First time in Copenhagen, the hotel was nice and clean. We didn’t use the restaurant as we went out each evening but it was full every night and looked a great place to go. ( you need to book in advance, which is fine and suggest great food) staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Good central location. We arrived early but were able to check in right away, which was much appreciated. Two rooms next to each other as requested. There was not a door in between but the keys opened both doors, which was nice. Bathrooms were quite roomy. Beds and bedding were comfortable. The restaurant was just okay, with high prices and slow service.

The Imperial hotel is well located not far from the main train station and around 5 minutes walk from Tivoli Gardens. It’s a large hotel close to local amenities such as a good grocery store and cafes and restaurants. Our room was not huge a standard double but adequate with a table and two chairs. The room was clean and modern and the mattress was absolutely amazing one of the best i have slept on firm but very very comfortable. We did not try the breakfast but on the whole nothing to complain about.

I had a good stay at Imperial hotel, staff were super friendly. I must say though the bedding wasn’t very clean, the room service charge was too much with bad quality of food from the restaurant. The location of the hotel was very good. Check in was straightforward but the check out was quite a long wait with person at reception only, and a queue of people waiting to check in.

Lovely hotel. Great location. We hired a car and very convenient car park for it. Great restaurant attached. Had an issue with service being slow. Meal booked for 8.30pm no starters and mains not received till after 2115 plates not cleared and we were asked if we wanted bill before being asked if we wanted desert to then be told kitchen shut at 2200. The staff should have been quicker and it’s up to them to get the menus to us in time. Waiter a bit off telling us what we could have ( ice cream etc) and when we didn’t want those he said he get us the others if we wanted them. He should have said that first. So we decided not to spend more on them. Unfortunate end to evening as we’d eaten there twice and the food was great. Like everything in Copenhagen fairly expensive

The hotel is clean and room is in decent size. Breakfast is excellent. The only concern is the elevator. It is really small and may be able to fit two people with luggage each. Also, they only have 3 of them serving all hotel rooms. It is definitely not enough and you may have to wait for long time especially during check out time.

A manager called B. Assam listened to our tale, said he'd worked at the hotel for 20 years and nothing of the sort had ever happened before. He then insulted us by offering 2 soft drinks as compensation! We'd already said we didn't want compensation, just a different room. His attitude was in contrast to the rest of the staff, especially a man called Oliver who was very helpful. He'd checked up and found that a football supporter who had been in the room next to us had checked out early that morning.

Feather Allergy
Requested a feather free room when booking. Confirmed a week before check in that the room would be feather free. Hotel confirmed. At check in asked again that the room was feather free. Hotel staff confirmed. My friend started to have a reaction so we went looking for feathers. Two of the four pillows were feathers. Picture of tag provided. My friend had a dangerous allergic reaction and a terrible nights sleep because of this mistake. When we called the front desk they told us there were no feathers in the hotel anywhere. We were looking at the tag so we knew they were wrong. Staff came and got the pillows but made no apologies for the mistake. At check out, we asked again about the pillows. Staff again denied the presence of feathers in our room so we showed them the picture. It was only now their tune changed. They combed our breakfast bill but the whole situation could have been a lot worse. People who are allergic to feathers should not stay here.

The bathtub should be replaced with a flat shower floor. The bathtub is too narrow, making it very easy to lose balance and fall. There is also interference from a large towel holder and the handle bar is too low to use when standing and taking a shower. As it is, the bathtub is dangerous.

The staff are fabulous, they really make this hotel great. Superb service, knowledgeable and friendly. Lobby, room and facilities were clean and comfortable and just what we wanted and needed. Great location for transport, breakfast and orher meals and central for a lot of the places we wanted to go. I will come back to this hotel for sure. Lovely stay and great four days in Copenhagen.

We only had one night stay here & were flying back to the US the following morning. The property was very nice, close to Tivoli Gardens. The staff was friendly, however did not acknowledge or give any VIP benefits from Expedia despite my emails & messages. Our room was spacious and clean, but the air conditioner was broken and blowing hot air. The windows only opened a crack so it got very hot and it was difficult to sleep. There was also construction and noise going on right below our room through the night. The staff sent someone to check, who agreed the air conditioning was not working. They said there was no other room that could accommodate us unfortunately. In the morning I asked for compensation in the way of free breakfast -which they agreed to.
