Location was spot on, only mention is that I was a little confused finding my room as none of the rooms on my level had signage to tell you what number room it was.

We were disappointed because half of the hotel was in renovation and our room was with an old carpet instead hardwoodfloor (like in the pictures). We were not notified about any of that beforehand. Other than that a great hotel in a great surrounding.

Hotel is very trendy downstairs but the rooms could do with a refresh. I like how the TV was easy to connect to and the breakfast was great but we did have to move from our first room (room 502) as the road noise was so loud we barely slept. Our second room on the 4th floor was much better but did have an eggy smell from the bathroom drains. The rooms could generally be cleaned a little better and it’s a shame that you have to ask for things like conditioner, dressing gowns etc rather than them being provided already in the room. It was in a great location, but for the money and considering everywhere in central Copenhagen is easy to get to, I think we should’ve picked somewhere else as there’s a lot of other great options.

SP34 was an excellent hotel to stay in for our Copenhagen trip. Though not in the center of Copenhagen, it was very close to train stations and still very walkable to many of the areas. Being close to the train stations made it easy to get to the airport and the Louisiana Museum. Lots of good restaurants, coffee ,etc all around the area.

We stayed in 2 rooms; the top floor room (twin) was nice (quiet too as it faced the courtyard) but a bit compact. Due to a running toilet (lol) we got moved to a different room on the other side of the hotel. This was also a twin room with a courtyard view, but it was considerably roomier!

The hotel staff was really nice for our entire stay, especially helping us figure out their Metro, subway and larger train system. Breakfast was great and loved the evening complementary wine.

Great place, would stay there again for sure.

Really disappointed. Our room was so hot (no AC) and above a bar so we had to keep the windows open the entire stay and cigarette smoke and loud music all night long. We woke up to cigarette smoke wafting into the room every morning. Just intolerable.

We had the best stay, no complaints at all. Staff were all very helpful and approachable and the room was nicely presented. The breakfast had great healthy options. There was also the free ‘wine hour’ which was something we looked forward to each night- they had non alcoholic wine which was perfect for us. Would love to stay again!

Rooms are not worth the price

Some things about the hotel are excellent (location is A plus, staff are lovely, the free wine hour was appreciated and the common areas are lovely) but the rooms leave a lot to be desired - especially at this extremely high price point. Our two rooms were down a small shabby corridor, extremely hot as in the roof (there is no air con), stark and not very comfortably furnished with a tiny showerroom. The amenities in the bedroom were like a 2 star hotel - the bed linen and towels were very low quality, the hair dryer was dreadful (one of those you have to hold a button down on) and coffee/tea were via a kettle rather than a coffee machine as you'd expect when paying close to £500 a night. We were actually upgraded by the hotel to these rooms too,

So glad we chose Hotel SP34 for our quick stop in Copenhagen! Location was perfect, walking distance from Central Station and Metro as well as all the top tourist destinations. Super cute, vibrant neighborhood. Room was quiet and we appreciated the blackout curtains, especially visiting in late-June when it hardly gets dark. Loved all the perks the hotel offered including the complimentary happy hour and night cap drinks, the workout facility, the bikes, and the social atmosphere. Staff was very accommodating - offered glasses of milk for my toddler and provided a comfortable crib for our use. The breakfast was FANTASTIC! Would definitely stay here again hands down!

We stayed for four nights in a penthouse suite with our two kids and loved it. I think different areas of the hotel have a different vibe, and some feel “nicer” than others, but where we stayed did not feel too loud as some reviews state even though we faced the road. The room itself was spacious with a nice balcony and big bathroom. The one negative is the shower design which somehow got the whole bathroom floor soaked after a shower. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is amazing, the wine hour is a great idea and has everyone out of their rooms and socializing. Thoughtful design, excellent location, and a lot of amenities we used. Would definitely come back here for another stay.

Unfriendly staff, noisy hotel

I found the front desk staff weren’t friendly.
Once I checked in I asked once about some of the facilities (cinema etc) and wasn’t really met with a clear answer so I didn’t bother to ask for anything else after that.
The breakfast was good and the room was clean, but I was woken up around 5 every morning by bin collection? And then again at 6. I didn’t get good sleep here and for that reason I wouldn’t recommend it.

I stayed for 5 nights total, and unfortunately I was placed in front of a construction area where work started as early as 7 am with loud conversations and construction noise. I think it was very miscalculated to place me in front of this construction area. Short term stays should have been placed in those types of rooms.
I have mixed reviews about the staff. The day I walked in to check in, a staff member saw me struggling to get in, made eye contact with me and turned away. It wasn't until later that I realized he was the manager. The same manager promised to change my room after I realized I was facing a construction area, but after calling in the morning, I was told there were very few rooms opening up, offering me with a similar view/ situation.
In general, the female staff were helpful/ friendly when I had questions.
One of the hotel's focus is to bring people together, they have free coffee, free wine hour, and drinks at night. Regardless of whatever anyone has to say about the quality, I think it's a very generous offering. But in case you don't like people gathering in the lobby, I thought you should know.
My room was attended to, however a (full) bathroom trash bag was left behind in my room. On several occasions, extra entry cards were left behind, that I would mistakenly swap out with my card and then would not allow me to get in to my room. A mess.
The gym is in another building with a short distance away. There were many ways to improve my stay.

First the positives. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. Shared spaces were really good.
Breakfast was very average. We liked that it was organic.
The room was poor and not what we were expected. We had a suite. Beds for kids were very poor for price point. The adult beds were uncomfortable with strange shaped pillows and the towels were unacceptable for any level of hotel. We were promised a free minibar when we booked but actually it was free drinks at reception that we had to pay to be delivered or go get ourselves. Also had fridge in room that didn’t work.
Not worth cost of room.

Overall a really good stay, the wine hour is a super nice touch. As is the Night cap hour! Very central location which is good but we have stayed in Vestebro twice before and would stay there again next time but that is personal preference and no fault of the hotel.

The only thing I would say is we were in one of the larger rooms with the big windows and the street noise is very loud. I am not a light sleeper but it was ridiculous with road sweepers, deliveries and binmen all seemingly working simultaneously from 3-6AM on the 3 nights we were there. So ask for a room not facing the street.

Other than that really nice hotel with a good breakfast buffet.

Another comfortable stay

Our second stay at SP34 was again comfortable and very convenient for central Copenhagen. Since all the rooms are slightly different, you don't get a feeling of deja vu when you arrive, and so we will undoubtedly be staying here again. Our inside room was completely silent, but the street itself is very quiet with little traffic. It may be slightly more lively in summer? The lobby area with wine and seating is convivial!

We had the small double room, but the bed didn’t come with a headboard as described and was up a step in a little like cocoon. There was very limited plug sockets in the room, was a kettle but no where close by to actually plug it in. Bathroom was a great size. But the curtain in the bathroom was see through so the rooms opposite could see you on the toilet or in the shower room! :(

Do not book if travelling with kids. I booked a suite as photos showed a fridge in the room. Unfortunately when we arrived we found out the fridge is kept off for sustainability and wouldn't be turned on. We therefore struggled to store our baby food/milk and had to keep it in the hotel bar instead. Staff would not bring this to us if needed overnight due to lack of room service. You realise from the moment you check in that this hotel is not designed with families with young kids in mind. Check in is at the bar, there is no ramp if travelling with pushchair and no help with doors/luggage. If arriving early baby changing is also challenging as the changing table in lobby toilets is very small and fitted at a slant so young children slide/roll. Breakfast options for children are also shockingly limited. I really regretted booking this hotel with a toddler and tried to cancel my booking and go somewhere else. I have travelled a bit with my baby and this hotel was by far the worst at accommodating our needs. Save yourself a lot of stress and just avoid if you have a baby/young child.

Excellent location for dining and walking. Renting bikes from the hotel was easy and convenient. The room was comfortable, excellent shower and good light. 5pm free wine was delicious. Very good bartender and smiling, friendly staff. Negatives: Noisy workers in the courtyard and in the hallway at 2am speaking very loudly and banging the garbage lids. One of the front desk clerks was rude to our friend who checked in before us.

Very cute boutique hotel. We stayed in the suite with the minibar package, which I would recommend as drinking out in Copenhagen is very expensive. Also, they have a hotel-wide wine hour and tipple hour at late night. Friendly staff at the front desk. Good breakfast also with helpful staff.

One should note that there is no air-conditioning, which is mostly fine in the summer, except we did have mosquitoes come into the window. Also there is a clock tower bell that rings every 15 minutes, even in the night, so it's not really possible to open the window at night, which led the room to get warm/stuffy. Finally, the large window from the suite into the bathroom is just kind of awkward. I think it's there to let more light in, but it needs some kind of curtain or something.

Very nice stay at a relatively affordable downtown location. It’s very close to the excellent Torvehallen market. There is a free wine and aperitif hour, as well as coffee and croissants in the morning. The breakfast buffet is great if you want to add that as well. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The front desk staff is terrific and were welcoming and accommodating. The small lobby is comfortable with a modern vibe. The complimentary wine hour is a nice touch.

Our room was average at best. It is the typical size of European hotel rooms with basic amenities.

The room cleaning service was hit or miss. On our second day we received one bath towel and the garbage bin in the bathroom disappeared. The complimentary team and coffee was replaced on occasion. The last day dirty coffee cups were left in the room.

The WiFi service didn’t work in our room for 2 days. This is not a big deal unless you were trying to catch up with work.

SP34 is in a good location. The Skt Peders Bageri (bakery) down the street is wonderful and a must visit. The Metro is a few minutes away and we found interesting restaurants nearby.

I rate SP34 as average. The staff made the stay pleasant. If we return to Copenhagen we would opt to upgrade our hotel and stay elsewhere

The staff is friendly and helpful for keeping my luggage in the hotel.

The small double room is compact but not too small, very stylish with the design furniture and lightings.

My room is facing the garden where they keep the dumpsters, which is weird to me. and I can hear staff from the restaurant or the hotel cleaning up, dragging the garbage bin in the middle of night which is very noisy.

Cleanliness is average. The room is over all clean, but the floor feels a bit sticky. also found a small spider on my bed.

The bathroom is okay, but the shower is weirdly designed by using a shower curtain that is obviously too short to divide the wet and dry area. However it's not doing the work, water will go all over the place after a shower...

Even with tasteful decoration, one unprofessional staff can tarnish the entire experience, ruining the pleasant and welcoming first impressions. Miss I.M. could not be bothered to care about the comfort of hotel guests, only her own convenience. I question who, in their right mind, placed her at the front desk in the first place.
