they were going to be. I feel a bit of bait and swtich.

In almost every respect, this is a really top notch hotel: extremely helpful staff, very new accommodations, etc. Our only quibble: our hotel suite had everything necessary for eating in except for a microwave. The staff explained that few Danes use a microwave because of a belief that it ruins the food. But for foreign guests who don’t have that concern and also need a microwave more than an oven (the oven was new), it’s a lame excuse. But all else was GREAT!

Location is excellent next to both train and metro station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Flat good size ideal for family. The only criticism i would have is that the pool does not allow in children under 5. this is clearly stated on the website but still very disappointing, not come across this rule anywhere else ( however does seem to be a thing in Denmark). I can understand hygiene but most pools allow providing children are in swimming nappies etc.

Lovely apartment hotel in nice quiet location

Our apartment (233) was lovely and had what we needed for our family of 4, and the location worked very well for us. The train at Nordhavn is very close (but not noisy); all sites could easily be reached from it. There's also a nice grocery 1 stop away right next to Osterport station. (We didn't eat at Charlottehavn.) Front desk was helpful, good fitness area. We definitely would stay again.

Personalet var arrogante og så ud som de var trætte af livet. Tv mangler i soveværelset forstår ikke det er i stuen når man burde ku se det i sengen som i alle andre hoteller i hele verdenen.
Køleskab larmede hele dagen og natten.
Mangler mange redskaber i køkkenet blev nødt til at købe de vigtigste ting der manglede, en saks fx en skål med mere….

Ok hotel. Parking was free which is nice but the apartment I stayed in (in the tower, 4) was just OK.

The biggest issue was that the apartments don't have curtains but they have some odd shutter screen that doesn't close off the window entirely which means it's not private. People can peek through. This was annoying. I want to sleep in a room that is dark, not light.

If I wanted to take a shower I felt people could see me so I had to shower in the dark...

Bra hotell för kompisgänget

Fantastiskt bra rum/lägenhet/svit när man är ett kompisgäng eller stor familj. Kanonläge nära både tunnelbana och pendeltåg direkt in till centrum. Enda är att jag älskar nybäddat (behöver inte vara nya lakan) och den servicen fanns inte. Magisk takterrass där man såg hela Köpenhamn. Där var vi på lördagskvällen och såg fyrverkerierna från Tivoli.

Sehr nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Apartment war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Fitnessbereich und der Pool sowie Sauna können mitbenutzt werden. Die Lage liegt zwar außerhalb vom Zentrum, Metro und S-Bahn befinden sich aber in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zentrum kann innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten erreicht werden.
