Second time staying here
Second time I’ve stayed here. They offer private rooms (which is what I booked), they offer breakfast, you can store your luggage and your bike - it’s just a great hostel. Big, yet quiet, they’re eco friendly, have super helpful reception staff, and the private rooms are clean and comfortable. The hostel is out of town but very close to a metro station, a Netto and various food places. It’s also a 20 min walk to the start and finish line of the Copenhagen half marathon. I’ve stayed twice here already and would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom shower head was broken and the drain was clogged and I had to let staff know several times to fix it. The breakfast is subpar. I would recommend just going out to eat breakfast. Also the housekeeping that comes in to clean is very rude and doesn’t care if you’re sleeping or changing clothes

We stayed for 3 nights in family room. The TV was out-of-order when we went in. The reception guy's attitude was poor and said \"what is the problem without the TV?\" \"it's Sunday and the mechanic can come in on Monday only\" \"There are lots of customers that need my help, I can do nothing for you other than writing a request for fixing!\" kind of humiliating me in front of other customers!

It was very basic and clean. It was a 10 minute walk to the subway which we used often. We didn't like paying for parking. They charged a lot and it wasn't even secure. The entrance to the building was not nice and the reception area often had people laying on chairs and couches and was very noisy.

Room was borderline acceptable for a hostel. I would not return to this property. Mattress was black so you couldn’t see if it was dirty. Duvet and pillow dirty, sheets had holes in them. Towels were clean.

We rented a private room for four with a small washroom. The hostel was clean and generally quiet. Staff were helpful. Locals told me the area around isn't the safest, but we had no issues. The metro and train is very close, so it is convenient. A good place to stay for a good price.

There's no A/c and noisy you can hear upstair/downstair room being loud. I left my food in the fridge labeled it and someone touch it, it's gone. Understaff while checking in, long wait. There's kitchen you can cook even the pan is not in good condition. They have microwave, hair dryer, shower gel, body wash and shampoo for single/double room. Tap water is safe to drink.

We try to stay there for close business. The building is big, great location, not expensive. The kitchen and common areas are dirties. We paid 4 nights and we have to leave at the second day, all our body and face were bite for bedbug. The room was really infected with these bugs. If you don’t mind to be bite for bed bug stay there. It’s a cheap facility! Please put more attention to desinfect and clean the areas and rooms. We are very mad for the inconveniences, extra paid for another hotel and worst for the red and big skin rash. We had to buy medicine, and we need days to heal in our trip around the Nordic Countries. We would ask for the total refund. It’s is unacceptable and not responsable from the Administration

Vi havde egentligt et fint indtryk ved tjek ind, med venligt personale og aktiviteter for den mindste. På vej til værelset lugtede det kraftig af cigeretrøg, værelset var småt, hvilket vi var forberedte på, men der var ikke pålagt sengetøj på alle senge, hvorfor vi selv gjorde det. Internettet var meget dårligt og vi valgte at tjekke ud inden vi havde været på værelset i en time. Forståelsen var god og vi fik refunderet pengene fra morgenmaden.

Personalet var ikke så behjælpelige som de fremstod, der var problemer med indtjekningen, da selv indtjekning ikke virkede. Vi er i tvivl om vi har fået det rette værelse da der blev skrevet et andet booking nr på vores p-tilladelse. Og specielt også da der på afrejsedagen kommer rengøringspersonale ind på værelset kl 9.30 inden vi har tjekket ud, (udtjekning er først senest kl 11). Kvaliteten på morgenmaden var ikke pengene værd. Værelset virkede forsømt, flugtvejen på værelset var blokeret. Det var ikke til at lufte ud da man ikke kunne komme til de vinduer der var mulige at åbne. Stikkene ved køjesengene kunne ikke benyttes. Den ene køjeseng stod langt fra væg, så der var risiko for at falde ned mellem køjeseng og væg. Toilettet på værelset som var et handicaptoilet, var toiletrulleholderen knækket af så der stak en skrue ud man kunne ridse sig på

Vi blev ved med at få at vide de ikke have ledige parkerings pladser men der var 22 ledige da vi kom kl 17, da vi kom tilbage kl 23 var der stadig over 10, så det blev dyr parkering på gaden. Vi var 3 afsted (som booket) men der var kun dækket til 2 så den sidste seng skulle vi selv ordne..

Wir waren das 3. Mal im a&o Hostel Norrebro, von Jahr zu Jahr wurde die Einrichtung schlechter. Dieses Mal hatten wir eine Bettdecke mit Blutspuren. 2018 war es noch super, jetzt kann ich das Hostel nicht mehr empfehlen, selbst der Preis ist nicht mehr günstig.

Es ist zwar eine einfache Unterkunft, aber wir hatten ein eigenes Zimmer für zwei Personen mit eigenem Bad und es war schon ein bisschen runtergerockt. Das Zimmer lag außerdem im Keller und vor unserem Fenster war draußen ein kleiner Bereich, den man über eine Treppe erreichen konnte, der vom Rest des Grundstücks nicht eingesehen werden konnte, weswegen sich da immer wieder Leute aufgehalten haben. Das war überhaupt kein angenehmes Gefühl über Nacht. Vor allem, weil die Gardinen nicht groß genug waren um die Fenster komplett zuzuziehen. Der Check-In soll eigentlich digital funktionieren, ich habe aber niemanden gesehen bei dem das funktioniert hat. Alle mussten noch mal Zettel ausfüllen und von einer Rezeptionistin eingecheckt werden. Der ganze Ablauf war überhaupt nicht reibungslos und hat ewig lange gedauert. Ja, es war günstig und wem es darauf ankommt in Kopenhagen günstig zu übernachten, der ist hier richtig, wir werden das aber nicht noch mal machen. Positives die Verkehrsanbindung und die Sauberkeit. Gegessen haben wir vor Ort nix und auch nichts an der Bar getrunken.
