Hotel is fine but very worn. The carpet in the room was sort of hard and sticky. The duvet covers were clean but the actual duvets inside were yellowed and stained. Small rooms. Very hot in the room with lots of train noise outside if you decide to open the windows. Good location for transport links.

Great view of pink buildings from my window. The train is extremely loud going past all time until very late at night. One night - what u presume was a maid - entered my room very early in the morning even though I had do not disturb on. I didn’t get to see them as they ran out when they realised I was in bed. Very odd.

The internet on 6th floor is bad... I could not stream programs from YouSee on my PC
If I wanted a late checkout (15.30) you would charge me 200kr pr hour, which is very steep.
I brought dinner to my room and borrowed knife and fork - but I could not borrow a plate???
The staff at reception and housekeeping were polite. Overall I had a nice stay. But the above issues were a nuissance. Best Joern Hald

Only problem was the shower. There was not any water pressure and nothing could be done about it. Otherwise was great.

The room had what we needed. It was basic. There was no aircon which meant the room was very hot and stuffy. It was too noisy to keep the window open at night. No English breakfast tea or milk provided in the room. Room was rather dated, could do with a refurb. Bed was very soft and hot. Shower was pretty good but had to get into a high sided bath to shower. Bath was tiny so hardly worth being there. Good soap/body wash etc provided. Safe didn’t work. No drawers or shelves for clothing which meant keeping in case, something I hate. Breakfast facilities were great. All staff were very helpful. Only got bottled water in room on first day of stay. Great location for access to the city centre, sights etc and for travel outside. It was clean and tidy too.

Great for an amazing spot in an expensive city. Breakfast is decent for the price and staff are attentive and the room for the price is great! Only downside is the key system... the keys frequently lose charge even if left in the room, and while the staff persistently blamed us, I can assure them, while I had a good stay, if the key stays in the room, it is not my fault the door/master electricity charge gets lost.

The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. I liked the variety each day. It wasn't always the same stuff.

Our room however was very warm and difficult to sleep in. We were offered a fan but decided against it fearing the noise would keep us awake.

The people at reception were very helpful and courteous.

Almost everything about the stay was perfect. It was clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect. However, for both check-in and check-out there was only one person working on the reception desk, which meant that it only took one difficult customer ahead of us to make the waiting times very long. They could do with at least one more member of staff during peak check-in/out times.

Nothing extra here, only the very mere basics

We were on a 24 h get away, with dinner and a concert.
We were a bit concerned about our room being literally right next to the paddle/tenniscourt, but when we asked for a possible change of rooms, this was denied. We were not offered any possible upgrade, not even for reasonable added cost.
Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was good.

The staff were lovely and the hotel in general was good but the bed was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept on! We were in a family room with the double bed being a sofa bed. It squeaked really loudly with the slightest movement and we could feel every spring.

Da migliorare in alcuni punti tipo, in bagno, la vasca è da eliminare. Manca la ventilazione in camera e devi aprire la finestra. È Silenziosa xche ho chiesto lato opposto alla stazione ferroviaria, si trova in centro e facile per andare ovunque. La colazione è top. Personale gentile.

The hotel is situated in a great location. The bathroom floods whenever you take a shower because the water drains so slow. The views from the top floor balconies are amazing, but the train noise makes it hard to sleep.

This hotel was dirty, after our room was cleaned by room service we were given sheets with blood stains. When we asked for new ones they said we have to wait until tommrow. There is no AC in the hotel. It is very noisy, due to it being next to a train station. Half on the light bulbs were out. And the staff was unpleasant. 0/10 do no recommend.

Fin beliggenhed i fht. tog og centrum af Kbh.

Et weekendophold på 2 nætter. Pænt værelse med gode senge og meget lidt støj fra tog og biler udenfor. Praktisk med Vesterport Station kun få skridt fra hotellet. Brusekabinen er meget smal, men ellers alt ok på værelset. Glimrende morgenbuffet, dog var kaffen ikke værd at drikke.

Perfect location and a good night’s sleep

It was my husband, daughter and me who only stayed for one night in a triple room. The third bed was a proper bed with its own night table and light. The pillows etc were very comfortable. The towels were thick and nice. Kleenex in the bathroom which I appreciate.
Tea kettle in the room with tea, hot chocolate and coffee.
The breakfast was over my expectations and in my view nothing was missing. Huge of variety of things to eat and drink.

There’s construction underway in front of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good. Our room on the second floor was next to a tennis court and was hard to take a nap during a game. Also hotel does not have nearby restaurants except one Italian restaurant which was a little bit pricey.

Great location, but issues with power and wifi

The building is quite old. The room was fine but had a slight musty smell. The hotel's central location is a big plus. One evening, the lights went out because of an issue with the fuse box. We were told that we might not have power until the next day (fortunately, it came back later in the night). The wifi was very spotty, which affected my ability to work.

Tired, in every respect

I almost felt for the young man behind the reception desk when the third customer came to complain about the terrible wifi, but then I remembered I was holding a lukewarm bottle of beer as both draft taps weren't working, and I had a second night ahead of me in my overly hot room without a/c and walls that allowed the sounds of the toilet next door in use to reverberate around my room.

May all be a freak one off, but no plans to try again to find out.

On the plus side, the location is convenient and the breakfast is solid enough.

Be aware that the hotel is across the street from the screeching regional trains. When the weather is cold, this isn't a big issue, but when it is warm, and the window is open (no AC) then it is. Under these conditions, getting a room at the back of the building is highly recommended. Note that the hotel offers free ear plugs -- that tells you something.

We enjoy our stay in the Mercur Hotel. We had a triple room that was quite spacious with a large bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioner. We didn’t have an issue with the noise or air conditioning, and did not need to use the provided ear plug. The breakfast was excellent. The location is most convenient- 20 min train ride from the airport and close to many sightseeing and metro, dining and shopping. The staff went above and beyond to help us. Thank you
