CitizenM was the perfect place for our stay.
The hotel features smart room technology, meaning all the room functions, lights, temperature, and TV, are controlled through an app on the iPad provided in the room. The room itself is compact, but cleverly designed to make the most of the space. We had a great view of the city and there was still plenty of room for two people to share comfortably.
The bathroom is a pod-style design, which helps maximise the room space. There is a room which is dedicated to ironing (mega helpful to know) and this is shared by the floor.
The reception area is also an open-plan bar and breakfast area, with lots of spaces to relax throughout the day. There are plenty of workspaces, as well as games and books to keep you entertained.
The staff were lovely and very helpful, and overall it was a fantastic hotel experience. Definitely one I’ll book again when I visit Copenhagen.

First time visitor to Copenhagen. As we were looking to book a place to stay. We debated trying a hostel or cheaper hotel. But we are glad we did not. This hotel was an excellent mid-tier choice.

Location: As we were traveling here during winter. We wanted a place close by the Kovenhaven H train station. As we searched, some reviews mentioned “noise” in certain areas. Train noises. Nosies of clubs or bars. As we are in our 40-50’s. We were willing to pay more for a quieter place.

When booking here, we had three options. Higher up, quieter, facing the courtyard, less street noise. We choose one facing the Main Street for the views and decided that next time, we would choose the quieter option.

Hotel room was…efficient. We liked it. Very modern. Very ikea. There was an iPad for custom lighting, temperature and blind controls. It is on the smaller side but we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. If you wanted to lounge or work. The 7th floor had lots of space.

If your a Marriott member this Hotel chain becuase a part of that group in 2025. So you can use points or your free nights.

We were very pleasantly surprised with our room at CitizenM. It’s hard to find somewhere in Copenhagen for a reasonable price and this hotel was perfect for us. Only about a 10 min walk into the centre, 20 mins to Nyhavn and round the corner from Tivoli. The room was spacious, given its layout and the bed was big and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would happily stay here again!

Every city that we been to, as long as there is a Citizen M we always stay at Citizen M. And this Citizen M at Radhuspladsen , I would happily recommend. As usual the room is very ckean , great mattress and all the controls. Like for the lights, blinds , alarm are all in the ipad. Location is great. Very near to the City Hall, Tivoli, restaurants, grocery store, train station, there’s 7-11, mcDonalds, starbucks, kfFC, very convenient location, I highly recommend this hotel whenever you go to Copenhagen.

Great location and good hotel for what we needed! We were told they were understaffed at the weekend so they asked my partner to come and get things from the kitchen instead of them being able to bring it to our room and it took 2 requests for them to bring Champagne to our room for our Engagement (charged £66 at the end which my partner wasn't expecting), it was supposed to arrive before we got back as my partner asked in the morning and we got back around 5pm. Second request to change our sheets as they had changed them in the afternoon to dirty sheets which was really odd - you could see marks on the bedding which were supposed to be fresh. The staff on arrival were lovey and super helpful but due to the staffing issue seemed less attentive throughout which was a shame. Location was great regardless and very walkable, plus right by a metro which we could use daily! We didn't have breakfast here as there's so many bakeries near by!

I thought the hotel was overall decent. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable but I found it to be a little too small for my liking, it was very compact and had me feeling a little claustrophobic. I would have expected complimentary in-room tea and coffee making facilities for a 4 star in Europe. Check-in was high tech, everything was digital. The room had an iPad which enabled me to control the mood lighting, temperature, blinds, curtains and TV channels which I thought was quite cool. Hotel was clean and modern and you can't fault the location. It is conveniently located to get around Copenhagen without any hassle.

Casting on TV cut off every 30 mins, no option to Insert own USB devices (like firestick)on media. Bed awkward to get in as pushed against window, would be a nightmare if sharing a room. Staff were ok, but I'm a mrtiot good member and wasn't offered late check out.

Room was EXTREMELY SMALL and not properly equiped. Missing a glass to dring water, etc
Bathroom was added, so it was a plastic cabin ! VERY BAD ! WC washing was insixe the room, 1 meter away from bed !
Everythjng very small and uncomfortable. IT IS A SHAME that the hotel category is 4+. Otherwise, stuff & breakfast was very good and pleasant

Was great being able to operate the lights, heating and TV from the iPad.
Room was not as clean as I would have liked: floor needed another hoover or sweep as bit stuck to the soles of our feet, duvet had a few marks and fridge was dirty.

The hotel has a very modern vibe, i really found the space with the rooms very comfortable and very nice size for a solo traveller , huge bed with a very handy tablet where you can control featured such as lights, tv channels, blinds curtains etc... Bed very comfortable with sleep,
The hotel eating and relaxing area is on the top floor with breakfast and evening food menu and a very nice bar area, there are lots of places to eat near the hotel so plenty of choices available. 😊😊👍👍

Hotel is really central and easy to access the Metro and bus links around the city. You can also walk to near by neighbourhoods. The area around the hotel has great bars and restaurants and it was really safe for me to be out at night on my own and making my way home later in the evening. Didn't take breakfast as loads of nice cafes close by. Drinks were nice in the bar and a lovely view over the city.

Room was smaller than expected, though well-designed and modern. (Would be better if they can fit a luggage rack). Smart controls, with auto-black-out blinds, excellent!

Minor issue with the safe not working, waited for more than 45min to have someone sent to room to investigate. In the end, they switched me to another room. No issue with the safe in the new room. Hotel has a cool lounge / common area, but when I was chilling, other guests were being loud and inconsiderate (they were on a phone with speaker on). Not the hotel's fault.

I had the most amazing stay at citizenM Copenhagen Radhuspladsen. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and the staff were exceptional. They made us feel welcomed and the breakfast was amazing. The location was ideal as well! Will definitely be back sometime in the future :)

And it is very convenient that there is a place where you could work in the nice setting.
Excellent location close to everything either by foot or by public transport.
Big drawback - the black mold in the shower on majority of the joints, not something you would expect from a 4* hotel.

The room was quiet and immaculate and the room iPad controls easy to initiate and use on my own phone or iPad. There was more space than I expected and everything was well thought out with thoughtful storage cubbies in the sink. If I were being nit picky, I’d wish for a couple more hooks by the door in addition the the two provided. We appreciated having the comfortable king sized bed, although, be warned, the person sleeping next to the wall/window will have to be agile enough to climb in and out! The breakfast was spectacular with high quality fresh food and healthy choices and a good value. Views from the 7th floor dining area of City Hall were lovely and the staff were always welcoming and warm, offering top rate service. Copenhagen Central Station is a close walk away as well as Radhuspladsen Metro station, making access to transport very convenient. There is a 7Eleven on the next corner to pick up anything quickly. We fell in love with Copenhagen and hope to return. We’d definitely stay at citizenM again!

Perfect for solo stay - Silent in the room besides sometimes the motorized shades from next door. Have to crawl off the foot of the bed but worth it to have the King size. More spacious than others said - 6'3\" and easily able to do pushups on the floor. Would be tight to share, but definitely doable. Great location

Chic yet cozy — a place with personality

I am a vacation traveler that appreciates a nice room with all the luxuries. Initially we had booked an apartment rental through VRBO, which turned out to be a major dissappointment. The owners were MIA and we were unable to reach them. So we were forced to book our weekend stay at a hotel. There was a convention going on so that was no easy task. When we got confirmation at CitizenM we were relieved, but not expecting much. When we arrived we were greeted by a helpful, open staff. The rooms were oddly small, but quiet with modern lighting and a large comfortable bed. Sitting in the bar on the 7th floor was great, the view of the city and services were catchy, modern and full of personality. Since the location was so central we were able to experience the city with just a few steps. Special thanks to a kind, welcoming staff at all points.

The staff was lovely and extremely helpful. Everything was super clean and organized. My only complaint was the size of the room, but evidently they were all just about 9 ft. wide😳. All the amenities were there, but it was extremely compact. Great location!

Our bed was a king bed turned so that one of us would have to climb atop the other to get in. On our final night, we re-made the bed so that we could both have our feet sticking out into the room but this would never do if I were any taller at all. I have never seen such a thing at any hotel and found it unacceptable.

Property is close to city hall and tivolli. Seems modern new and clean. What I didn’t like was the size of the room. It’s the length of a bed turned sideways. Difficult to get ready in the morning passing each other near the sink and shower toilet area. Felt safe cause you needed a room key for that floor to make the elevator work. Staff was super friendly and helpful

SMART stay is remarkable! Control wide range of ambient colorful light in the bathroom, climate, TV, cool wakeup alarm progression, blinds and curtains. All that on that and more at your fingertips (iPad).

Ironing clothes isn't a problem, dedicated room in each floor. 7th floor lounging area and bar, with outdoor elevated balcony view for a morning coffee and nightly moon seigt.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast is really good in general, fresh fruits, the Danish \"morgenbord\".

Secure your luggage in the \"Luggage Room\" is a great Plus when you have few hours to tour the city prior to a scheduled flight.
