This hotel ticks all the boxes and we stayed on the 6th floor with great views of the central station and Tivoli. We had some issues with noise from the renovations starting well before the advertised 9am and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful to compensate us in a number of ways which we were incredibly grateful for. The rooms are large, have wonderful products in the bathroom and there is good storage space. There was a mini fridge in the room also. Having been to Copenhagen before a number of times this is now our go-to hotel. Conveniently located, with short walks to Meatpacking District, Stroget for shopping and all the main attractions. The metro is also easy to access and not expensive which we used a few times. Breakfast at this hotel is very nice, and they cater to all needs. You can order from a menu or help yourself to fruits, cereals, pastries, cheeses and hot foods. The omelette and greek yoghurt off the menu were our favourite choices.

We felt somewhat disappointed with our stay at the Raddison Collection Royal - two main areas that need attention are the cleanliness of the rooms ( everything from the aircon to the curtains have layers of dust) and the breakfast (both service and food selection needs improvement).

I was disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Despite its five-star rating, the experience fell far short of what you'd expect at that level, and I don't believe it justifies the premium price.
Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The room didn't feel properly cleaned, and housekeeping service was particularly poor—throwing our stuff all around. For what we paid, this was unacceptable. On top of that, the placement of appliances is terrible, espresso machine is placed nowhere near the electric outlet.
I'd especially caution families: this hotel is not child-friendly. If you're traveling with kids, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The Radisson is terrible with child policy, they make you upgrade to rooms advertised for 3 adults for having a young. Most of the other hotel chains are much more child-friendly.
I booked through third-party (Expedia) and the hotel did not honor the 20% off food discount
Overall, this is my first trip stayed with Radisson chain and I will never book them again, and can't recommend it to others expecting a true luxury experience.

Like - It was near the centre so walkable, convenient for public transport, and building was easy to spot so you knew your way back after a wander.
Rooms were fairly clean, although I had a weird stain on my side of the headboard. Water pressure in shower good (with lower shower head), so that's important after wandering round the city as its cold in winter and good way to warm up. They said they had a sauna but we couldn't find it, then when we asked to clarify they said its inside the respective changing rooms but you have to walk through the tiny gym to get there, with all the sweaty guys staring at you, so not relaxing, and couldn't use it with my husband together.
Reception & Bar staff in the evenings were lovely, and friendly, but the breakfast staff were quite surly! I asked for poached eggs on toast as part of the a la carte menu, when it came there was only one and it was covered in chili flakes, when I asked if I could have one without chili flakes as I am extremely intolerant to them, the server actually rolled their eyes and sighed. When you told them the coffee machines was out of milk, or coffee, they got annoyed.
The beds were okay comfort wise but you could actually feel a huge divot where the mattress had sagged in the middle over time, where I laid if I out my leg out towards the edge it went up 6inches.
overall distinctly average. Acceptable only, but not what you'd class as 4star. Would I stay again. If I wasn't paying maybe -if I was, probably not.

we had room 1917 - a small room next to the elevators and with a lot of noise from elevators. I visited the sauna - the worst sauna I have seen for years.
Apart from the price we found nothing at this hotel more than average level.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. I stayed in a suite, which was beautiful and offered spectacular views from the 18th floor. The location was perfect, with easy access to several attractions, especially Tivoli Gardens. I also enjoyed a great cocktail on my first day. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We didn’t have time to try any drinks from the bar. We arrived in the morning did an excursion for the rest of the day and left very early the next morning. Our departure was before breakfast opened but were provided with a nice breakfast box to go.

I’m disappointed to give this hotel just 2 stars. I've stayed here many times before, and it used to be fantastic. However, the service has declined significantly, the cleanliness is lacking, the AC wasn't working, and the breakfast was terrible. It’s a shame to see such a once-great place fall so far.

An historic place and a testament to Danish design. The lobby is particularly memorable. Although very well maintained, some aspects are a little dated. Windows don’t protect well against street noise. Aircon is a little noisy. Recommended however as you feel transported back in time.

Bad experience taking the price into comcideration

I stayed at Villa Copenhagen for 3 nights before going to Raddison, and expected a higher or as high standard here.
Sadly, this was NOT the case.
The rooms are very run down, especially the windows, which have obvious issues with leaks and white rust in the aluminum.
The AC units in the room were both extremely dusty and dirty, and the 3 Way valve in both of them is broken, so it woke our kid up several times every night, as it makes a loud noise everytime it moves (every 10-15 mintes).
The toilet had visible black mold all over.
The bed and floor were riddled with long black hair, which did not come from us, since we do not have dark hair, which indicates poor cleaning.
When we came back to the hotel after a long day, housekeeping had left a big bag of trash in the corridor, and the whole floor stank like hot garbage.
The view from our window (room 405) was promised to be a ticoli view, but while we did see some of tivoli, we mostæy saw a roof full of trash left from renovations, which must have been there fir some time, which is NOT to be expected from a 5 star hotel.
Overall this was a really bad experience, taking the price of almost 5000dkk per night into concideration, and i would not stay here again, or reccomend anyone to stay here at this price.

I was on an overnight flight from NYC and got to the hotel at 8am. Of course it’s early for a room but the lady at the desk was not going to give a room. She suggested coming back at 1pm, then 2pm and finally got a room at 3pm on the button.
Mattress was too soft, my back is still sore. Gym is open to the public and always very busy. Location is noisy due to above ground trains and fireworks from Tivoli. Bar at hotel is very pricey, for small sized drinks. I will stay at the Marriott on the harbor the next time.

Terrible experience. I booked this hotel expecting a 5-star stay, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The room was filthy — dirty, stained towels everywhere, the bed was a complete mess with visible stains, and *the wall was broken and had been removed, exposing mechanical panels and construction mess. I have never had such a bad experience at a so-called 5-star hotel.

I asked to change rooms, but unbelievably, the second room had the exact same issue — exposed walls and mechanical panels. The staff excused it by saying “it was clear in the system, but maybe housekeeping was busy.” Clearly, the hotel is either under construction or completely neglected, yet they’re still charging full price for rooms in this condition. There were serious safety concerns, poor management, and obvious issues with how the hotel is being run.

I was exhausted after a long trip, just needing a clean, safe place to sleep — instead, I was met with filth, broken furniture, exposed walls, and total discomfort.

This is false advertising and completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 5 stars. Do not stay here.

I strongly urge the platform and hotel management to take this seriously, review the condition of the property immediately, and stop misleading guests with false advertising. Safety and hygiene should never be compromised.
