Really close to the side door of Copenhagen central station, 7-Eleven on the corner of the street, two good bars within 100m, plenty of nearby restaurants, a Lidl 300m away, and a short walk to Tivoli Gardens! Could not have been been better placed for us.

Average overall. Disappointing that the restaurant was being refurbished so that was moved into an area outside reception where I presume we could have hung out at night as a larger family. At the same time the location was good. Prices to eat and drink in the area had gone up from last year!

The staff was very friendly and the hotels central location is of course very favorable, but that's about it for the positives I'm afraid. I'm 99% sure I booked a room with a double bed for me and my girlfriend and instead we got two single beds. The beds were also far too hard. On top of all this we had to use a bathroom and shower outside in the corridor at a HOTEL. I've been to hostels with shower units inside the dorms, come on now... Considering the price wasn't that much lower than other places I know for a fact there are better options in copenhagen.

Ease of booking and checking in late. Coming and going was easy too.
Sheets were clean but didn’t fit the bed properly. The bathroom was clean but had a bad smell. Shutting the door to the bathroom fixed it. Towels provided were clean. Shower was hot but a bit odd as water leaked underneath and had to put a towel to stop it coming out of bathroom. Fine for a 2 night stay and location was amazing right by the station.

I had a good stay, very central part of the city and right next to a cool bar and food. Room was nice and clean, much smaller than what it seemed on Expedia though. Breakfast was good but not included in my stay which I was confused about. The one thing that really had me take stars away were the bathrooms, only 2 showers for the whole floor and pretty grimey throughout the day. Mold all over and ceiling tiles coming down. Maybe chalk it up to me being American but this is how I felt.

I was on my own so booked a single room but the bed was tiny and I felt as if I was going to fall out if it.

The main problem was the noise. I was on tge 3rd floor but there was no sound insulation from the street and the late night noise was sufficient to keep me awake even after a number of beers.

The internal sound insulation was equally poor.

Quite simply for all the good points, lovely helpful staff, clean and a reasonable location go elsewhere.

Room is very noisy with street noise, esp at night. Room is facing directly to public bathroom so there’s noise constantly from the hallway. Carpet looks old, dirty and smelly. There’s no ramp from entrance to the lobby, need to bring up suitcases on stairs. There’s no storage room for luggage if you check in early or want to leave luggage after check out.

Our room is very clean and has daily service . It was spacious for three people, and as we were on the fourth floor there was a lift access.
The staff are very polite, courteous and helpful.
There is a continental breakfast and enough to chose from.
The hotel is a minute walk from the main train station and very central and in the heart of Copenhagen.
We all enjoyed our stay and should we return we would definitely book again Hotel Nebo.

Very budget, close to transit, wouldnt stay again

Polite and helpful check in staff. We opted to pay the $20 to check in an hour early, as the luggage room was just a closet in the lobby. We booked a room with no bathroom and would suggest that others DO NOT do this. Usually it is fine for us, but the bathrooms werent very well kept. Shower shoes required for showering. Only 2 toilets per floor, expect a line in the morning. NO airconditioning or fans, but it was a good temperature for leaving the window open in September. Unfortunately, even with a courtyard room, it was sometimes hard to sleep. At 10pm, 3am, and 6am, the resturaunt below VERY, VERY loudly takes out their trash. They drag the bin and slam it over and over, it was almost comical. Beds squeek and arent very comfortable, but not the worst. The room size wasnt huge but not small either - sink in room is a plus.

The hotel does have laundry technically, it has 1 machine. They removed a toilet in the bathroom and added a washer and dryer. You are given 2 hours to use the room if you pay $15 USD. The washer takes 1 hour 38 minutes (cannot open mid way) and the dryer takes 1 hour 8 minutes - these are on the settings that the hotel requires (delicate). Im not sure if this is an oversight or tneir attempt to get more money out of you.

I was told by staff that I booked a budget 2 star hotel, and in Copenhagen, this is what you get. The elevator did not work. Our shower drain did not drain and flooded the entire bathroom in about 2 minutes. The staff was very friendly. They plunged the shower and also gave us a ton of towels to dry the floor. There was an erotic store a block down from the hotel and homeless people here and there. It was close to the metro and to the central train station. Things looked better in the light of day. The Chinese restaurant next to the hotel had absolutely delicious fish and wide noodles with beef. The Ol pub around the block had great beer and outside seating.

The lady working the afternoon/evening shift was very rude and non-caring. My husband needed help with printing something and she would not help him.
She set me up to use the laundry room and when I needed more time to dry, she accused me of washing two loads the reason my clothes weren’t dry in her allotted time.
The gentlemen on duty were nice and friendly. One even worked hard to give us an extra day. However it was booked and he couldn’t. She was NOT nice! It would serve customers well if she found another occupation. Public contact is not her strong suit.

Really great location - so close to Copenhagen station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. However there seemed to be an issue with the plumbing, creating wafts of sewage through the room. To combat this smell, we opened the windows, which allowed a lot of noise to enter from the busy street - so sleeping was a bit tricky. There was no air conditioning but the fan provided much needed comfort.

The location of Nebo was excellent, right next to the train station, but that means it's also right near Tivoli Gardens, which has a beautiful fireworks display on certain nights that sounds like it is happening in the room next door. And the street noise was also a little loud. We opted for the private bathroom, which was tiny. Comfortable beds though and very friendly staff.

I liked the fact that it was close to the central train center and that many attractions were nearby. There is also a court yard to sit.
I didn’t like that one of the staff was rude at the front desk. She didn’t have any class or respect for the guests. If it wasn’t for her it would got a better rating. And she was the only person working there that was Danish. The rest of the staff were non Danish but had a better upbringing

They gave me the room on the 5th floor and the elevator was not working. It was a real challenge after walking long hours and having travelled for 6 hours. The room was fine for a night but you would constantly hear crackling and water sound from the other rooms. Eventhough the shared shower and toilet was on the same floor and clean, the shared shower consept was my first experince and didn’t like it for sure… But the hotel was right next to the Central train station and it was a big plus..

I was not impressed at first. My room was very small and the bed was only 75mm wide.
However, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and I slept well.
The staff at reception were mostly helpful.
The lift didn’t work but the staff offered to help me with my luggage.
The internet worked ok.
I did not eat at the hotel.
Because the hotel was less than 150metres from the railway station, it was very good for me.

Value for money and great location

Location excellent, all staff we encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. We had standard en suite rooms, nothing fancy but had everything you would need and were clean. I imagine it is hot in the warm weather, and the bins get emptied early and loudly, but nothing to spoil our experience. Bag drop both sides of our room being available also a bonus. Would stay again if we come back to Copenhagen.

Location to transportation and ease of getting around to tourist sights was very good for us but makes it a high traffic and noise area especially at night! It is, however, a minimalist hotel that can be common in European countries, i.e., no air conditioning, no complimentary coffee or tea in the room, or the lobby. There is a machine you must pay to use. There is a breakfast restaurant with basic choices and a high price tag considering the choices. The room was small but clean and the staff was very helpful.

All staff was kind and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage when we first got in because it was too early for check-in, and then we were able to easily walk through Copenhagen. The hotel was quiet and there was more space in the room than I expected. Breakfast was delicious and is served at reasonable hours. Check-out was very easy.
