First floor, street side is noisy. Street side rooms are small. Recommend the larger room. Overall, great value and comfortable beds. Breakfast option is ok, but better breakfast options elsewhere. Convenient, yes….but better Danish breakfast options are nearby. The pastries at breakfast were lame.

I would stay here again and this is my second time. Just somethings to consider and the front desk is very helpful.

1 cushion per guest is ridiculous. I sleep with 2. For the price and level it f hotel this is a bit of a joke. I could kind of understand it as a standard but surely upon request you should be able to get another, I even offered to pay but no. Also, the app key cards were very inconsistent. Was not too impressed with this place at all

There were several issues with the room, black mold in the shower and surrounding area, no soap in the dispenser, dusty fingerprints on chrome In shower.
The staff were very good in giving me another room and let me check before I moved my belongings.

My partner and I really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The room is small but cozy so we felt comfortable. We didn’t need to interact with any staff as we were able to download our keycard to an app so that was good in terms of not having to worry about talking to anyone upon check in. That was all done online for us, so if you want a smooth check in try and do it online beforehand. It was also a great walking distance to many attractions so that was a positive in itself.

The downsides to this hotel was that I didn’t realise the hotel did not hold our bags for free. I don’t know if it was stated somewhere but I must have missed it otherwise. They have a luggage holder down the stairs of the hotel where you pay to keep your luggage for the amount of hours you’d like. We had arrived quite early and had two suitcases so it was more money. Just a heads up, incase you make the same mistake as us. Another downside was the wifi was not great for us at all, most times we were using our own mobile data which wasn’t convenient. Apart from that we loved the room, it was clean along with the hotel. Would definitely recommend!

Think of this hotel as a capsule hotel w/a private bathroom and you'll be surprised how much room you get:). It's a good economical option in downtown Copenhagen, but the rooms tight for one person let alone two. There is no closet or tea kettle in the room. The bed is good. I stayed 3 nights and didn't get housekeeping. I think they should prob at least take trash out if someone is staying 3+ nights. The bathroom is small but well designed. I strongly urge them to fix clogged drains and scrub the tiles better. You're too good of a hotel to not fix those couple of things. Overall very good value and a hotel where you can get good rest.

Tiny room but very functional. The elevators are slow. The buffet breakfast is around 15. It wasn’t a bad selection of meats cheeses breads coffee. Cereal and eggs available. All in all not a bad value. It’s up on 10th floor.
Tip: do not check out of your room if you plan to spend time in the lobby before you leave. The bathrooms are only accessible with your electronic key. Once u check out that is deactivated. Not a bad location for walking around if the weather is nice. But take a metro or bus from airport to hotel. The taxi will cost you about $70 usd. Uber a little bit cheaper but still expensive compared to metro. I would probably stay here again.

Very basic hotel. Admittedly it was cheap, but the services available to guests are minimal. We arrived early and wanted to leave our bags, but this attracted a charge. Never known this in any hotel before. Then we wanted to use the toilet before going into the city, but the toilet is card controlled and only for guests who have rooms ready. So we were unable to use the toilet.

The only thing we didn't like was that the bathroom walls were glass. I like to get up early and it would've been nice to be able to turn on the bathroom light while my daughter slept. But otherwise it was great!

The hotel is conveniently positioned close to all walkable attractions in the area . We managed to put close to 30km on foot in 3 -4 days but it was all worth it. It would be nice if the room was a bit bigger so you can easily access your bed from both sides. Anyway it was ok . The breakfast was fantastic as far as location, 10th floor with beautiful view of the city as well as the food choices . Coffee machines make an amazing latte. Lots of nice pastries, cheeses and cold cuts as well as amazing bread. Plenty of tables and even in busy times you will find the place to sit and enjoy your morning Java. Outside terrace was also available and the temperature was good enough to enjoy the fresh air while having your breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel . Will be back.

Economy at a cost…

Odd room layout. One bed length wide. Crawl over the rather mushy mattress to reach the window/drapes. Not convenient but the window barely opens anyway. No phone, no mini fridge…clean but cramped.
I was pleased to only be staying for one night. Breakfast was good ( and featured a speedy coffee machine that made individual cups of great coffee!) and SCENIC as the room was located on an upper floor. The glass walls offered up some good city views.

The room is more like a closet than an actual room .. so small! Bathroom too .. can’t even move around. Have to climb into/across the bed just to look out the window?? No kettle or coffee or fridge. And the cost is not cheap either so I just don’t get it. Would not stay there again.

We had to switch room on the first night as the shower drainer wasn't working properly and caused a flood. Sink and toilet pressure not strong. Room was small for 2 people with 2 medium-sized luggages. Body wash and shampoo was empty first night we check-in.

An enjoyable and relaxing stay in Copenhagen.

Hotel was ideally placed in Copenhagen. 5 mins walk from the Central Station and 15 mins from the bus station. 10/15 mins walk from the town square, royal palace and a number of museums. The hotel is well decorated and maintained. The room allocated was (I think) suitable for a single occupant. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast provided by the hotel was sufficient (I arrived at 9.30 and many of the cold meats and salad were finished). All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and courteous. I would consider staying at the hotel if I was revisiting Copenhagen.

Horrible hotel for the money. Would never recommend this to anyone.
1. The unit was so small we could barely move or unpack bags.
2. There are no phones in the rooms.
3. This is the type of obnoxious hotel that charges extra for EVERYTHING. At one point I had an envelope delivered and the desk charged me 10€ to “store it” on their counter for 6hours as they could not call me because see #2 above.
4. They overcharge to hold onto bags for a couple hours - far cheaper options out in town.
5. The sheets had stains on them.
6. The bed is so crammed that if you lose something underneath, you’re unlikely to find it.
7. The shower took well over 10 minutes to get luke-warm, not even hot.
8. No place to hang towels.
9. They failed to tell us that at 11:30pm on weekends there is a 30minute long firework show at the amusement park a block up the street that made my time in Fallujah seem peaceful.

There are plenty of other issues but these are the ones I remember easiest. For what it’s worth, we travel all over and stay in tents that were more reasonable than this. It’s a grift, don’t stay here.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s right next to the central station so it’s perfect if you are going to be travelling to different areas. It’s also a walkable distance to Tivoli gardens and many restaurants and cafes. But the the room was very dirty. There was black mold next to our bed over the whole side of the wall. The amenities are non existent and the curtains are short so as soon as the sun is out, you wake up! So it lives up to that name I guess.

We wanted a room with character, a balcony, kitchen, and soaking tub and this delivered. Staff was kind and accommodating. This apartment style spot added old world style to our Krakow visit. We enjoyed being able to relax when not touring the city and salt mine.

The room was as advertised. The shower floor would flood with water, the glass was filmed with grit, the outside of the glass was not clean. However, the bed was very comfortable, the facility was peaceful, the night cap bar was a good place to find a spot in the lobby and drink an ice cold beer. I would return as it was close to the central station and Vestabro, which is a surprisingly active area with lots of people, food and drink.

I spent 4 days in Copenhagen after a cruise. On the cruise I had a 'solo traveler ocean view room. When I walked into the WakeUp Copenhagen room, I was unhappily shocked. It was easily the tinest room I had ever stayed in. It felt I was in a nursery sized room. It was tiny. Based on the size of the room, I probably would not stay at this hotel again. Yes, I know I can pay more to get a larger room, but honestly, based on how small the standard room was, I would not want to take a chance that the larger room would actually be substantially larger.
The other big problem was the lack of ice availability. I have a warnout knee and often need to ice my knee at the end of the day because it is swollen. I truly resented having to pay for ice each day. It doesn't matter how much. On the cruise ship, there was a 4.95 service fee when I called room service for ice. Once they realized what I needed the ice for, the cruise company removed all the service fee. Each time at the hotel that I purchased 2 cups of ice, I told the guest serices representative what I needed the ice for each time I purchased ice. There was no comment. Those are 2 big reasons, why I will be unlikely to book a WakeUp hotel again. Another negative is the extreme use of technology. I want to deal with people, not computer screens

An easy 15 min walk from central station. Rooms are small but everything you need. Comfortable bed and no noticable noise.
We chose to buy breakfast and it was very good value, buffet style.
I would use this hotel again if I return to Copenhagen.

We had a wake up large room which is small. There was no closet and the sink was in the same space as the toilet and shower. There was no space to unpack our bags but the bed was comfortable. Elevators were small for such a big hotel.
