I arrived here with my twin 10 year old children, traveling as a single mom. We stayed for a week. The staff was so kind and accommodating and we were VERY demanding. I needed a lot of support and they never once made me feel like I was a burden. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food first class and the location cannot be beat. The fact that arm bands into Tivoli were included in our stay every single day was a huge bonus. You just walk out the back door and you are in the park. The park is magic. I cannot say enough about The Nimb. We will be back for sure! It’s expensive but truly worth it. Five stars.

First class hotel adjacent to the Tivoli Gardens. The junior suite had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and the complimentary snacks and drinks along with the tea and coffee station were great when we checked in. We also enjoyed a great meal in the brasserie on site and took advantage of the free entry to Tivoli. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed 4 nights in this fabulous hotel. We booked it because it was a top quality hotel near the station but did not realise how integrated it is with the Tivoli Gardens. The bedroom terraces are in the garden. We had not thought to check if the gardens were open during our stay and talking to other guests we were not the only ones. I recommend you check opening before you book, if visiting the gardens and going on rides and to shows is central to your trip then it must be open; but if you are doing other things in Copenhagen it might be preferable for them to be closed. They were open for our last day and were wonderful but I sense they could be noisy when they have rock concerts etc.

The Nimb Hotel is truly exceptional. Having traveled extensively, we can confidently say it ranks among our top five hotels. From start to finish, it delivered a true five-star experience—impeccable staff, excellent service, beautifully appointed rooms with antique furniture, superb restaurants, and awesome views of the Tivoli garden and the remarkable moorish-style building itself. A highlight of our stay was when a beautiful peacock strolled onto our balcony—how often does that happen? At night, the hotel and Tivoli Gardens were illuminated in a magical display. We loved the unexpected (and free :) concerts in the park and just strolling in the park. We felt pampered and enchanted and plan to return—next time, we hope to stay on a higher floor for even more stunning views.

As the say in competitive outdoor cycling when they speak about how difficult the mountains in the Pyrenees are, the Nimb Hotel earns the rating of “Beyond Category”! On a scale of 1 to 5, it earns a “6”!!

Hard to know where to start. Perhaps with the breakfast, which was extravagant and just delicious — you know you have landed well when they serve you Mariage Frères tea in a fine Danish China teapot.

My room (#8) which was so spacious and had a fabulous view of the garden, was spotless and had a working fireplace, and was among the top hotel rooms I have enjoyed in my more than 50 years of travel all over the world.

The staff was tremendously friendly and so ably led by the Cornell School of Hotel Management educated, Maria Oldenbjerg. She was wonderfully outgoing and engaging. Seldom does one ever encounter a Hotel Director who takes such a genuine interest in her clients. Fantastic.

When you are looking for a genuine treat and a hotel stay you will remember as long as you live, book at the Nimb. You will not regret it for one second.

The setting of the hotel with rooms overlooking the Tivoli Gardens is exceptional=, but being located opposite the railway station is not a desirable location. Only a minimal space has been allocated to the hotel lobby which is less than what is expected for a hotel inthis price range. The savinf grace was that we had a beautiful room. Cleanliness of the hotel is not at the expected standard. The concierge service is effectively non-existent, providing inaccurate information when asked for advice, and apparently not aware what serviices a hotel concierge is supposed to provide. with their idea of booking a table at an overbooked restaurant to go on the restaurant's website and put you on the online waiting list. We had unsuccessfully tried to get a table at NOMA prior to arriving at Copenhagen and asked the hotel concierge to try to book a table for us. All they did was to go on the restaurant's website and put you on the online waiting list. Ironically my husband did exeactly the same on the day we arrive in Copenhagen. AIt was amusing that NOMA did not give us a table from the waiting list reservation that the concierge had made, but did give a table to my husband.

It is a very beautiful hotel building including a nice restaurant and pool with great views into Tivoli gardens. I also liked the free convenient access into Tivoli. However, there were disappointments during our stay. Upon entry into our room, there was a large hair found on the pillow and an empty trash potato chip bag in the armoire, which made the room feel not clean. There wasn’t any conditioner available in the shower. The room faced the train station, and we could hear people talking loudly on the street all night. There was also loud annoying dance music until 1:30am, which did not allow me to sleep. (I called the receptionist to report the loud music, and at least they gave me a nice goodie bag the next day to try to make up for the inconvenience.) I asked the staff specifically about fireworks in Tivoli, and asked the start time. They said fireworks started at 10pm. We waited ALL DAY until 10pm for the fireworks, and were very disappointed that there were no fireworks. Apparently, the fireworks are only in the summer time. When leaving our hotel, the staff member wasn’t polite and didn’t help us with most of our luggage into the Taxi. My 74 year old disabled mother had to load her own heavy luggage. I expected better service and quality, especially at the high prices charged for this hotel.

Nimb gave us personal service from the beginning- it’s a boutique hotel and they made us feel special from offering us coffee, to escorting us to our rooms. The property is lovely with views of the gardens outside and antiques everywhere. Everyone was kind and helpful and we had an incredibly delicious lunch in the restaurant! You won’t go wrong with this sweet hotel!

I’m not sure what rating to give the hotel. Many aspects were excellent but a few were very disappointing. The staff were the highlight of the hotel. Every person we interacted with from front desk, the spa and breakfast restaurant were amazing friendly. The hotel breakfast was wonderful. Lots of options and all delicious. The spa is very nice!
The negatives, 2 of the 3 nights we stayed had a rock concert playing. One night from 10pm-11:30pm. It was LOUD! I tried sleeping with ear plugs and pillows over my head. My husband, who does business in US, had to take his business call in our bathroom. The second night was a biggest hits concert from 9pm-10:30pm and fireworks from 11:30pm-12pm. Having a peaceful nights sleep was IMPOSSIBLE. None of this was mentioned on the website, nor when we booked the hotel. The first time we were told about concerts was at checkin. When paying over $900 per night this is really unacceptable.
Another downside was the bathroom. Our shower leaked onto the floor soaking a towel or rug every single time. It was the design not a clogged drain. Cleaning up water on the floor of the bathroom isn’t luxurious.
Lastly the room was lacking. It didn’t feel luxurious or well thought out. We didn’t have drawers for clothing and no place to put a luggage rack. Poorly designed.
We did mention the loud concerts and our leaking shower to the front desk. They brought us some extra towels and offered apologies. Unfortunately we would not return or recommend.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, we could even watch Tivoli entertainment from our room! Relaxing mornings on the terrace for breakfast were so enjoyable and we loved the rooftop pool for cooling off in the heatwave! Super helpful staff, they even set up our sticks & sushi dinner for our late arrival back from Legoland. Would love to stay again :)

It’s on a four seasons / peninsula level if not better.
The facilities are amazing and immerse you in a cocoon you do not want to get out.

Everything you touch or see is luxurious. (That chinaware they use is just so beautiful)

Fnb staff is incredibly helpful (hello young Filipino hostess !!! Thank you !)
Concierge / front desk are great.
Gym is great. They offer all the equipment you may need and all the weight you cant probably lift anyways

Nimb is a top hotel, and I like staying there. However, the price corresponds this upscale hotel. My only real \"complaint\" is the parking options. The hotel offers valet parking, which is expensive for one ... and in my experience also inconvenient because I have to plan the timing when I need the vehicle ... rather than just go get it.

I have stayed in many proper five-star hotels but the only five-star (or even six-star) thing about Nimb is the price tag. I didn't have breakfast there because choices were limited and looked pathetic. I'd rather wait for Cakenhagen to open at 11am. The management simply lacks a business mind. There's a nice cake shop right at their doorstep. Yet they don't work with the cake shop to provide better breakfast for the guests. The pool is tiny and there was bird poo on the sun bed. As an Asian customer, I also felt discriminated by some of the staff members, who seemed more helpful to other European/American guests than to me. They didn't even tell me there were fireworks at the amusement park! Thanks for the (lack of) wonderful memories! I have submitted my comments to the management. A staff member wrote back and said their manager would be in touch but I've never heard back from them. Overall, Nimb is a hotel benefitting from their golden past but refuses to listen and innovate.

Amazing. One of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel. I have been a frequent business traveler for over 25 years and this was hands down my favorite hotel experience. The hotel was so nice my wife and I wanted to stay longer. The property is so unique with some great amenities. The staff was top shelf. My wife and I felt pampered. Great experience. Just wish I could stay at the Nimb on my return from our cruise but it was booked full even 6 months out. I guess the word is out on this gem in Copenhagen.

Amazing staff. Location was incredible, convenient and safe. They don’t mention it, or maybe I didn’t know it but you also get free access to tivoli gardens every day. I cannot day enough about the kindness and willingness of the staff to make sure every request was taken care of. One night we had missed dinner and all of the restaurants were closed. The front desk person actually went out to get us food around the corner. Amazing care.

The three photos of the double room on Expedia misrepresent the double room . Photos indicate double sink, arched windows, sitting room adjacent to the bed. The photos are an upgraded deluxe room not the “double room” advertised on Expedia. The hotel is beautiful in a great location across the street from the central station, The only complaint are the photos that don’t match the room.

The location of the Nimb is perfect for those visiting Tivoli. I highly recommend a room with a balcony. Sun on the balcony until apx 11 (Spring.) Tivoli entrance included. Nice to take a break on the rooftop pool. Service is excellent. Restaurants connected to the hotel are excellent.

If you want to be in the center of it all, while enjoying the unique hospitality that only a boutique luxury hotel and it’s team can provide, Nimb is for you.

From the check-in process, room tour, luggage arrival, to the room details to the food and beverage experiences, you’ll notice the finer details and effort that’s been put into ensuring each guest has a memorable experience.

It’s also an Instagram playground...the gym is the best I’ve experienced ever, the spa is amazing, the heated roof top pool, to the afternoon tea were perfect.

Such an amazing experience over the week I stayed there. I loved every minute of it and it’s now my go to recommendation for anyone visiting Copenhagen.

Wonderful stay at the Nimb. Great for Tivoli visit

Had a high expectation for Nimb since it was rated high on both Hotels.com and Trip Advisor. It did not disappoint! Hotel was beautifully appointed — interior finishing topnotch, bathroom amenities plentiful & high quality (spa like), mini bar was very extensive (one could mix gin & tonic right in the room), very friendly and courteous staff. Oh yeah, stay comes with free entrance and unlimited rides at the Tivoli Gardens! Room also opens up to a view of the Tivoli. Will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was just pricey, so better to have it included in one’s room booking. Distance to other areas — around 10 min. walk to Stroget (shopping), 20 min. walk to Nyhavn (colorful buildings beside canal), 40 min. walk to the Little Mermaid statue. Nimb Hotel is right across the train station.

Luxury Gem in the heart of Copenhagen

The Nimb doesn't look like much from the street side, but that doesn't matter once you are inside the cozy lobby and greeted by the friendly reception staff. This is a luxury boutique hotel. I stayed two nights for a mini-weekend with my daughter. The location is fantastic - directly across from the Central Station and within walking distance of all the major sites. Our room was very comfortable with a view directly on to the Tivoli Gardens. No noise as the windows are double-glazed and sound proof once they are shut. The Nimb offers free admission to the Tivoli Gardens and will even provide tickets to some of the rides, should you wish. Lovely breakfast, comfortable dining room and separate bar/tea room. Terrific fitness/spa facility. All of the staff from the front desk to the wait staff to the housekeepers were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

Nimb Hotel was wonderful. Great location near the train station. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was gorgeous. Spacious with a very nice bathroom. We enjoyed sitting on the love seat next to a fire in the fire place in the evening.
We were mostly busy sight seeing but we did enjoy sometime in the wellness area as well as in the Nimb bar for a cocktail.

Lives up to high expectations. The rooms are beautiful! The furniture complements each other and makes good use of the space. The room feels personable, warm and inviting; not cold and lifeless. The bathroom is glorious; It has a large soaking tub, excellent toiletries, High quality towels and bathmats, loads of counter space and great lighting.
I appreciated the botanical aspect of the hotel. There are beautiful flower and plant displays in the foyer and along the hallways. There are plants in the rooms as well and are tended to regularly. I believe plants are such a great touch to any room.
Theres a lot of construction going on at the hotel which makes for some extra noise and eyesores but they are unavoidable and necessary... Otherwise, excellent hotel I would recommend to anyone and all the little sweets and treats really make you love the hotel even more.

World Class Hotel

Nimb is an excellent boutique hotel located next to Tivoli gardens and very centrally in Copenhagen. The facilities are excellent and the selection and quality of the restaurants is of a high international standard. The service is very personal and genuine but at times a bit too slow. I strongly recommend Nimb to visitors to Copenhagen looking for an exceptional experience

Fine dining
Breakfast was very good but does not compare to German chain Kempinsky hotels by far. Nimb should improve that given price tag of Nimb Hotel

We booked a 2 night stay at the Nimb Hotel in a Deluxe room with views over Tivoli Gardens. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfy, the bath tub big enough for two and we had a lovely balcony / terrace overlooking the amusement park. The room came with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away and I can't fault anything. The facilities at the hotel included a roof top pool, 2 lovely bars, a selection of restaurants, a steam room and Wellbeing treatment centre which we also took advantage of. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had direct access to Tivoli Gardens from the hotel with access to all the amusements. We also hired bikes for the day from the hotel.The location was fantastic - very central and straight opposite the main station. Breakfast and drinks /cocktails were also all exceptional. I actually had the best Bloody Mary I've ever drunk.

A Copenhagen icon.

A true Copenhagen hotel icon in Tivoli, another icon. The hotel lived up to its fullest potential. Great suite with an amazing view if Tivoli gardens. Great food and great service. We will come back.
