Excellent location , the lounge snacks and drinks were great . At the bar the Aperol spritz were great and they have a great happy hour . I dont have the names I’m sorry but the Spanish who checked us in was amazing , also the French gentleman at the lounge was very funny and nice and the danish gentleman at the bar who gave us recommendations when visiting the Hamlet castle . I would stay here every time I’m in Copenhagen. Close to the central train station, Tívoli gardens , shopping

Great hotel right in the middle of everything. Easy metro ride from airport. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are warm, clean, and well laid out. Lovely view of the main square and very quiet with windows closed in March. 7 Eleven next door for snacks and essentials. Highly recommend!

Modern and spacious room. Comfortable bed and well located. Lovely breakfast. Only issue was when I asked for clean towels and the bins to be emptied it wasn’t done so had to go to reception to collect the towels myself and had to empty our own bins when we saw the cleaners in the corridor the following morning.

Had to request cleaning room at reception but that wasn’t a problem, just something we weren’t used to. Building works were going on but not too early in the morning. Room was situated above a pub which was quite loud one night but not unbearable. Room was spotless and lobby area really nice to relax in.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, property well maintained and secure. In the center of the city and steps away from shopping, Tivoli, and the National Museum. Location is also about a 20-minute walk to Nyhavn and a 30-40-minute walk to the harbor. A perfect home base for travelers to the city with easy access to metro, bus lines, and the train station - will definitely stay there again when in Copenhagen.

We booked a superior room with lounge access. For a superior room it was small and somewhat dated and only had a view of an apartment block. It was clean and had 2 comfy chairs and everything worked ok. We had issues with getting our room serviced. On the first day we hung out the please service our room sign and nothing happened. Apparently we should have requested room service. On the second day we did and returned to find nothing had been done. We complained and they fixed it.
We did not have breakfast preferring to eat out. We did use the lounge which was good. We found the reception staff helpful.

Close to restaurants and shopping district, and central to downtown and across the street from metro station for easy transit access. Clean and comfortable room. Lounge area in lobby area with bar. No restaurant or room service options, so plan accordingly. 7-Eleven is next door for easy bottled water and snacks access - the 7-11s are much higher quality here than in North America, with higher quality deli food if you get late night cravings.

Staff not really ok giving wrong information about the rooms, forgetting important information as for example “on demand” room making (a non sense per se). Impossibility to get a new bottle of water for the second day in the mini bar.
Super small low quality pillows making the night a nightmare…

1. Check-in experience

Upon arrival, the receptionist attempted to check me in under another guest’s name. Despite me showing my booking confirmation, she continued trying to charge me again and insisted that my booking was for a single room when it was a double.
As a homosexual couple visiting the county, this created a sense of anxiety and discomfort, as we were momentarily concerned we would not be able to share the room we booked. This made the check-in process unnecessarily stressful and left a poor first impression.

2. Room cleanliness and comfort

The beds were extremely uncomfortable.
The bed linens did not appear to be clean, raising concerns about hygiene and overall housekeeping standards.
The towels provided were of very poor quality.
We required extra pillows, which were kindly provided by the housekeeping staff. Their assistance was appreciated.

3. Bathroom condition

The bath was not properly sealed, causing leaks.
The shower pressure was very low, making it difficult to use.

4. Noise levels

Our room was located right next to the landing and lifts, which resulted in significant noise throughout the night. This made it difficult to sleep and further impacted the comfort of our stay

5. Check-out experience

When checking out, we were not asked how our stay had been. As we attempted to raise the issues listed above, the receptionist began speaking to her colleague instead of listening. This came across as dismissive and unprofessional, preventing us advising

Loved our stay here and will stay again if I return to beautiful Copenhagen. The hotel is so central for everything, right next to Tivoli Gardens. Beautiful lobby to chill in at the end of a long day seeing the sights and the staff are welcoming and helpful. No complaints and will recommend it to friends and family.

The room was a good standard of cleanliness, and staff were polite and courteous, the room was also quiet considering the proximity to local pubs. My Fiancee loved the heated floor in the bathroom. My only fault was with how tempremental the app was to use with it not working in the lift multiple times. I appreciate it's a new thing the hotel have implimented though and the staff were than happy to give us replacement physical cards. Would stay again!

I know Denmark is expensive. We live in Singapore and have moved from, Hong Kong, London and NYC - we are used to high prices. Even so the price of this hotel was wayyy too high for the quality. This is less than a 3 star in reality with a very very small room and terrible view. No service at all given by staff. Do not recommend.

We really enjoyed The Square. Great location. Great customer service. Nice rooms, CLEAN rooms. A small bar. A larger lounge with amenities. An exercize room, didn't use it. Really comfortable place to call home for a week. Breakfast, the defining thing in a hotel, was very good. We'd love to go back.

Overall a good place to stay in a great location, restaurants/cafes, convenience/grocery stores and shopping nearby. Clean comfortable room on the 4th floor, the only negative is that the bathtub area had mold, for a hotel of this rating that is unacceptable.
this is a city hotel on a main roadway so we requested a room on the back of the hotel that overlooked the “courtyard” it isn’t an attractive view but is less noisy than the front that overlooks the roadway We did have the windows open, the bells ring each hour and half hour until 12:00pm, but the fresh air was nice with the exception of one day the exhaust smell from a restaurant was in the air. The room had a lot of sunlight in the afternoon.
The hotel has a nice rooftop lounge for a fee but they have snacks & drinks and it’s a nice area to go at the end of the day. The hotel doesn’t have self service laundry but there is a Mont Vask laundromat within walking distance.

Lack of staff

We have been informed via e-mail that if we would like to room cleaning, we should have tell a night before until 10 pm. We have requested room cleaning while we check in for next day, but nobody showed up. When we asked about it to reception they told us the staff is already gone. They offered us that they can help by thr self, and we had the towels. The thing is it is amazing to not have staff, also it is amazing that even if you hang the sign for cleaning, they don’t do if you didn’t request a day before. (Even we requested, they forgot)
Alao there is a lounge if you are eligible. When we visited the lounge on 30.08, there are very rare guests. Many tables were empty, but none of tables were available to sit. All dirty dishes were in all tables and there were no staff.
