The room is small but great for a budget one. Check in and out was a breeze.
The room felt like staying in an inside cabin of a cruise ship if it was designed by IKEA.
Had everything I needed to stay the night, rest and get ready the next day.
The breakfast was a buffet and included most of the important part people look for during that time.
Not great for big families or with kids but for singles or couples it makes a great budget choice right by the central station area

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff kind and helpful. The lifts were temperamental, but lifts always are! I could hear the lift go from my room, as the walls were quite thin, luckily I'm not a light sleeper! There were limited hot vegetarian options for breakfast however

Really enjoyed the stay, a slight bit of an unusual place but it was very warm and slept well, no main lighting but there are small lights dotted around instead. Shower was hot and good pressure but the floor gets very wet afterwards. No issue however.

The downstairs communal area we used a lot more than we thought we would, a few TVs and seating, good toilets and travel info.

Captain room included a balcony and hair dryer, and a lot more floor space, but I was very happy in the Commodore room.

Staff are lovely and helpful so I would happily stay again.

The CABINN stay was perfect. We used it only for sleeping and breakfast, the rooms are about the size of a cabin on a cruise ship! As a person who is gluten free the breakfast choice was small with only scrambled eggs on the hot bar. The staff kindly provided a gf roll which was tasty with the jam or sliced meat. Staff were able to answer questions about transportation and point us in various directions. We walked 37 miles in 5 days and found the hotel to be very central.

Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Room was very small for 2 people and the shower was unusual! Very good breakfast. Easily accessed from the airport via the 5C bus which stops right beside the hotel. All in all, a great centrally situated hotel from which to explore beautiful Copenhagen

Clean Budget Hotel

The hotel is ideally placed being less than a 10 minute walk from the railway station (which is only 3 stops from the airport). It's also right by Tivoli Gardens with the closest entrance being opposite the railway station. The room we had was small but had everything we needed - twin beds, a tv, tea & coffee & a small ensuite shower room. We both found the beds comfortable but we got very hot overnight despite having the window open. The reception staff were very helpful & can provide a hair drier if you need one. Our room was right by the lit up hotel sign which did illuminate the room overnight, good for us as my daughter likes a night light generally. The hotel also offers luggage storage (at your own risk) which we used on our final day. The downsides were the fact that we got very hot overnight despite having the window open 24/7 and then were disturbed early morning (5am'ish) by dustcarts or deliveries to the building site that was just up the road.
Having said that we would happily stay here again as it served our purpose and was ok for a budget hotel and we imagine that once the building works are complete it will be a lovely quiet place to stay.

The room was very clean, and the hotel was in a great location. The room was extremely hot when we arrived with no air flow. The bathroom though clean smelled very milldewy and did not have a fan.

Overall the room was fine, very small but that was expected. The bathroom was difficult and too small.

I suppose this was a budget hotel, but while clean, the room is awkward in its layout. The supposed breakfast they offer needs to be ordered in advance. The WiFi only works in the lobby. By the time you’re done paying for every little thing, you’ve spent more than at a regular hotel but you’re not as comfortable.

Great ideas in hospitality depend on factors

CABINN City is one is several basic new hotels in Denmark which focus on simple furnishings, environmental foci, and lower costs. In general, the idea works very well, BUT we found two specific issues during our stay: when the weather is very warm, it is hard to get the room comfortable for sleeping, and being very close to Tivoli is fantastic but very noisy until after 11pm (and VERY noisy until after midnight Saturday due to prolific fireworks!

The small room is to be expected being in Europe, and the location is fantastic. We stayed here before and after our cruise, three nights total. Would recommend!! Only negative is the shower situation, there is no floor divider so the entire floor of the bathroom is soaked after a shower.

Best value in Copenhagen but tiny room

Our room with bath was smaller than an inside cabin on a cruise ship! Our family - mom, dad, & 12 yr old son with 4 suitcases and 3 backpacks played “traffic jam” when maneuvering in the space. Wee little balcony one could climb out on like a hobbit was cute. The staff were super and the common areas inviting. Other hotel options were double the $.

- Down sides are: no safety box nor fridge in the room. Travelling in summer in Europe is hot (a fridge will definitely help)
- Bathroom is way too small.

The location was perfect, near lots of tourist attractions plus with the added bonus of the train station/Metro station a short walk away and the 5C bus line to and from the airport just around the corner. Lastly the breakfast is good value, plenty of choice and is situated in the basement with plenty of space.

This is a very honest Hotel! It’s absolutely a budget offering, but it does what it says on the tin. I wasn’t overwhelmed with breakfast, but it was fine. No issues with not having a restaurant, there’s lots of great options a short walk away, super super convenient for the train and metro as well.
Rooms are small as befits budget hotel, but clean, sensibly laid out and most importantly well soundproofed!!! I was close to the lift so could hear that, but no noise bleed through from other rooms at all, which is actually really rare and very much appreciated!

If you want plush, this isn’t for you. If you want a clean, sensible well priced hotel then give this a look. I booked really early for the Ironman weekend, but cannot grumble at around £450 for five nights!

A reasonable room with decent amenities

As a whole, the stay was good, it was in the epicentre of CopenHagen where the tourist attractions were literally at the doorstep of where I was staying. As a whole the breakfast buffet was quite good where there was a variety of food, but could have done more with further varieties and cuisines as we don’t believe the investment lived up to our expectations but the food was tasty as a whole.

Going to the room, it was average, there was a bed and a very small bathroom which was adjacent to our bedroom where there was no sort of ventilations inside and wasn’t soundproof and was hard to operate the taps on the sink as well for the showers. The room was clean, but was only reclined every three days rather than every two.

As a whole it was a good hotel which was reasonable priced and met up to the standards for most people who would be there.

There were so many things wrong with this hotel. I did not know that there was not a true \"shower,\" but only a curtain that demarked the \"shower\" (with a little bit of mold in the grouting). And I really did not know that there would never be hot water. The room was tiny and there was limited space for anything. It was okay for one person, but I don't know how a couple would stay there!

I really wanted to dislike this place. I wanted to give it a terrible review. But EVERYONE at this hotel was SO NICE. I received more help than any one human being deserved and they never acted as it I was asking for too much. The staff made an experience that could have been uniformly miserable into something much better.

For basic accommodation was fine, rooms were small but had everything we needed. Great location and Easy to find. Down side the rooms got very hot even for not very hot days outside but windows open didn’t work as people were talking loudly in the court yard until gone 2300. Only other criticism is that there isn’t a children breakfast option for a child over 3 to pay the same as an adult is ridiculous. If it’s free under 3 why not have half price up to10 years old. Meant we went elsewhere for breakfast and lost out on adults bringing in revenue as well.

This was a very convenient place to stay near the railway station, which in turn gives easy access to the airport and beyond. The room was clean and reception friendly and efficient. The area was quiet, but near to some nice restaurants. I would certainly use again.

We had a very pleasant three night stay. The room and bed was very comfortable, and the hotel is very well situated , a few minutes from the train station and Tivoli Gardens, and walkable to the other main attractions. There were a couple of construction sites nearby which meant some unwelcomed noise early in morning.
The room (Captain) was compact but fine for a short stay, the shower was good, other than there is no extractor fan which is not great for steam. We did discover the door to the tiny balcony did open which helped. Breakfast was fine, although the room where served is a bit soulless and crowded when we stayed. Don't need TVs on!
The staff were v friendly and helpful, v hot while there and they gave us a small fan which was welcomed. . Also additional pillows as the two extremely soft pillows were not our cup of tea! There is a good lounge area and you can buy drinks at reception. Has secure storage for a small fee if needed when you check out.
USB ports in room would be a good addition but otherwise good value for central Copenhagen

It was very well situated with about an 8 to 20 minute walk to the main atractions and tours. The Tivoli gardens are about a 2 minute walk, which is right across from the main train station. Very convenient. The room was small, but for a single traveler, it was fine. The bathroom was the shower, and it was fine too, once i figured out how to turn the shower on. They dont clean your room unless you request it, but on my second day I received clean towels, which was nice because I used an extra towel to dry the bathroom floor after having a shower so I would not track water outside the bathroom. Larger rooms are probably better in that respect. The staff were great and their bike rental was well worth it. On a budget? Book it.
